WWE Smackdown Review 7/11/14

Note: Rather to just repeat what I usually say at the end of the week, let's do something different. We always start the reviews with what happened but the sad thing is that WWE Smackdown is just a repeat of all the other shows. Only these matches are on TV. Even though we are watching this on a station that is for Sci-Fi shows and movies, sometimes WWE Smackdown does make up shit as they go along. So here we go with the epic bottom feeding show, WWE Smackdown...

Match#1: Cameron vs. AJ Lee
Winner: AJ Lee
(I wanted to know what was the point of this match. To see who would get a title shot at AJ Lee after she faces Paige or the slow split of Cameron and Naomi. Why was AJ Lee brought back to WWE if she was not the main point of this match? I mean I love seeing AJ Lee in good matches but this was not a good match. Cameron and Naomi splitting is good but also bad because we will see this again during the Total Divas show.)

Match#2: Adam Rose vs. Fandango
Winner: Adam Rose by Count Out
(To be honest, I lost interest in this match. Not because Adam Rose who is growing on me because we need more lively characters in the WWE. It was Fruit-Tang-Oh. I don't care about him or his bullshit. I guess because he is just a jobber with a gimmick. Next match, please....)

Match#3: Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil vs. The Usos
Winners: The Usos
(I will just move on because this was just stupid to watch and I couldn't bear to think this was a legit match.)

Match#4: Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Randy Orton
(The above match was just bad. This was just a big waste of nostalgia because we saw this match back in the early 2000's. This was back when RKO was fresh and Y2J was epic. This was more so a trip down memory lane. Next...)

Match#5: Layla vs. Summer Rae
Fandango - Special Referee
Winner: No Contest
(This was basic filler. I don't want to go into details nor want to go into this bullshit. )

Match#6: Goldust vs. Ryback
Winner: Goldust
(This was a decent match. I am starting to think more matches that would be seen on WWE Main Event or WWE Superstars can been seen on here. Good thing, this was also a way to showcase Stardust and the feud with Ryback and Curtis Axel. I know Goldust can make good matches and this was close to that. )

Match#7: Bo Dallas vs. Diego and El Torito - Handicap Match
Winner: Bo Dallas
(Bo Dallas and Fandango are going head to head with who I don't want to see. At least Fandango cannot wrestle and Bo Dallas can but is limited because WWE is scared to show off the younger talent. Time to end this shit!!!!)

Main Event: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns
Winner: Roman Reigns by DQ
(Why was RKO wrestling Y2J if he is feuding with Roman Reigns? I rather see a match with them then split them in different matches. Plus we all know that Rusev is a jobber killer like Ryback use to be. This match was not completely pointless but not seeing a title match is. Roman Reigns was not responsible for this match or bad ending to the show. That's WWE as a whole. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: This was not a bad show as a whole but for two hours, there was maybe two matches that was ok and two matches that could have been better. The rest was shit. I miss the Smackdown when it was a different show. The whole reason for WWE to have a second show was to be different. This non branding is killing WWE Smackdown. Even with the WWE App being used to see all the taped backstage segments, it was just hard to watch. See you all for WWE Raw.

TNA Impact Review 7/10/14 - Championship Showcase

Note: So this is basically a championship edition of TNA Impact. This is interesting because TNA is good at showcasing their titles. At least TNA makes sure people know who their champs are. WWE only focuses on the main titles. Also it is going to be interesting because this is a taped show and I avoided spoilers. I am watching this and WWE NXT at the same time. However, the NXT reviews won't be up until the end of the month. NXT is getting a monthly review. So let's watch this special TNA show. Here is TNA Impact - Championship Showcase Edition.....

Match#1: The Wolves vs. Magnus and Bram - TNA Tag Team Title Match
Winners: The Wolves
(I would say this was a good match but this was very one sided. I only say that because Bram and Magnus was slow at times. Plus, this was just a way to make The Wolves look good. I was so happy to see this end because I was bored to tears. Not a bad match but then again, TNA needs more tag teams not two guys put together. Next match please.....)

Match#2: Austin Aries vs. Sanada - X Division Title Match
Winner: Austin Aries - New X Division Champion
(My god, this was what I missed. A good X Division match with a good ending. Nothing against Sanada but the whole storyline with him was getting old and very lame. We know that the Japanese love wrestling but he was basically doomed to fail. He can wrestle but don't give him a mike and speak. As for Aries, he is just more so a big name in TNA. He can win any title and make it look good. He created Option C for Destination X and he will prove it again soon. )

Match#3: Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love vs. Brittany - Fatal 4 Way for the TNA KO Title
Winner: Gail Kim
(Unlike WWE with the Divas, TNA does have better women's matches. I might not like Angelina Love, Velvet Sky or Madison Rayne but they can make a good match. Also seeing Brittany was good. Gail Kim is the queen of TNA. This was her night. I will admit that aside from Gail Kim, Brittany is getting better. Too bad she is in an angle like Mickie James was back in WWE. Thank you TNA for this.)

Main Event: 20 Man Battle Royal for the #1 Contendership for the TNA Heavyweight Title
Winner: Jeff Hardy not Willow
(I will admit that this was not what I wanted to see but for those who really like TNA, this was good. I wanted someone who is on Lashley's level to win this but Hardy is ok. I really cannot say much else because Hardy is like Yawn Cena in WWE. This was not boring but the ending was predictable. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: The ending was lame and weak but the whole show was good for the most part. I got to see a good X Division match and a very decent KO Title match. I will admit that not seeing Lashley defend the title was bad but then again, it could have been done better. Basically, TNA did a good job to be competitive but sadly TNA also dropped the ball with having Hardy come out of his other gimmick just to job to Lashley. We will see. See you all for WWE Smackdown...

