WWE Raw Review 7/30/12

Note: This is this WWE Raw 1001 Episode. There will be no stars like the Rock or Brock Lesnar. This will be the show that focus on CM Punk, John Cena, and Big Show. Also with AJ Lee being the legit GM of Raw, Daniel Bryan will have to face his ex fiancee. As bad as this sounds, this is how the WWE makes their shows look, like a goddamn soap opera. With that said, here's WWE Raw.......

Opening Segments: CM Punk does a shoot like interview on the table where Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are doing commentary. He speaks about his actions last week. Big Show comes out to explain his actions. Then Cena comes out to beat up Big Show while CM Punk watches. AJ Lee comes out to announce that Big Show vs. John Cena for the #1 contender to the WWE title.
(CM Punk is not a heel. He's tired of the WWE champion being pushed back because of the Rock, Cena, Big Show, and others. I'm getting tired of Cena getting the spotlight. Even when Hogan was not champion he would step to the side for the champ. Big show is a great heel now but he also needs to slow down. I guess this is going to be interesting to watch.)

Match#1: Santino Marella vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(ADR is gaining heel status. He is trying to be more ruthless and aggressive. He said he will not wrestle until SummerSlam. I want to see ADR just talk and do run ins. I like the new ADR but this is not going to last. We all know that ADR is going to beat Sheamus and be the World Heavyweight Champion.)

Back from the break and Brodus Clay is in the ring dancing with Cameron and Naomi. Vickie Guerrero comes out running her mouth. She tells them to step aside and has some old school hip-hop played. Vickie starts dancing but is interrupted by Damien Sandow. Sandow says a horrible crime was committed against humanity last week. He shows us footage of DX beating him up at RAW 1000. Sandow just attacks Clay and takes his leg out. Sandow beats Clay down and hits him with a bunch of knees. Sandow continues the assault and rips Clay's necklace. Sandow poses as his music hits and Cole plays up the fact that Sandow has snapped.
(This started as dumb but Damien Sandow made this interesting. I guess getting pedigreed last week made him more ruthless. Poor Brodus is being used as a scapegoat. I actually want to see them wrestle.)

Match#2: Street Fight - Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus
(This was made by using social media. I won't comment on this until later. Daniel Bryan is being made to look crazy as all hell. Sheamus is still looking good. This was a good match even though this was toned down because of the pg rating. Love the ending. Also loved that Daniel Bryan was made to look like he is one fry short of a happy meal.)

Match#3: Kofi Kingston vs. Titus O'Neil
Winner: Titus O'Neil
(The match was boring. The guys in the ring were boring. However, AW comments about Kobe Bryant were uncalled for. This is why some people don't need to be mic'd. )

Match#4: Heath Slater vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Randy Orton
(OMG!!! RKO is back! I marked out when his music came on and it was funny to see him come out. Heath Slater is being made to become the ultimate jobber. That's sad to watch. He will join guys like Brooklyn Brawler, Knuckleball, and even Doink. Good to see RKO back on WWE TV. )

Match#5: Chris Jericho and Christian vs. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler
Winners: Christian and Chris Jericho
(This was a good match. This basically showcase old verses new. Miz is back to being awesome. Dolph is being the showoff. Y2J is still the best in the world. Christian is just there. This was a good match because it showed that all four can put on a good match. )

Match#6: Tensai vs. Tyson Kidd
Winner: Tensai
Winner by DQ: Tyson Kidd
(First Tensai won clean but he decided to mess with Tyson Kidd while he was down. The ref reverse his decision. This upset Tensai. What was funny is that Tensai is back to being where Albert was. Mid card hell!!!!!!)

Main Event: Big Show vs. John Cena
Winner: No Contest
(I knew this was not going to end clean. I also know that this is going to be a clusterfuck. CM Punk wants the WWE title to be respected. Cena is there because WWE (Vince) wants his golden goose to be in the main event. Big Show is there for the muscle. AJ did something good by making this a triple threat match. However, the next three weeks will be a straight clusterfuck.)

Final Thoughts: Fire caused the show to start late. This is the sign of bad things to come for WWE. Also using social media is not going to be good because since when do WWE listen to their fans. One more thing, this was a decent show without celebrities or having old WWE stars boost ratings. I know this 3 hour format is going to be a bad idea and by the end of the fall, we will be back to two hours. See you all for TNA Impact.......

WWE Smackdown Review 7/27/12

Note: This is the show after WWE Raw 1000. This will either help or hurt Raw 1001. Most of the matches tonight will have an effect on what's to come. I hope WWE can make their shows better. Especially with Raw going 3 hours and also with WWE Smackdown being the step kid. With that said, here's WWE Smackdown.........

Opening Segment: New WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz opens the show but is interrupted by Christian. Christian wants a rematch tonight and gets it.
(I am happy to see The Miz back. I am a fan when he's good but he was getting buried before he left. Christian is not going to get another shot at the world heavyweight title but he should. The Miz needs to get another shot for the WWE Title.)

Match#1: IC Title Match - The Miz vs. Christian
Winner: The Miz
(This was a good match. I like seeing the Miz wrestle and also seeing Christian work. Both these guys are good workers and need title shots. The IC title is going to be popular again. I hope they dont fuse this title with the US title together.)

Match#2: Ryback vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: Ryback
(So guys are running from Ryback? Really? I guess he does need competition. Let him face Santino and win the US title. Then go after the WHC. If this is a Goldberg clone, let him go down the line of Goldberg.)

Match#3: Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes
Winner: Sheamus
(There is a huge melee after the match with Y2J, Ziggler, and Sheamus. Seeing this made me glad to see there is life in Smackdown and the WHC title is not a joke. I love to see titles mean something. )

Match#4: Antonio Cesaro vs. Santino Marella
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(This was a waste of time. I like Santino but this was boring for a match with him. I actually changed channels for a sec because of this match.)