WWE Raw Review 7/7/14

Note: New week and we are going into another WWE PPV coming up. One more then we get the summer extravaganza known as Summer Slam. It is hard to keep up with all the PPVs that WWE comes up with that isn't the original four. So as we get into the new week, I know there will not be any mention of Emma being arrested for larceny or Santino announcing his retirement. Also there will not be any Real Americans because Swagger can't leave the USA. As for what's going on for this upcoming PPV, well at least the odds for Yawn Cena to lose the titles will be better than 50/50. So let's watch WWE Raw and hope for something good....

Match#1: Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. The Usos
Winners: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
(I have come to the decision that these matches with these teams are building up to the PPV. So rather to say things like this was boring or wonder how many times I want to see this match during the four weeks leading into the PPV, I will look at it like this: Warming up to the PPV. This was better because as we all found out this week that all matches in WWE will be more aggressive. So no more bullshit. We are going to where it was watchable. So this was not bad but this was not good either. Next match please. )

Match#2: Alicia Fox vs. Nikki Bella
Winner: No Contest
(In a way, I am glad it did not have a winner. This just proves that Alicia Fox is trying too damn hard to be hated. Also the psycho woman gimmick is stale. Also, why is Nikki Bella on TV? Shouldn't she be off TV like her sister? Oh wait, she is still fucking with Yawn Cena. Nevermind but thank you Alicia Fox for the effort in trying to be like Stone Cold. )

Match#3: Rusev vs. Rob Van Dam
Winner: Rusev
(I did not care for this match. I was watching Lana. Why? She is fucking hot and at least she can hold my attention. This match was done because Swagger can't leave the USA. So basically, their feud will pick up in a couple of days during the next Raw in the USA. This was bullshit...NEXT!!!!!)

Match#3: Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose
Winner: Randy Orton
(This just proves that Dean Ambrose is going to be mid carding for years. This was a rare squash match for RKO. This was good to watch but that is because the action picked up. I will just move on because there was not a lot I can say to make this match more than what I said it was. Sad to see Dean Ambrose get jobbed. Moving along....)

Match#4: Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(I won't wasted time with this match because there is no point. How many times can you see these men wrestle? This is worst that seeing paint dry or water boil. I love Ziggler but at least give him someone he can wrestle with not someone that is stagnant. NEXT!!!!)

Match#5: Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Sheamus
(I don't know what was worse: Seeing Sandow act like HBK or seeing Bret Hart punch him out. Then after that, he had to job to Sheamus. My god, this was just a big fuck you to Damien Sandow. Moving on from this sad excuse of a match....)

Match#6: The Miz vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Chris Jericho
(This was good. This was better to watch. Y2J is good and so is Miz. This is a side feud because we all know that we will see Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt at the PPV. This was a good match and at least this was not boring. I am starting to think WWE Raw needs to go back to two hours because the middle hour and most of the last hour gets bland. )

Match#7: Cameron and Naomi vs. AJ Lee and Paige
Winners: Paige and AJ Lee
(I will admit that this was the time I used to basically stop watching as a reviewer and saw this for what this was: FAP Time. I did not care that Paige and AJ Lee are going to have a rematch because it will be on the PPV. I don't care if Cameron and Naomi are splitting. I just saw four women bouncing around. Next week, I will be objective. Moving along with the show....)

Match#8: Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston
Winner: Kofi Kingston
(Why bother having Kofi win when Cesaro is going to beat him like a stepchild? I loved the after match beatdown than the match because it was like who wanted to see Kofi win wanted to see him get the shit beaten out of him. I will say that is very sadistic and evil. I loved it. )

Match#9: El Torito vs. Bo Dallas
Winner: Bo Dallas
(All I will comment on is why is WWE trying to make him a star. Bo Dallas is a joke. El Torito is a joke. This match was a joke. I want to call bullshit but it won't help. This was beyond bullshit. Time to end the show because it is getting to the end of this review as well. )

Main Event: John Cena vs. Seth Rollins
Winner: No Contest
(Why? Really, WWE? No point in commenting on this match because the whole thing is setup for the main event of the PPV. I am just going to end the review because I just think it is sad to see the young guys be used to mask the rematch no one wants to see again: Yawn Cena vs RKO. At least Roman Reigns was there at the end. Time to end the review....)

Final Thoughts: Like I said after WWE Money In The Bank PPV, I only watch to see everyone else but Yawn Cena. I actually changed the channel before the main event started because I knew either Yawn Cena would win or it would not have a winner to begin with. So with that said, this was an ok show for the whole except for the ending with Yawn Cena. Bret Hart was a good thing to see but don't care much for the shit with Damien Sandow. I will just say the PPV for this weekend is looking good but the title match is going to be interesting because we all know that Yawn Cena is going to win then showcase the SummerSlam PPV. So with that said, see you all for TNA Impact....

WWE Smackdown Review 7/4/14 - Holiday Edition

Note: Well it is the 4th of July, and like a lot of Americans we are all on vacation/holiday mode. So I don't expect to see a lot of action in this show because this will be more focused on the military and full of ads for the WWE Network and also various DVDs coming out. So let's what this special episode of WWE Smackdown...

Match#1: Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio - US Title Match
Winner: Sheamus
(Please forgive me in this but since this is my opinion, this is going to be honest. WHY ARE WE SEEING THIS MATCH?????? When one of these men had the WHC title, it was interesting. When these men were fighting to be #1 contenders for a title, that was interesting. This is different! Why? It is because neither man is from the U.S. and this is for the U.S. title. Sheamus as US champion is a joke because he is not American or billed from the US. The match was good but just why. Also even though it is a holiday, this was more like a joke. )

Match#2: Bo Dallas vs. Diego
Winner: Bo Dallas
(For over 30 years, I have watched some weird matches. Seeing matches with Boggeyman and Papa Shango was weird. Watching Goldust back in the day was weird. This was weird in a new way. So we ran out of people for Bo Dallas to face? Also why is Los Matadores still a team? Why is El Torito still working? This was so bad that I changed the channel to watch a kids cartoon just to erase this match out of my memory. However, we will see this shit again on Monday. Next!!!!!)

Match#3: Big E vs. Cesaro
Winner: No Contest
(I wish this match had a winner. This was not even filler. This was just a good match being fucked over. I am tired of seeing good matches go to shit because WWE is trying to make the fast edits and give the main event more time. Again, we will see this match on Monday.)

Match#4: Eva Marie vs. AJ Lee
Winner: AJ Lee
(I feel so sorry for AJ Lee to have had to wrestle Eva Marie. Eva Marie is not a wrestler. She is still very green. She needs to go back to NXT. At least Jojo did because she was written off Total Divas. Eva Marie is just a train wreck with a bunch of TNT added. I love a redhead but she is not even a natural one. She is nice to look at but don't let her speak. As for AJ Lee, this was like a cakewalk. She came in, she made a woman tap, she leaves. Paige was at ringside but this is just a blip. )

Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose
Winner: Dean Ambrose by DQ
(This should have been more like Dean vs. Seth. No point in adding RKO because at this point he is a joke. Let Seth and Dean fight and we will see what two guys who can wrestle do for WWE. That match is going to be epic. This match was boring because RKO is back to being stale and lame. I can make a better match for RKO on PS3/PS4 with WWE 2K13 or 2K14. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: Well like I said, this was a holiday show. There was heat for WWE Raw but nothing new or relevant. I just want to know why they changed Big E. into a preacher and why now is Jack Swagger a face not a heel. Basically without a title or some seperation from WWE Raw, this is basically rematches from WWE Raw. So I am going to enjoy my holiday. Hopefully, next week we can get back to business. See you all for WWE Raw.

TNA Impact Review 7/3/14

Note: Well I will admit that I had to see the spoilers seeing that TNA basically taped shows through August. So that means my reviews of TNA program might be more critical and also rant like. It is going to be interesting to see how TNA can basically promote shows and PPVs without people knowing and also how the storylines can continue without someone getting injured or worse. By the way, most of these matches might not be in order but these are the matches for this show. So let's see how this close to the holiday edition goes. Here is TNA Impact....

Match#1: The Wolves vs. Knux and Crazzy Steve vs. Robbie E. and Zema Ion
Winners: The Wolves
(This was a big clusterfuck. Holy shit, I haven't said that in a long while. Why did I say that? Because this match had too many things going on. One thing was that I was just stunned as to seeing everything in one match. Unlike The Usos in WWE, The Wolves are basically in TNA to help the division. This was not helping. I did not care for the present storyline with Knux and crew. I am waiting for BroMans to go away for good. Not the best way to start the show. )

Match#2: Bobby Roode vs. Kenny King - Street Fight
Winner: Bobby Roode
(This was a weird thing to watch. That's because seeing Bobby Roode as a face is something to witness live. I still think he is only trying to weasel into the title picture. As for Kenny King, he is a X Division guy not a mid carder. I don't want to see him in the mid card or trying to be in the main event. He is not ready. However, this match was weird because it wasn't a match but a fight of sorts. I loved the action but just looked weird to me. )

Match#3: Ethan Carter III vs. Bully Ray - Tables Match
Winner: Ethan Carter III
(So how many more times will we see a tables match with Bully Ray? I am not tired of the match but tired of the people in it. Plus adding Rhyno to come in to help EC3 was good but why? So we got a heel Rhyno but why only him? I mean if Dreamer coming in last week was not heel but Rhyno is. That confused me. This match was typical until Rhyno came in. By the way, I know he changed the spelling of his name but I rather stick to the way I am use to it. )

Match#4: Gail Kim vs. Angelina Love - KO Title Match
Winner: Gail Kim
(This just proves that WWE and TNA watch each other programs. Why? AJ Lee comes back to WWE and wins the Divas Title. So guess what? Gail Kim just happens to win the KO Title on the same week. The only difference is that Gail Kim did not leave to rest. AJ Lee did. Plus in TNA, Gail Kim is better and can do more. AJ Lee is stuck. Main event time....)

Main Event: Bobby Lashley vs. Eric Young - TNA Heavyweight Title Match
Winner: Bobby Lasley
(I was going to go into a long rant about comparing Bobby Lashley vs Yawn Cena as champions but it would make me think I am back in 2007 or 2008. I do like Lashley but it is hard to like someone that is one dimensional. Yawn Cena is the same way but the thing is that his character got stale when WWE went PG. Lashley is getting stale because he will not have any real competition until he faces Samoa Joe. EY is going to be on TV doing his other show and we will see him come back to the X Division. So this match was not boring but just predictable. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: I have said that most times that TNA backstage is better than the matches or the show itself. I think this is one of those shows. I like that Earl Hebner is back as a referee. I have excepted that Angle is only going to be a mouthpiece until he is back to wrestling. Most of TNA is either about who is running it or who is champion. Other than that, it sucks to me because I love the X Division but there is no matches in that division. Hopefully I am wrong in the coming weeks. See you all for WWE Smackdown.

WWE Raw Review 6/30/14

Note: After what was suppose to be a good PPV until the end, this is going to be a interesting show. If you don't know, I am not a fan of this version on Yawn Cena. I was a fan but WWE had to change him to appease the kids that watched. Also not a fan of putting over older talent just to make sure people know who to cheer for. Basically, last night's PPV was good but Yawn Cena killed my joy in that. So let's watch WWE Raw and hope something will make me feel better....