Match#5: Damien Sandow vs. Yoshi Tatsu
Winner: Damien Sandow
(This was a boring match. I did change channels again. I know Triple H might have Pedigree him after the match but I wish I saw it.)

Main Event: Alberto Del Rio vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio - Fatal 4 Way Match to be #1 Contender for the WHC
Winner: ADR
(No comment. I'm speechless.)

Final Thoughts: Most of the show was good until the end. We all know that ADR is going to be WHC soon. I just remember that RKO is coming back soon. He won't get a title shot right away but ADR will win the title soon. Santino needs to lose the US title. The Miz and Christian stole the show for me. See you all for Raw 1001.

TNA Impact Review 7/26/12

Note: It seems like Aces and Eights is going to be the summer angle of 2012. I don't think this will end well. The BFG series is something that is lost on me because of the points. Also, the Gut Check segments are basically a short version of NXT or Tough Enough. My point is that TNA is either going to be good or bad. Anyways, here's TNA Impact.......

I don't care about the opening segments. Sting is in charge and Aces and Eights are running wild.

Match#1: Mickie James and Tara vs. Gail Kim and Madison Rayne
Winners: Madison & Gail Kim
(I was so happy to see my crush wrestle. This was a tag match but next week they all are going to have a four way match to see who is going to face Miss Tessmacher for the KO title. This was a good match. I love seeing real women wrestle. I did not care for the angle with Madison Rayne and Earl Hebner. This was a good match.)

Match#2: Gut Check Match - Doug Williams vs. Sam Shaw
Winner: Doug Williams
(Sam Shaw was winning but was distracted at the end. The angle with the rejected guy is going to build up. This was a good match for both. Shaw should get a contract for his work.)

Match#3:BFG Match - AJ Styles vs. James Storm
WINNER: No Contest
(Aces and Eights interfered. Both were awarded 2 points. Don't care about the points. Aces and Eights strikes again. I hope they do something different with this angle ASAP.)

Match#4: X Division Title Match - Zema Ion vs. Kenny King
Winner: Zema Ion
(Good solid match. Love Zema Ion. Kenny King was in ROH but want more money. WWE is where the money is but TNA is where you actually get to wrestle.)

Main Event: BFG Match - Kurt Angle vs. Bully Ray
Winner: Kurt Angle
(I am shocked that Bully Ray made this a bearable match. I still think he should retire and teach. However, this match made both look good. I think Angle can wrestle for at least another five years and help TNA because if he goes back to WWE, he might have to retire like Edge.)

After The Main Event: Aces & Eights immediately hit the ring to attack Angle. After they delivered a beat down on Angle, A.J. Styles, Sting, and Austin Aries hit the ring to fight A&E. Suddenly, James Storm's music played to bring out Storm. Storm hit the ring and A&E bailed from the ring, with Storm not getting his hands on the group. Storm, Sting, Angle, Styles, and Aries remained in the ring as A&E fled. Angle then began questioning Storm on why he was late to arrive to make the save. Tenay announced he was just informed of Angle vs. Storm on next week's Impact as Storm and Angle argued in the ring. How could the match have just been booked if interim GM Sting was in the ring? Who is Sting's assistant?! Is the assistant in cahoots with Aces & Eights?! Tenay signed off with Aries getting in the middle of the Storm-Angle dispute to close the show.
(This is the angle that TNA is going to make it famous. Like Nexus, The Corre, and the NWO, this stable will be dominate at first but something will kill it. Have fun with it TNA.)

Final Thoughts: I know Chavo debuted tonight. I love Chavo but he's going to use his family's name in TNA. He is not going to be a TNA Champion but he might be X Division or even TV Champion. TNA is going to be live for a few more weeks. TNA is going to do some good shows while live. I can't wait for them to be taped again. BFG is going to be something I have to learn but the matches are going to be good. I hope this is a good thing for TNA. See you all for WWE Smackdown.

WWE Raw 1000th Show Review

Note: I want to thank NODQ.com for the backstage and also in ring stuff because I admit that I missed most of it because I was not going to watch all three hours. Get use to that because I am not a fan of this show being as long as The Dark Knight Rises. With that said, Here's the 1000th Raw Super Epic Show!!!!!!!!

Opening Segment: Vince comes out and thanks the fans. They throw a "thank you Vince" chant back at him. Vince welcomes us to Monday Night RAW and introduces DeGeneration X. The DX music hits and out comes Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Shawn says he needs to catch his breath from running around. Shawn says he feels like something is missing. Triple H agrees and they do some DX comedy. Triple H says there used to be more of them. The DX music hits again and they introduce X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. They come riding in the Army tank from the WCW invasion years ago. DX reunites in the ring and the crowd pops big for it. They do crotch chops as the X pyro goes off across the ring. Road Dogg takes the mic first and does his famous intro for The New Age Outlaws. Triple H does his intro and asks everyone if they're ready. Triple H says he will see everyone at RAW 2000 and then tells everyone to get ready to suck it. More DX comedy. They pick on Shawn for posing for Playgirl years ago. They're interrupted by Damien Sandow. Sandow walks to the ring and Shawn says to let him talk. Sandow says this is what WWE and society at large has turned into - degenerates. Sandow runs them down some more but acknowledges that DX could beat him down and dispose of him like trash. Sandow says he won't be a victim if they do - he will be a martyr for anyone who appreciates a sophisticated mind. DX discusses this as a group as Sandow looks on. HBK connects with Sweet Chin Music and then Triple H grabs him for a Pedigree. They tell everyone to suck it again before the DX music hits and they celebrate some more. They disrobe Sandow and toss him out of the ring.
(This was the best opening of all time. I loved seeing all of DX reunited. I know Chyna was not there but it was still a good way to open the show. Seeing Road Dogg and Billy Gunn was sad but epic. Even seeing Xpac was sad but epic. The thing with Vince was good for business and also good for the WWE Universe. Damien Sandow was kinda of the cherry on top to showcase a new star with the past.)

Match#1: Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara and Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio
Winners: Sheamus. Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio
(I feel sorry for Sheamus. He started the show and also had to be the big men in a group of smaller guys. Nice to see Rey get back into the ring but he also needs to retire in the next year or so. Sin Cara is gone soon. No more botches and no more appeal. Dolph is not going to be champ soon but he will get closer to main event status. ADR is slowly becoming lame and he needs some new stick or something. Y2J is gone after the summer to tour with his shitty band. So this was a sad way to start the matches after an epic reunion.)

Match#2: Jack Swagger vs. Brodus Clay
Winner: Brodus Clay
(This was basically a squash match. Brodus brought out Dude Love (Mick Foley) to dance with. Again, nice way to use the old with the new. This was to showcase Brodus, The Girls and Dude Love.)

We go to Jerry Lawler in the ring for the wedding. Lawler introduces the reverend for tonight and out comes WWE Legend Slick. Slick does a promo and out comes the groom Daniel Bryan. Bryan chants yes as he comes out in a white tux. "Here Comes the Bride" hits as AJ makes her way out looking good in a wedding dress. Slick begins his speech about marriage and the crowd chants "what" at everything. Slick asks if anyone can show just cause on why these two shouldn't be married. The crowd boos but nobody comes out to interrupt. Slick hands Bryan the ring. Bryan admits they have had ups and downs but he says he loves AJ and always will. Bryan says a new chapter will begin for the both of them and he will finally have everything he's ever wanted. Bryan slips the ring on hr finger. Slick asks if Bryan takes AJ to be his wife and he says YES. Slick can't finish his sentence before AJ says yes. Slick goes to wed them but AJ stops him. She wasn't saying yes to Daniel, she says. She was saying yes to someone else - another man. AJ says this man proposed to her earlier tonight. Vince McMahon's music hits and out he comes. Vince says it's not that kind of proposal. It's a business proposal. Vince introduces the new RAW General Manager - AJ Lee. AJ smiles, Bryan looks shocked and the crowd gets riled up. AJ hands Bryan the flowers back and skips around him in the ring as her music plays. AJ leaves up the ramp as Bryan gets upset in the ring. AJ chants yes from the stage while Bryan chants no in the ring. She has left him at the altar. Bryan tears apart the wedding set as we go back to commercial. Back from the break and Bryan is still throwing a fit in the ring. Out comes WWE Champion CM Punk to a big pop. Punk mocks Bryan for getting left at the altar. Punk says AJ as General Manager can't be good for Bryan's luck. Punk tells Bryan to continue throwing a fit while he continues to be the best in the world. Bryan goes off and yells that he is the greatest of all-time. He is interrupted by The Rock's music. Out comes The Rock to a huge pop. The Rock hits the ring and the crowd chants his name. Rock says Bryan doesn't get to say who the greatest of all-time is because the fans do. More chants for The Rock. Bryan goes to cut Rock off but Rock isn't having it. The crowd chants Boots To Asses as Punk looks on from the side. The Rock points out that he first won a WWE Title in St. Louis and the crowd pops some more. Rock knocks Bryan and says he's here to talk about the WWE Champion. Rock announces that whoever the WWE Champion is at Royal Rumble will face The Rock that night with their title on the line. Punk says Rock is looking at who that man will be. Punk says he will beat John Cena tonight and if Rock wants a match at Royal Rumble, he wishes it was tomorrow. Punk says CM Punk vs. The Rock sounds good to him but he's going to win. The Rock declares that he will be the next WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble. Bryan starts chanting no and the crowd chants yes. Bryan says this is supposed to be about him. This was supposed to be the greatest night of his life. Bryan gets in Rock's face and says someway, somehow, Rock will fight him at the Rumble. Bryan says he will be the face of WWE. Rock says Bryan is what would happen if a homeless lumberjack banged an oompa loompa. Rock wishes Punk good luck for tonight and goes back to Bryan. Rock says he got Bryan a wedding gift anyway and drops him with a Rock Bottom. Rock hits the mic one more time before leaving the ring.
(I knew this angle was going to be over after tonight. So AJ runs RAW and Smackdown? Really? Yes!Yes!Yes! I loved seeing the doctor of style and also now we call him Rev. Slick. So the Rock comes out to basically fuck up plans for the rest of the year. That means the winner of the Royal Rumble will be from Smackdown. Also means that either CM Punk will keep the title or Cena will win eventually. This was kinda bullshit to me. The stuff before the Rock was funny but not as funny seeing Kane take out a priest. )

Match#3: WWE Intercontinental Title Match - The Miz vs. Christian
Winner and New WWE Intercontinental Champion: The Miz
(The Miz is a triple crown winner. Cool. He's the new IC champ. Cool. Christian broke his ankle. Not cool. IC title lost its muster a while ago. So this is good for Miz because it means he can come on TV. It also means that Christian is off TV. Cody needs to face Miz and then the IC title can mean something again.)