Match#1: Seth Rollins vs. Rob Van Dam
Winner: Seth Rollins
(I like this Seth Rollins. I have been getting use to him being the new guy in Evolution/The Authority. His matches are getting better and hopefully he will be a main eventer not a mid carder. As for RVD, well it is sad to say he has not changed. This was a good match to start the show but only because RVD finally got someone in the roster that can make him look good and bad at the same time. I also love that after the match, Ambrose is still making it his business to make Rollins life hell. So far so good. )

Match#2: The Usos and Sheamus vs. The Wyatt Family
Winners: The Wyatt Family
(Can I be totally honest here? As much as I love the Usos, it is time to either drop the titles or go heel. Either way is good for the WWE. Watching this match was like watching guys act like Yawn Cena. Sheamus is still US Champ, why? I think it is sad that a title like that is being misued. This match was ok but then again, Wyatt Family is gaining some steam and hopefully they will have some gold soon. )

Match#3: Nikki Bella vs. Cameron and Naomi - Handicap Match
Winners: Cameron and Naomi
(Do I care that a Bella was beaten? Fuck no! I do hate that the black girls are about to break up. Of course, when they break up a black tag team, one gets fired and the other one sucks. So we will see on who is who. As for this match, I can say it was bearable only because Cameron and Naomi made it watchable. )

Match#4: Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston
Winner: Kofi Kingston
(Someone told me that sometimes it is better to find fault before making changes. Kofi winning is a change but I cannot answer why. Cesaro is suppose to be the new guy to get a title shot. It is sad that Bad News Barrett lost his title but it makes me wonder why WWE is enforcing this title shit now. I remember as a kid that most of the titles were held for years even without being defended for several PPVs. I guess Vince is tired of people bitching about not seeing title matches. As for this match, this is going to be a good IC title match soon. This was meh....)

Match#4: The Great Khali vs. Damien "McMahondow" Sandow
Winner: The Great Khali
(No comment. Next match, please!!!!!!)

Match#5: Fandango vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(I don't like Flame-Bore-O but love Ziggler. This kid needs a title shot soon. He is going to be ok. This match proves that Ziggler is going to be a mid carder but also a champion soon. I want to say that seeing Summer Rae make out with Ziggler was good for TV. Also good was seeing Ziggler make the lame gimmick got down. This made up for the above bullshit. )

Match#6: Stardust and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel
Winners: Stardust and Goldust
(This was a good match. I have said my peace about Stardust and Goldust. Still think Ryback and Curtis Axel is a joke. Next match, please......)

Match#7: AJ Lee vs. Paige - WWE Divas Title Match
Winner: AJ Lee - New WWE Divas Champion
(This was basically what the fans wanted. Why? Because Paige is good in the ring but cannot speak or make a good promo. Also it is funny that as soon as AJ came out we got the loudest CM Punk chants. I don't believe she is married to him or is pregnant with this kid. However, she is back to give us good matches and a better feud with the Total Divas. She came, she won, she is champion again. Too bad this was not the main event. Time for Yawn Cena...)

Main Event: Roman Reigns and John Cena vs. Kane and Randy Orton
Winners by DQ: John Cena and Roman Reigns
(Well I will admit that the after match bullshit was better than the match. Why? Simply because this was a setup for Seth to cash in the MITB contract. I know I did not mention this during his match but was not thinking. Basically like I said, this was a setup for Seth to get the title. However, Ambrose did what he said he would do. So the ending was better than the match. Only because the young guys made it better. Time to wrap this up.)

Final Thoughts: I will admit that I don't care for the title until Yawn Cena loses at SummerSlam PPV. As for the rest of the show, most of the show was filled with people that came back to make us happy. The Miz is back just to job to Y2J. Then Y2J jobs to Bray Wyatt which was good for the fans. AJ Lee has her title back. That's good. So we will see if CM Punk comes back. Basically, this show helped me forget that Yawn Cena is back to being the asshole I hate. See you all for TNA Impact...

WWE Money In the Bank PPV 6/29/14

Note: Well it is time to see if the IWC is right or if people will be shocked to see who is champion and see who is going to be champion. Also hoping that most of the matches will not be just regular matches on PPV. I will be honest as say that this PPV is something I dread watching because if the IWC is right, I might have to stop watching WWE. I hope they are wrong. Time to watch WWE Money In The Bank PPV...

Match#1: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs. The Usos - WWE Tag Team Title Match
Winners: The Usos
(Why do they make their matches look decent on TV but better on the PPVs? I have been flip flopping on this because it is hard for me to actually enjoy this match. I want to see The Usos win but change their gimmicks or The Wyatt Family win and we get to see something new. This was a good match but we will see if this could change. )

Match#2: Naomi vs. Paige - WWE Divas Title Match
Winner: Paige
(Well I don't have anything good to say about this match because the build up to this was lame at best. Also seeing that Paige don't say much and we all know that Cameron and Naomi are splitting soon, this was so bad but the only good thing was seeing this match on PPV and be longer than three seconds. Next match, please.....)

Match#3: Adam Rose vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Adam Rose
(This was the saddest thing to see on PPV. Why? This just proves that Sandow is about to be fired or jobbed to death. Actually seeing him lose to Zack Ryder would be sadder. This was just to see Adam Rose and his people party. However, it was better to see this than the divas title match. )

Match#4: Seth Rollins vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose - Money In the Bank Contract Ladder Match
Winner: Seth Rollins - MITB Contract Holder
(This was the best match of the night! This just proves that the younger talent is better than the older talent. We got to see a good old fashioned ladder match with men that can show off what they can do. I loved this match because it made me see who is ready for the main event and who is happy in the mid card. Rollins won because of Kane but we will get to see some good matches from Rollins and Ambrose soon. )

Match#5: Stardust and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel
Winners: Stardust and Goldust
(This is a story of two teams but they have a different effect on me. Ryback and Curtis Axel bored me to no end. Stardust and Goldust is fresh and exciting. Also it is good to see Cody do something different. Basically, this was a good match to watch but only because of the new character in Stardust. )

Match#6: Rusev vs. Big E
Winner: Rusev
(This is still going on. Why? This is one of those matches we use to see back in the day with Hogan and Nikola Volkoff. So I am going to move on with the next match. )

Match#7: Summer Rae vs. Layla
Fandango - Special Referee
Winner: Layla
(This is the match before the main event. Why? This is basically a lovers brawl. Summer Rae is the ex girlfriend and Layla is the current girlfriend with Hot Pants in the middle. This could have been done on WWE Raw. So basically, this was stupid. Time to end the show. )

Main Event: Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane - Ladder Match for the Vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title
Yawn Cena - New WWE World Heavyweight Title
(I had a smile on my face but lost my smile when Yawn Cena won. This could have been done better but WWE is back to catering to the kids. So, let's wrap this up. )

Final Thoughts: This was a good PPV except for the ending. Why? Well it is that time when I care for the mid card before I give a damn that Yawn Cena is champion. This PPV does need to be changed because it is time for this to go back to being a match at Wrestlemania. I think it is better for this to be a different PPV. See you for WWE Raw.