Triple H is still dressed in his DX gear. He says he's had his fun so it's time to pick the intensity up. He knows Brock Lesnar is here and calls him out. Triple H wants to fight Lesnar at SummerSlam and he wants the answer right now. Lesnar's music hits and out comes Paul Heyman. Triple H wanted the horse's head not his ass, he says. Heyman admits that Lesnar is here tonight. Lesnar has authorized Heyman to answer his question now. Lesnar's answer is no. Triple H says he's tired of the crap and says maybe he will just go backstage and find Lesnar. Heyman wonders if that's really best for business but Triple H doesn't care at this point. Triple H calls Lesnar a little coward, a little bully. Triple H wonders if Lesnar is afraid of him. Heyman mocks Triple H for resorting to name calling. Heyman asks if that's what Triple H teaches his children. Triple H backs Heyman up and says not to talk about his family or his kids. Heyman apologizes and says he feels sorry for Triple H's children. Triple H moves in but out comes Stephanie McMahon to a nice pop. Stephanie gets in Heyman's face and says to never speak about her kids again. Stephanie says the lawsuits are personal and brings up his failures in WCW, ECW and WWE. Stephanie says when it comes to being a visionary, Heyman is looking in the rear-view when compared to her father Vince. Not a typo. Stephanie says Heyman's kids are ashamed of him because he's a professional parasite. Stephanie slaps Heyman. Heyman gets upset and says it's on - Triple H vs. Brock at SummerSlam. Heyman applauds and says Stephanie did it again. He fell for it - she always gets her way. Heyman brings up hrr kids again and Stephanie tackles him. Stephanie unloads on Heyman when Brock Lesnar's music hits and out he comes. Stephanie rolls out of the ring as Brock enters and spears Triple H into the corner. They brawl back and forth throwing big shots. Triple H knocks Lesnar out of the ring as the crowd goes crazy. Brock and Heyman look on from the ramp as Triple H stands in the ring. Lesnar yells for him to "f" off and they bleep it out.
(It was good to see Steph on TV. She looks hot for a woman that had two kids. I love how Steph can come out to be the bitch that she is but still be popular. We finally see Lesnar and Triple H in the ring together. Also Heyman is still the mastermind and cult leader he was in ECW. This should be a good match and I hope the angle gain some ground in the coming weeks.)

Match#4: Lita vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Lita
(DAMN! We saw APA reunite. We saw the other legends come out. Even Lita had fun doing this. Poor Heath. He has jobbed to some good names. I am sad that this is over. I hope to see something else go on with Heath Slater.)

Zack Ryder is backstage with Mean Gene Okerlund and John Cena. Ryder says Gene was behind GTV, an old angle from years ago. The Rock walks up so Gene and Ryder leave. Cena says it's been a long time. Rock wishes Cena good luck. Cena brings up The Rock and the Royal Rumble. Cena says he's cashing in tonight and will become the WWE Champion so he can get one more shot at The Great One. Rock says he can't begin to tell Cena how much he's looking forward to that. Rock wishes Cena good luck again as we go back to break.
(This was Ryder's only appearace in the show. That's sad. Mean Gene was limited. That's sad. The Rock and Cena wants to have another match. I hope this match is different because there is something gained. Like I said, The Rock is going to negate the Royal Rumble winner.)

Back from the break and out comes Kane. Kane goes to do his pyro but is interrupted by Jinder Mahal. He comes out with Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Camacho, Hunico and Drew McIntyre. They surround the ring but the lights go out and here comes The Undertaker. Taker makes his entrance to the ring as Kane looks on. The other Superstars are talking at ringside. Taker takes his hood off to reveal the same hairstyle he had at WrestleMania. Kane and Taker stare at each other. The heels hit the ring but Taker and Kane fight them off. It comes down to Hawkins and Hunico but they catch chokeslams at the same time. They do the cutthroat and scoop Hawkins and Hunico up for Tombstones. The crowd chants "this is awesome" as Taker and Kane clear the ring of Hawkins and Hunico. Taker drops to one knee and poses while his music starts. Kane stands behind him and makes the pyro go off to end the segment.
(This segment can be summed up like this: BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTIONS RULE!!!!!!!!!!! TAKER STILL GOT IT!!!!!)

Main Event: WWE Title Match - John Cena vs. CM Punk
Winner: John Cena by DQ
(After we saw a bunch of good things and also some good flashbacks we get treated to seeing the shit. Cena didn't lose. He's still money in the bank. Also Big Show will not let Cena go. This might go into SummerSlam. This was the clusterfuck I was dreading. Not only that but CM Punk might be heel. I like it because he needs to be a heel. So that means he might join forces with DB and be a two man power trip. Cena is going to be WWE champ and then we will see Super Cena become a bigger cancer than seeing the end of Awesome Truth. I guess I expect something good but I knew the clusterfuck was going to happen.)

Final Thoughts: I had to take some time to really watch this and also see if I was going to be a dick or not. I guess most of the show was good. I know some people wanted to see Johnny Ace but he's in dispose. So Raw has been on for 19 years on two different networks. Smackdown show be next to have a 1000th show but it might suck. I guess I said my peace. I guess I will wait to see what happens on Smackdown. However, I gotta still deal with the shit of TNA. Until then.

WWE Smackdown Review 7/20/12

Note: This is the show before WWE Raw 1000. I hope there is lots of hype and lots of talking about it. Also happy to see AJ marrying Bryan. That's some dumb bullshit. With that said, here's WWE Smackdown.

Opening Segment: Rey and Sheamus/ADR and Dolph have war of words. The main event is ADR/DZ vs. Sheamus and Rey.
(This might be interesting. I hope this is going to be good. I know WWE loves to fuck up their main events or worse make matches with bad endings. )

Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Hunico and Camacho vs. Primo, Epico, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston
Winners: Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Hunico and Camacho
(I did not care too much for this match because I am not a fan of the heels. Plus not trying to say more on this match because I hated it. )

Damien Sandow vs. Zack Ryder
Winner: Damien Sandow
(Poor Zack......This was sad to see Zack Ryder job to this guy. I just hate seeing Zack get fucked over. Damien is a prissy guy. I will leave it like that. )

Kane defeated Daniel Bryan
Winner: Kane by DQ
(I love watching Kane and DB wrestle. I hated the ending of this match. I really think WWE hates to make a clean match on TV. I also think that WWE wants to push dumb ass angles like AJ/DB getting married. )

Road Warrior Animal vs.  Heath Slater
Winner: Road Warrior Animal
(Nice to see Animal wrestle. I miss the Road Warriors. Nice to have a guy like Slater to job to the old men. Other than that, I cannot wait to see Raw 1000th. )

Main Event: Rey Mysterio and Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio
Winners: Rey and Sheamus by DQ
(My point was proven tonight. This match could have ended cleanly. We got a fucked up ending and we now move to Raw 1000th.  )

Final Thoughts: Raw will be three hours. Oh joy. So half of Smackdown will be on there. So I am not going to wait my time and just move on and get ready for the clusterfuck of Raw 1000th. May god have mercy on our souls. Holy shit, business is about to pick up.

TNA Impact Review 7/19/12

Note: This weeks TNA Impact will be without filler and we will stick to the matches for the BFG series. Also don't care about the Aces and Eights angle or the Claire issue. In TNA, wrestling matters not bullshit. Here's the show..........

Match#1 - Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe vs The Pope
Winner: Samoa Joe
(Good match. Nice to see something good for Joe. The Pope will be famous once the Dark Knight Rises comes out tonight. Good solid wrestling. No bullshit!)

Match#2 - Bound For Glory Series: Jeff Hardy vs Robbie E
Winner: Robbie E by count out
(This was bullshit but it was wrestling none the less. Nice to see the other guy in TNA collecting checks do some good matches. Don't care about the Jersey Shore wannabes.)

Match#3 - Bound For Glory Series: Ken Anderson vs AJ Styles
Winner: Ken Anderson
(I keep wondering why WWE gave up on Anderson. I see he puts on good matches and good work. AJ is TNA. I love watching him wrestle not speak or act. He can wrestle. I miss that.)

Match#4 - Bound For Glory Series: Rob Van Dam vs Christopher Daniels
Winner: Christopher Daniels
(Just like AJ Styles, Daniels can wrestle but he can also talk. This was a good match. RVD got paid tonight. Good work from him also. Yes I do think RVD is there just for the check. )

Match#5 - Bound For Glory Series: Bully Ray vs Brutus Magnus
Winner: Bully Ray
(I hate Bully Ray! With that said, I hope he retires soon. I would rather see someone else get his spot in the company. Magnus was jobbed. I hate that. This was total bullshit. TNA needs to let Bully Ray go so he can retire. )

Main Event: TNA World Champion Austin Aries vs Bobby Roode
Winner: Austin Aries by DQ
(This would have been a good match except for the dumb ass Aces and Eights ruined the match. I don't care about them. I care about wrestling.)

Final Thoughts: Tonight was open fight night. I don't fucking care. Wrestle! That's all I want from TNA. Don't be creative and make your fans hate your fucking product like WWE is doing now. Wrestle! I am not going to let up because I watch wrestling. Not fucked up acting from guys who can't do it right. I'm off to bed. See you all for the pre cursor to WWE Raw 1000th - WWE Smackdown.

Gene The Grappler

BTW: With Raw going to be three hours, as of Monday there will be less talk about the filler and more focus on the matches. No more filler!

WWE Raw Review 7/16/12

Note: After the shitty PPV last night, this is the 999th Raw Episode. I hope this does not suck like last night. Here's WWE Raw.

Opening Segment: CM Punk and Big Show Segment
(No Comment..........)

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
Winners: R-Truth and Kofi Kingston
(I am starting to hate the tag team division. This was a good match but just watching it now, upsets me. WWE has abandoned their tag team division. This is bad for fans that care like me. )

Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(Why? At least Ryder got on Raw but ADR is trying to hard to be the bad ass people think he is. This was a sad match to watch because I like Ryder and want to see him succeed. ADR is worse than JBL. At least JBL had more range. )

Rikishi vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Rikishi
(This was a match I didn't care for but the ending was very sad. Not only did Rikishi did the Samoan Spike but also the Bonsai Drop. In honor of Yokozuna and Umaga.)

Eve Torres and The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan and AJ
Winners: AJ and Daniel Bryan
(I am going to puke. So DB and AJ getting married? This is bullshit. Eve and Miz? I wanted to be sick watching this because this was not a good match to me. )

Jack Swagger vs. Ryback
Winner: No Contest
(Ryback is getting more hype and more matches. This is the Goldberg of the new WWE. )

Brodus Clay vs. JTG
Winner: Brodus Clay
(I don't know what's sadder to see: JTG jobbing or Brodus getting over more. Also why does he have kids in the ring with him? What the fuck is this? )

CM Punk vs. Big Show
Winner by DQ: CM Punk
(So Cena is going to cash in the contract next week. Why? Punk is going to lose the title only because WWE wants Cena to have the title and also carry WWE again. I hate this!)

Final Thoughts: Raw 999th show was a joke to me. Mostly because I am going to see angles and storylines die after next week. AJ marrying DB? Why? To make me sick. Ryback is moving on up. Why? WWE wants a new Goldberg. Heath Slater is done jobbing to legends? Nope because he's a jobber with a shitty gimmick. Finally, Cena cashes in his MITB contract next week. Why? Because WWE wants their guy to have it and spit in the face of us that love seeing Punk as champ. Good night and see you all for TNA Impact. At least their title changes were welcomed and good for them.

WWE Money In The Bank PPV 7/15/12

Note: I am going to be looking at this PPV as a good thing or the shittiest thing on PPV.

Pre Show Match: Hunico and Camacho vs. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston - Tag Team Title Match
Winners: Little Jimmy in Paradise (Truth and Kofi)
(WWE hates their tag team champions. Poor Kofi and Truth are stuck in mid card hell because Vince does not know how to book these guys. This match was proof that WWE hates their tag team titles and the people that holds them. I really hate that they keep the mexican guys because they make cool heels. I had to watch this mess. I wanted to watch TV.)

Match#1 - World Heavyweight Title Money In The Bank Match:  Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow vs. Santino Marella vs. Christian vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Tensai vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Sin Cara
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(Well it is good that he got the title contract. It is also good that he is going to get the shot. What pisses me off is that he might be the first guy to win MITB but don't get a title. Don't blame Vickie, or creative, but look in the mirror. I hope Dolph can finally get that goddamn brass ring.)