WWE Smackdown Review 6/13/14 - Friday The 13th Edition

Note: This is going to be a very interesting show. Seeing that WWE just released a lot of wrestlers yesterday and some will be on WWE TV it will fit into this special episode. Today is Friday the 13th and Smackdown is going to be filled with scary and unpredictable things. So time to watch WWE Smackdown...

Match#1: Roman Reigns vs. Bad News Barrett
Winner: No Contest
(Even though the official last sighting on 3MB together was on a recent episode of WWE Superstars, this is the last sighting of 3MB as a whole. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal are gone from WWE and Heath Slater needs a new gimmick. Before, I go there, as for this match, this would have been a good match for the IC title. Why? It is because Reigns is not going to be a mid carder forever and because he is going to be big. So this would have been a great match for a PPV. We will see this again soon for the IC title. As for 3MB, good bye and thank you for leaving like the jokes you are. )

Match#2: Erick Rowan vs. Jey Uso
Winner: Erick Rowan
(This was watching a bully beat the shit out of a small kid. Even though Jey Uso is not a weak kid but the damage he took was brutal. Sell or no sell, it was harsh to watch this match. Ususally, I would change the channel but this was not a typical match. This could be bigger once the tag titles are on the line and also we see change in the tag team division. )

Match#3: Bo Dallas vs. R-Truth
Winner: Bo Dallas
(This was close to being boring. I think R-Truth is going to be heel again soon. I cannot wait for the return of Little Jimmy. Bo Dallas is basically like Bray Wyatt except he is annoying not creepy. This was not a good match but Bo Dallas needs to be something else aside from being annoying. )

Match#4: Sheamus vs. Cesaro
Winner: Cesaro
(This was a good match. I am actually shocked because it is now a feud with these two. It is weird to have a feud with the U.S. title. I will refrain from my constant questioning as to why Sheamus is the U.S. champion but still comes from Ireland? As for Cesaro, he needs to win a title soon because his popularity is not getting better with Heyman as his manager. This was a good match because these guys can wrestle and can put on a show. Regardless of how Sheamus acts like Cena most times.)

Match#5: Adam Rose vs. Fandango
Winner: Adam Rose
(So Summer Rae became a rosebud, cool. I don't talk about F-lame-mo bt will say that Adam Rose is growing on me. I only say that because being British only goes two ways in wrestling: the asshole or the cool Brit. I will be moving on. )

Match#6: Big E vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Big E
(This was so confusing that I will not even speak about it. I feel like I went back to 1985. Almost done with the review. )

Match#7: Alicia Fox vs. Aksana
Winner: Alicia Fox
(Aksana was another wrestler that was let go this week. So it was weird to see her get beaten but someone I think should have been fired. Aksana did fuck up Naomi's eye and that was probably why she was let go. This match was weird but it is nice to see Alicia is trying to be something she is not. AJ Lee is crazy but Alicia Fox is just trying too hard. Main Event Time....)

Main Event: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose - Money In The Bank Qualifying Match
Winner: Bray Wyatt
(This was the best match of the night. This might be a rare thing on WWE Smackdown but this was the match of the night. I know I am repeating myself but it was good. Dean Ambrose is just that damn good. Bray Wyatt does a better job with this match than anything with Cena. Seth Rollins did make an appearance and was effective in the assist to Wyatt. Good way to end the show. )

Final Thoughts: It was weird to see former WWE wrestlers on their last official show but it was good to see 3MB and Aksana go out like they did. As for the show as a whole, it was not a good show but it was not the typical bullshit we get from WWE Smackdown. So I guess we are going to get some better shows on here or some shitty ones. Either way, WWE needs to do something with this show. See you all for WWE Raw.....

TNA Impact Review 6/12/14

Note: This is the show before the PPV this weekend. I think TNA is not doing a good job with promoting their PPVs or other programming. This will be an interesting show because if my math is right, there is barely enough on this card to make a good PPV. I might be wrong. Here we go with TNA Impact before TNA Slammaversary...

Match#1: Eric Young vs. Bobby Lashley
Winner: Bobby Lashley
(Watching this match was like watching old school Bobby Lashley in WWE. This was like watching a jobber match. Eric Young is the TNA Champion but was looking like a jobber getting schooled. Bobby Lashley is better as a wrestler but does have some good qualities outside the ring. As long he does not speak, we are good. So EY lost this match but he is not done for tonight. )

Match#2: Robbie E vs Knux
Winner: Knux
(There was a match in all this fucking craziness. I am not a fan of the gimmick Knux have. This was pointless to me. So let's move on to the next match....)

Match#: Eric Young vs. Kenny King
Winner: Eric Young
(Kenny King is a good wrestler but this was more so a better match for EY. This was more so the pace of wrestling for EY. Kenny King was doing his thang but this was EY's match to win. I will also say this was more so an X Division type of match. I just wish we will see an actual X Division match tonight. )

Match#: Brittany vs. Madison Rayne vs. Gail Kim - #1 Contender for the KO Title
Winner: Gail Kim
(I am happy to see my TNA crush get another title show. I really cannot explain why I am in love with Gail Kim except for the fact that she can wrestle and also is the queen of TNA. Brittany is going to be a good wrestler. She should not adopt the Mickie James creepy KO role but if she does, she should pick someone else to obsess about. Great match thanks to Gail Kim and also the interference of The Beautiful People. Main Event Time....)