Match#2 - World Heavyweight Title Match: Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Sheamus
(ADR looked good up to the PPV. Basically ADR is a joke. Sheamus made him look like a joke tonight. This was a good match but a joke because ADR is never going to catch a break. Sheamus is going to lose the title soon but I hope ADR gets some redemption for this PPV.)

Match#3 - Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Primo and Epico
Winners:Primo and Epico
(This could have been a good match to see on Superstars but not on a PPV. Filler is what this was. I don't care about either of these teams. I also think that this was garbage.)

Match#4 - No DQ WWE Title Match: Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk
Winner: CM Punk
(This should have been the fucking main event! This was the best fucking match on the PPV. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan made this a great match to see. AJ did her part also. The angle might be shit but this match was the shit. This is going to be a match of the year candidate for me. This should have been saved for the end but CM Punk nor Bryan aren't ass kissers to Cena.)

Match#5 - Ryback vs. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks
Winner: Ryback
(Filler time.........Boring.)

Match#6 - Layla, Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka vs. Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Eve Torres
Winners: Layla, Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka
(Five seconds of tits and ass does not fill enough time to gear up for the main event. This was good for my libido but it was boring at times. I think WWE hates women's wrestling. This was dumb.)

Main Event - Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a WWE Title Shot: Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Big Show vs. John Cena vs. The Miz
Winner: John Cena
(This was a no brainer! We all knew that Cena was going to win. This was a waste of a main event. Punk/Bryan should have closed the show. Cena is going to take the belt from Punk so Vince can get his golden egg back in the spotlight. Super Cena is back in full effect.)

Final Thoughts: PUNK/BRYAN SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE FUCKING SHOW!!!!!!!! Cena winning could have been done in the middle of the fucking show. Vince hates the tag teams and divas. This was a dumb PPV with one good match. So I guess watching Raw tomorrow will be something to do. Until then, just remember that anyone can book a wrestling show but WWE shoes us how to do it wrong.

WWE Smackdown Review 7/13/12

Note: This is suppose to be the Smackdown where Zack Ryder is GM. Let's see what he does. I also hope to see something good. I am tired of seeing shit on WWE. TNA is getting better. So WWE needs to do something for the older fans. With that said, let's watch WWE Smackdown.

Opening Segment: ZackDown opens up with Zack Ryder coming out as the General Manager. He tries to get the world's biggest fist pump going with the whole crowd doing it. Alberto Del Rio comes out and runs him down. Ryder makes Sin Cara vs. Del Rio and that match is up first.
(This was not the best way for this episode to start. This was suppose to be Zack's time to shine. The match he made was a sign of a jobber match. This was bullshit.)

Match#1: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
Winner: ADR
(ADR is getting ready for Sheamus at the PPV. What's sad is that ADR is trying too hard to be a heel and he's also getting old and stale. Sheamus is also getting stale because he also has his moves of death. Not like Cena or Hogan but he's getting there.)

Match#2: Primo and Epico vs. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
Winner: Primo and Epico
(This was a lame match. We all know that the tag titles will change hands soon. Moving on.)

Match#3: Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian and Santino Marella
Winners: Rhodes and Ziggler
(This was a warm up match for the MITB PPV. This was a good match but it was bad to watch. There could have parts to be used for botchamania. Moving on. )

Match#4: Big Show quickly vs. The Great Khali
Winner: Big Show by KO
(This was lame. We have seen this match over and over. Nothing new to see here. Moving on.)

Match#5: Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks vs. Ryback
Winner: Ryback
(At least he has moved on up to guys that are on the roster. At least he is getting competition now. Now I want to see him actually do something productive. Sad to say that WWE will drop the ball with him very soon.)

Match#6: Damien Sandow vs. Justin Gabriel
Winner: Damien Sandow
(Boring as fuck..........)

Main Event: Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho - Non Title
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a great match to end the show. This could have been a match of the year candidate. The ending of the show could have been better. Why I say that? Because ADR fucked up the ending.)

Final Thoughts: The whole show was suppose to showcase Zack Ryder but was lame from the start. The matches were ok but not exciting. The ending would have been better if they ended with Sheamus winning the match then him celebrating. ADR ruined that. This was all padding for the PPV this weekend. With that said, I am going to hope for a better week of wrestling but see you all for WWE: Money In The Bank PPV.

TNA Impact Review 7/12/12

Note: I cannot wait for the TNA shows to  be taped. I hate seeing live TNA. Sorry but I think TNA needs to be taped and stop using former talent and other dumb tactics to gain fans. It is time to be serious and real. With that said, here is TNA Impact.

Opening Segment: Don't really care. I don't need a recap of the PPV. I know that Zema Ion is the X Division Champion and Austin Aries is the new TNA Heavyweight Champion.

Match#1: Bully Ray vs. Joseph Park - Anything Goes Match
Winner:  Bully Ray
(Good news is that Bully Ray is not main eventing. Better news is that this angle is going to be over soon. The only thing bad was watching this match then seeing Abyss come out for a second. )

Match#2: Rob Van Dam vs. Samoa Joe - BFG Match
Winner:  Rob Van Dam
(This was a fairly good match. Nothing really wrong with this match except Joe should have won. Most of this match was about submission and trying to get more points in the BFG series. RVD did get his pay for this week. Joe will get his points at the end. )

Match#3: X Division Champion Zema Ion vs Dakota Darsow
Winner: Zema Ion
(This was a good match. I love Ion and thankful he's the X Division Champ. That means when Jesse Sorenson comes back then he will become the new X Division Champ in 2013. )

Match#4: Brooke T. vs. Gail Kim - Knockout Title Match
Winner:  Brooke T.
(Good women's wrestling match. I wish they let Gail get her title back. Not a fan of Brooke T. )

Match#5: Kennedy vs. Kurt Angle - BFG Match
Winner:  Kurt Angle
(This could be a good match of the year candidate. No botches. This would have been a great match in WWE as well back in the day but WWE likes to make their matches shorter. This was a good match. )

Main Event: Sting and Hogan vs. The Masked Men
Winners: The Masked Men
(This was not a main event but I wished it was. This whole angle is stupid because masked men are dumb angles. Plus Sting needs to retire and time for Hogan to disappear off TV like Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff. )

Final Thoughts: I still think TNA needs to start letting more of the new guys shine and let the old men retire in peace. WWE might hire some because they need HOF candidates. See you all for Smackdown and the MITB PPV.

WWE Raw Review 7/9/12

Note: This is Raw #998. I don't care. I want to see something good. So here's Raw..............

Opening Segment: The continuation of the AJ Lee/CM Punk/Daniel Bryan love triangle.
(She's crazy as fuck. Punk is trying to be good but he's an idiot. DB is being a huge DB. This good for the WWE but sad to say that this story line will be burried after the PPV and crushed by the dumb ass 1000th Raw Show. So fucking sad.)

Match#1: Sheamus vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a warm up match for Sheamus. He's going to kill ADR for damn near killing him on SD last week. Swagger is deeply rooted in mid card hell. It was fun to watch but sad to know this was going to be a quick match. Also sad to see Swagger go down faster than a bee in a rain storm. )

Match#2: Tensai and Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyson Kidd and Christian
Winners: Tensai and Dolph Ziggler
(I don't know what was sad to see during this match: Dolph not used at all in this match or Tyson Kidd being used as a punching bag for Tensai. This was a good match but sad to watch. Most of these people are jobbers for many reasons. )

Match#3: Brodus Clay vs. Drew McIntyre
Winner: Brodus Clay
(This was a bullshit match. I say that because this was like watching a giant take on a gnat. Drew is a resident of mid card hell. Brodus is a kid favorite now. Damn you, Vince. )

Match#4: John Cena and Kane vs. Big Show and Chris Jericho
Winners by DQ: Kane and John Cena
(This was suppose to be a good match. I wanted to see this match. I have too many questions as to what the fuck was going on in this match. Also is Kane back to be in mid card hell? Why is Y2J going back to his Y2J gimmick? Is Big Show slowing down? And why the fuck is John Cena in a MITB match? I think my brain just popped.)

Match#5: Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Sin Cara
(I smell bullshit! Really? We all know that they had to fill a slot but really. Moving the fuck on.)

Impromtu Match: Heath Slater vs. Bob Backlund
Impromtu Winner: Bob Backland
(This was funny but really. What the fuck? Backlund is old a shit. Whatever. Moving on.)

Match#6: Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole
Winner: Jerry Lawler but was reversed. Michael Cole won.
(Hornswoggle was the anonomous Raw GM. That makes sense. Hornswoggle was suppose to me a McMahon. This match was bad. Bad but good. So I wanted to see this. The GM thing was an added bonus. Mystery solved.......)

Main Event: Eve Torres and Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Lee and CM Punk
Winners: CM Punk and AJ Lee
(AJ Lee is a loony bitch. Punk is trying to be a man. DB is a DB. This angle keeps getting good. Eve was an added bonus. I already said that this story line will be done and buried by the PPV.)

Final Thoughts: No matter what I said and what shocked me, this was a good show. I just think the Raw 1000th show is going to be a huge cluster fuck. I think I will be watching this show and waiting for all the shit to hit the fan. Until then we still got some good wrestling this week. TNA here we come.

TNA Destination X PPV Review 7/8/12

Note: This is going to be an interesting PPV. We have two big title matches and I hope good action. This is TNA Destination X.

Opening Segment: Repcaps........

Match#1: X Division Tournament Last Chance Qualifier: Rubix vs. Mason Andrews vs. Lars Only vs. Dakota Darsow
Winner: Mason Andrews
(I don't care. I don't care. This was boring to me.)

Match#2: X Divison Title Tournament Match: Kid Kash vs. Mason Andrews
Winner: Mason Andrews
(This was totally boring.)

Match#3: TNA X Division Tournament Match: Douglas Williams vs. Kenny King
Winner: Kenny King
(This was a wasted match on me.)

Match#4: X Division Tournament Match: Sonjay Dutt vs. Rashad Cameron
Winner: Sonjay Dutt
(I guess this was the longest and dullest match of the PPV.)

Match#5: X Division Tournament Match: Zema Ion vs. Flip Casanova
Winner: Zema Ion
(Finally, I know the winner and I like this guy.)

Match#6: TNA Bound For Glory Series: Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
Winner: Samoa Joe
(Holy shit, this was a normal match. Joe won. This is something new to see.)

Match#7: Last Man Standing Match: Daniels vs. AJ Styles
Winner: AJ Styles
(Figures that he would win after all the hell he caused the last few weeks. This would have been a better match if there was some interference. Also if Dixie Carter got involved. )

Match#8: Ultimate X: Mason Andrews vs. Zema Ion vs. Kenny King vs. Sonjay Dutt
Winner and New TNA X Division Champion: Zema Ion
(This guy should have won this title last year but then again, Zema is just like Aries and he needed this title and this push. Sad to say that the other guys were kinda of a waste. Zema is the X Division. This could have been settled in less time but the suspense was good.)

Main Event: TNA World Heavyweight Title Match: Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode
Winner and New TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Austin Aries
(HOLY SHIT! What the fuck? Aries is the TNA Champion? This is the shock of 2012. This was a good match. I actually thought that Roode was going to win. This title change was a shock to me and most people. Holy shit!)

Final Thoughts: The last four matches made this PPV worth it to see. However, this was also a long ass PPV only because of the matches for the X Division title. Aries is TNA. Zema Ion is TNA. This was the best PPV but only for the title changes. Nothing else matters.