Winner: Main Event: MVP vs. Eric Young
Winner: Eric Young by DQ
(EY lost the battle but won something at the end. We will see a steel cage title match. Unlike in WWE where we will see someone break in the cage or come under the cage, TNA cage matches are unique in nature. As for this match, well it was leaked out on the internet that MVP is out of the main event for the title but there will be a triple threat match. Also taping shows does fuck up live shows. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: I don't pay for any wrestling PPVs. If I was to pay for TNA Slammaversary, I would want my full refund after seeing the opening match. This show did setup the PPV but like I said, MVP is out of the title match. One thing that kills me is the shitty X Division match at this PPV and the match with the Von Erichs debuting on TNA. Why? No build up. See you all for WWE Smackdown and also TNA Slammaversary PPV...

WWE Raw Review 6/9/14

Note: As with all shows, I hope for good things. Since we always start with WWE Raw, it shouldn't be said for a good show. This is going to be a good week because I hope for a good week of wrestling each week. WWE is gearing up for MITB PPV and hopefully it is going to be good. We got one match last week on WWE Smackdown so tonight we will get more good matches for this PPV. So here we go with WWE Raw...

Match#1: Bad News Barrett vs. Sheamus - Money In the Bank Qualifying Match
Winner: Sheamus
(For some reason, this was a good way to start the show. Even though both of these men have the mid card titles, this was basically what I like to see in an opening match. I ignored the titles and saw these men wanted to be a part of the MITB PPV. I will admit that even though Barrett is perfect as the IC champ, Sheamus as U.S. champ baffles me. How does a man from Ireland become the U.S. champion? Only Vince knows...)

Match#2: Zack Ryder vs. Rusev
Winner: Rusev
(This was so much of a jobber match that it was sad to see Ryder do the job for this big man. All I know is that I cannot watch Rusev wresle without seeing Lana. I am sorry but Lana has a nice ass and she is hot as fuck. Lame gimmick for both of them but Lana could read the phone book in Russian and I will be happy. Moving on...)

Match#3: Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. Goldust and R-Truth
Winners: Ryback and Curtis Axel
(Cody Rhodes needs to be on TV wrestling. This whole angle with him leaving his brother with these shitty tag team partners is getting old. We all know that we will see Cody vs. Goldust at SummerSlam. This was awful to watch, so moving on....)

Match#4: The Usos vs. Fandango and Damien Sandow
Winners: The Usos
(The Usos need competetion. This was bullshit. Moving on....)

Match#5: Xavier Woods vs. Bo Dallas
Winner: Bo Dallas
(Yawn....boring. Next match. )

Match#6: Cesaro vs. Rob Van Dam - Money In the Bank Qualifying Match
Winner: Cesaro
(This makes up for the boring match prior to this one. This was good. Cesaro is basically going to be a title contender. He is what WWE wants and what the fans need right now. RVD is just there to help the young talent get over. Unlike in TNA where he was there for a check. )

Match#7: Paige vs. Alicia Fox
Winner: Paige
(One word sums up this feud: weird. Paige is getting heat because she was just given the title because AJ Lee wanted time off. Paige is a good wrestler but she is losing the fans because her feuds are shit. This is just a weird thing because Alicia Fox is not crazy but she is trying to be. I love how Paige wins and get nervous seeing Alicia Fox lose her shit. Next!!!!)

Match#8: Jack Swagger vs. Santino Marella
Winner: Jack Swagger
(I did not watch this match at all. Why? I feel like this was filler for the main event. Usually that is what the Divas matches are. This was bullshit. So let's end this show. )

Main Event: John Cena, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper
Winners: John Cena, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
(I will not speak about Yawn Cena but will speak on the other players in this match. This was a good match even better without Yawn Cena getting involved. Reigns and Ambrose will be a good tag team. There might not be no more Shield but at least all three men are moving on. This match proves it. Reigns is getting better and Ambrose is the loose cannon we miss on WWE TV. The Wyatt Family is better off with a new person to feud with. We all know that Yawn Cena is going to bury anyone that takes his spotlight. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: I think Reigns and Ambrose are on their way to the main event. Seth Rollins is going to be in the main event sooner than later. This whole show is better than most. I think it is good to see some of the younger talent get more time but the IC title and US title needs to be featured since there is no champion and after tonight with Daniel Bryan getting stripped of the title, we will see more good MITB Qualifying Matches. See you all for TNA Impact....

WWE Smackdown Review 6/6/14

Note: After what happened on WWE Raw this week, it should be interesting to see Seth Rollins with Triple H. Since I don't watch WWE Main Event or WWE Superstars since they are on WWE Network, this will be the first time I will see Seth Rollins as the new member of Evolution. Also, it should be said that all hell will break lose because of this change. So time to gear up for WWE Smackdown...

Match#1: Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Seth Rollins
(I will admit that watching Seth Rollins now is a lot better than he was back in NXT. This is a new guy with a better gimmick. Even though I loved The Shield but it is good to see the group part company and this was a good match for him. Even Ziggler was basically making this a good match. This is really a good way to open the show because this had heat to it. Plus it was not a mid card title. Ziggler is going to be back in the main event and as for Seth Rollins, well he is going to be a mid card title holder soon. )

Match#2: The Usos vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel
Winners: The Usos
(I will skip this match because this is SSDD in motion. We all know that The Usos will have these titles for a while longer. Plus Ryback and Curtis Axel are just together because neither one was doing well as singles. Next match...)

Match#3: Rusev vs. Xavier Woods
Winner: Rusev
(Rusev is going through black jobbers like crazy. Rusev might be a good wrestler but Lana is what I see. I have said on my FB groups she is a Russian I want to meet. I am sorry but that woman is hot and Rusev is just killing jobbers until someone steps up to him. )

Match#4: Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Cesaro
Winner: Bad News Barrett
(Bad News Barrett is doing a good job again with the IC title. However, he is not getting any competition except for a few guys. This was boring to me because RVD does the same thing. It is hard to take him seriously. So moving on...)

Match#5: Natalya vs. Alicia Fox
Winner: Natalya
(Good news is we got a decent match but we got to see Alicia Fox act like she is crazy. I felt sorry for Nattie because she is the one being wasted on WWE TV except for her time on WWE NXT. I change channels after Nattie won and before Alicia lost her shit. )

Match#6: Bo Dallas vs. Santino Marella
Winner: Bo Dallas
(I will refrain from commenting on this match because both are not worth my time. )

Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Big Show
Winner: No Contest
(This match has been done for years. So this ending was better because we did not have to see a slow match. Seth Rollins made an impact. He is a part of Evolution. RKO likes Seth and so does Triple H. So this is a good thing. However, Big Show had to be the guy used for all this. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: I knew this was going to be an interesting show. Seth Rollins is going to make an impact with Triple H. This show was filled with good setups and also better storylines. Plus no 3MB vs. Los Matadores, no midget wrestling, and without the WWE WHC it is going to be hard to make good shows without their champion. WWE Smackdown is going to be better if something changes on WWE Raw. See you all for WWE Raw...

TNA Impact Review 6/5/14

Note: This was already taped but since I don't like to see spoilers I will try to be objective to this show. TNA is going to do what they can to make their fans like their products. This should be an interesting show because we are getting ready for the Slammaversary PPV. So hopefully, we hope for good shows. Here we go with TNA Impact....

Match#1: Willow vs. Bram
Winner: Willow by DQ
(This was a waste of a match. Why? Because it would have been better to see Bram win this and also have Magnus beat up Willow after this match. I think Willow is a joke and Bram and Magnus needs to fight each other. Moving on...)

Match#2: Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards
Winner: Eddie Edwards
(Even though this was forced, this could have been a great match. Why? Seeing these men face each other shows who have the talent and who is a joke. Kenny King did make this match better afterwards. I guess this was just lost on me. )

Match#3: Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries
Winner: No Contest
(This would have been a good match with two great wrestlers. However, this was setting up something better for the main event. So let's see the main event....)

Main Event: Team Bully (Bully Ray, Eric Young and Austin Aries) vs. Team MVP (Ethan Carter III, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King) - First Blood Match
Winners: Team Bully
(This was fucking awesome. I think it was because I miss a first blood match. This was not a clusterfuck and this was done right. Unlike WWE, TNA is what we want in wrestling still. I will admit that Bully Ray is still not a good singles wrestler but he is more so a bigger part of TNA than he could be in WWE. Everyone was on point and on the money. I figured EC3 was going to be the one to bleed and was dealt with by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. Good way to end the show. )

Final Thoughts: Well this was a rare show where it started off slow but ended fast and good. TNA is trying to stick around btut needs to stop mimicking WWE and vice versa. Also, TNA needs to have more KO matches, more X Division matches, and definately need to have tag teams for that division. See you all for WWE Smackdown...

WWE Raw Review 6/2/14

Note: After last night with the PPV, I am going to assume that tonight is going to be a night of changes and also gearing up for SummerSlam. Also I just want to see a good show that won't have me change channels and not turn my TV off. Like I said, last night was a good PPV without a championship match but it did have something to see. Here we go with WWE Raw...

Match#1: Rob Van Dam and Sheamus vs. Cesaro and Bad News Barrett
Winners: Rob Van Dam and Sheamus
(This match pissed me off because we are seeing both mid card titles not being defended and also because this was just a bad way to start the show. So I will admit that this was not a bad match but didn't peak my interest.)

Match#2: Kofi Kingston vs. Bo Dallas
Winner: Bo Dallas
(Well this was not a bad match but then again, why should this be? Bo Dallas is going to be good to watch but only in short amounts of time. At least we also saw Kofi on TV. )

Match#3: Kane vs. John Cena
Winner: John Cena by DQ
(THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!! Seen this match back in 2012)

Match#4: Los Matadores vs. Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater
Winners: Los Matadores
(THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!!THIS WAS BORING!!!!!! THIS WAS BORING!!!!! Next match, please...)

Match#5 - Handicap Match: Nikki Bella vs. Alicia Fox and Aksana
Winners: Aksana and Alicia Fox
(It is rare to say that a divas match bores me but this did. I won't speak about the Bellas but think this was a revenge match from last night's PPV. Plus I think this could be also a sign that most women in the WWE hate her. Well at least a Bella didn't win this match. )

Match#6: Adam Rose vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Adam Rose
(Well if this feud continues then we need to have something change because this is not a feud for Adam Rose. He is not the guys that Real Americans feud with. However, this match was better seeing Cesaro beat Swagger over and over. )

Match#7: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs. The Usos
Winners: Erick Rowan and Luke Harper
(No amount of talk can describe this match. This was basically giants vs. ants. This was not boring but only because The Usos made it interesting. Moving on...)

Match#8 - Money In the Bank Qualifying Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(Well, if Del Rio is suppose to leave after this PPV or after the next one, then this is a good way to go out on. Their matches have been either really good or bad. This was a good one. I only say that because this is one of those times where it was not boring but it was not match of the night material. However, seeing that this is for the shot at the title, only time will tell. )

Match#9: Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. Goldust and Sin Cara
Winners: Ryback and Curtis Axel
(I refused to watch this match because this was filler for the main event. What is sad is that this was not a bad match but it just was boring to me. Time for the main event. )

Main Event: Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton
Winner: No Contest
(We just witness history. The end of The Shield has happened. Seth Rollins turned his back on his brothers. No matter what else happened or didn't happen, this is what fans will remember. No more Shield. Triple H won the battle for tonight. This is a sad day in WWE for the fans. )

Final Thoughts: After seeing the end to the show, I am in shock because of what happened. Seth Rollins is a dead man because he turned on his brother to partner with Triple H and RKO. The rest of the show was so so but thanks to the WWE for saving the best swerve in history to this show. Especially since the PPV was last night and most of the time WWE does have a better WWE Raw show after a PPV. Only time will tell about the change with Seth Rollins. See you all for TNA Impact...