TNA Impact Review 7/5/12

Note: I hope this is a good show. Lots of hype for the PPV this weekend. Here's the live TNA Impact.

Opening Segment: Bully Ray/Joseph Park/Abyss segment.
(Don't care.....I want to see Abyss.)

TV Title Match: Devon vs Crimson
Winner: Devon
(This was boring.........)

X Division Tournament Qualifier: Dakota Darsow vs Flip Cassanova
Winner: Flip Cassanova
(Boring............)

Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs Tara & Brooke T.
Winners: Tara & Brooke T
(Somewhat good wrestling from the women. I want to see more of this because the KO division is lacking these days. I got to see my TNA love wrestle. Thank you for coming Gail Kim.)

X Division Tournament Qualifier: Kenny King vs Lars Only
Winner: Kenny King
(Boring........)

Bound For Glory Series: James Storm vs Jeff Hardy
Winner: Jeff Hardy
(This was a good match to close the show. Sad to say it was not the end of the show. Hardy is back to normal and James Storm is going to be champ soon. Good match for the most part. )

Main Event: Hulk Hogan/Austin Aries/Bobby Roode segment.
(This was ok but wanted to see a match to end the show. This was wasted on me because the PPV is going to interesting to see. Only interesting.)

Final Thoughts: This was a boring TNA because most of it was hyping the PPV. Sorry to be short for this entry but this was boring to me for the most part. I am tired of this hype. Going to hope Smackdown will be better.

WWE Smackdown Review 7/3/12

Note: This is suppose to be the live Smackdown. I am posting this late because I had to see this again to make sure this was worthy to watch twice. Here's WWE Smackdown: Great American Bash.

Opening Segment: Don't care about recaps!

Match#1: The Great Khali and Layla vs. Antonio Cesaro and Aksana
Winners: Layla and The Great Khali
(This was really boring and slow to me. I hated this match. Boring.......)

Match#2: Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Christian
Winner: Cody Rhodes
(So he gets a chance to be a contender but he can't win the IC title back? I don't know if I am confused or just wishing for more ideals for the IC title belt and also contenders for the title. This was an ok match.)

Match#3: Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(This was a good match to see because Ziggler needed this push. I am #heelziggler fan but love to see him ditch Vickie ASAP. This match was good only for Ziggler.)

Match#4: Santino Marella, Sgt. Slaughter and Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Drew McIntyre, Hunico, Camacho
Winners: Santino Marella, Sgt. Slaughter and Hacksaw Jim Duggan
(This was dumb. I don't really care for this match. This was a channel changer match.)

Match#5: Curt Hawkins vs. Ryback
Winner: Ryback
(At least he's done with jobbers but now he's moved on to guys we know exist in the WWE. Funny as fuck to watch.)

20-Man Great American Bash Battle Royal
Winner: Zack Ryder
(The only reason why I loved this match was because Ryder won. I also love the ending. Kane vs. Ryder and Ryder got the win. Also love the whole Zackdown show and the new GM for a day. This was a good boost for Ryder.)

Final Thoughts: This was a good show. I will hope next week is better. Not going to say much else. See you guys for the TNA PPV and WWE Raw.

WWE Raw Review 7/2/12

Note: I don't care what show this is. I don't care how long til 1000. I care if I will see good wrestling. WWE to me means World Wrestling Entertainment. I focus on wrestling. Fuck the drama unless it is worth it. I will be skipping the drama. Here's WWE Raw.

Opening Segment: Cena talks about last week. Daniel Bryan comes out interrupt. CM Punk appears and heads to the ring.  Chris Jericho's music interrupts and out he comes. Then, Kane comes out. Show comes in and goes at it with Cena. Show grabs for a chokeslam but Kane makes the save. Show fights Kane off and headbutts him. Everyone is laid out except Big Show. Show leaves everyone laying and walks up the ramp.
()

Match#1: Cody Rhodes, David Otunga, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Christian, Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston
Winners: Christian, Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston
(This would have been a good match if most of the heels didn't leave. Otunga is on a slow train back to mid card hell. Cody is a punk. The NXT boys are pussies. Nothing else to say. )

Match#2: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
Winner: No Contest
(Why? I wanted to see this match. ADR is in a pissy mood. So we got fucked put of a good match. Sin Cara can't get a break. Why does he even exist in WWE? ADR is going to be champ soon but damn really. Not like this. )

Match#3:  Sheamus and AJ Lee vs. Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero
Winners: AJ Lee and Sheamus
(This was funny to watch but sad to see. The men were doing the work. The ladies got the glory. AJ can wrestle. She's not a girl but a psycho woman. Vickie got the shit kicked out of her. This was a good match but funny to see. )

Match#4: Heath Slater vs. Doink the Clown
Winner: Heath Slater
(The only good thing about this match was seeing DDP come out afterwards to give Heath a vicious Diamond Cutter. This was Heath's gimmie match for losing to the other old timers.)

Match#5: No DQ Match - Kane vs. Big Show
Winner: Big Show
(Seeing these men wrestle makes me happy. Regardless of what's going on, these big men can wrestle and brawl. This was a good match only because both can show off their talent. I hope these men can show the world what they still got at the PPV. )

Match#6: Tyson Kidd vs. Tensai
Winner: Tyson Kidd
(This.........was...........stupid.............!)

Main Event: Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk and John Cena
Winners: No Contest
(No comment.....see my final thoughts.)

Final Thoughts: AJ stole the show. The main event was stolen from the fans because AJ wanted to be a bitch. I like it. I loved the fact that we will see Brock at the 1000th show. Speak of the the 1000th show, I hope it is worth the hype. This was a good WWE Raw for me but the weeks leading to 1000 will upset me more. See you all for WWE Smackdown - Great American Bash 2012.