WWE Payback PPV 6/1/14

Note: Usually, I don't get excited about non PPVs from WWE. I am use to four good PPVs from WWE then I can expect maybe three good shows per month from WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown. So this PPV is basically a recap or a rematch of the previous PPV. Seeing that most of what I just said is right, then let's hope for something different from this PPV. Ladies and gentleman, here is WWE Payback...

Pre-Show/Match#1 - Mask vs. Hair Match: El Torito vs. Hornswoggle
Winner: El Torito
(The only good thing about these matches is that these matches are not going to be on the main PPV. Thank you WWE for that because this is not going to get better but worse. El Torito is a gimmick and Hornswoggle is a character that is way past his usefulness in the WWE. This match was not dumb but it was not good either. So the result will be the same. Next match...)

Match#2 - WWE United States Title Match: Cesaro vs. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus
(I have tried to ignore the fact that this title is suppose to be specific. The IC title is the WWE's work horse title for jobbers. This title is not even the second version of that. After Dean Ambrose had the title for so long, I was assuming that this title was going to be killed off. I was so wrong. Now that Sheamus is actually defending it, I think it is time to let some of the young talent use it. Basically, it is time to see Zack Ryder or even Adam Rose go for this title. Cesaro is more so a better IC title contender. This match was not boring but it would have been better if Cesaro had made Sheamus a short title holder. Moving on...)

Match#3: Kofi Kingston vs. Bo Dallas
Winner: No Contest
(Kane, thank you so much for making this match short and sweet. Thank you WWE for wasting this match on a PPV. This is a WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown match. Next match please....)

Match#4: Rusev vs. Big E
Winner: Rusev
(Yawn! This is WWF back in the day. The Russian vs. The American. This time, the American is black and The Russian has a sexy ass mouthpiece. My god, all I could see was Lana's nice ass and her sexy strut. This was a boring match but Lana made up for that with a high FAP factor. Moving on....)

Match#5: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel
Winner: Ryback and Curtis Axel
(Cody is about to be a heel. Why is this process taking so long to get to it? If this is going to end up being a SummerSlam PPV match, then cool. Please don't wait too long for this payoff because it might backfire. As for this match, well This was not boring or bad but this did make me excited to see tag team wrestling in the WWE. Next match...)

Match#6 - WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett
Winner: Bad News Barrett
(I had BNB winning this because RVD is just there for a check. RVD is a good wrestler but he is just a jobber with a good gimmick and past titles. This was not a good match because the styles are different. Plus when we don't hear RVD speak, it means that this was put together quick. This was RVD's payoff for a quick IC #1 Contender's Tournament. Next match, please...)

Match#7 - Last Man Standing Match: John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Winner: John Cena
(I am going to use this as my last time ever commenting on any match with Yawn Cena because basically, he is not going to lose unless it is someone that is more over than he is. This match was good but the ending was so fucking predictable. I feel so fucking sorry for Bray Wyatt because as over as he is, Yawn Cena will bury you. )

Match#8 - WWE Divas Title Match: Alicia Fox vs. Paige
Winner: Paige
(I want to know why when AJ Lee had this title, her matches was not this close to the end but Paige's matches have been closer to the end? Nothing against Paige but there is something funky about this deal. This was not a good match to show off Paige and how good she is. This was basically a WWE Raw match. Alicia Fox is getting more heat but she still cannot wrestle. She can be bat shit crazy. )

Main Event - No Holds Barred Elimination Match: The Shield vs. Evolution
Winners: The Shield
(I think this was a good match with a bunch of bad points in the middle and the end. First of all, why was Batista wearing blue? I know some people will be all over this tonight and forever, but for me this was a point of something odd. Also, why did Evolution fight to lose? This whole match was suppose to be good and the hype was great. This match was like if Triple H said, don't win but fight. I guess the winners were The Shield but the fans were also the winners for this match. Time to end this PPV. )

Final Thoughts: No WWE WHC Title Match! We might had a good main event but what is the fucking point of having a champion but he is out of commision. I like Daniel Bryan but this was pointless to have a PPV without a main title match. I hate that because wrestling is about matches and titles. The Shield and Evolution did steal the show but I would have loved to see a title match. Aside from that, I think tomorrow's WWE Raw show should be interesting. I said my peace though out the show, so see you all for WWE Raw.

WWE Raw Review 5/19/14

Note: Last week went from so so to just plain aweful. I mean little hype was done to let people know that WWE was going to be in Europe this week. I think it is weird that WWE goes to Europe and have good crowds but when TNA does it, they act like the world loves them. Personally, I think wrestling overseas is a good thing to a point. I feel like it is pointless to cater to the crowd. In the States, it is good to cater to them but overseas it is better to just wrestle and showcase the talent. So here we go with WWE Raw from London, England.

Match#1: Cesaro vs. Sheamus - Non Title Match
Winner: Cesaro
(First of all, this is a rare case of where this title is pointless outside of the States. I know this was a non title match but the thing that really bothers me. As much as I like Sheamus and think he is going to do more with the US Title than Ambrose but the thing is that having the US title is like having toilet paper around your waste. We all know that most of the WCW titles aren't worth shit. As for this match, it was just ok because it was brutal and quick. Sheamus is better as a heel but Cesaro is better without a mouthpiece. Good way to start the show. )

Match#2: Big E vs. Ryback - Beat The Clock Challenge for the #1 Contendership at the IC Title
Winner: Big E - 5 minutes and 2 seconds
(I have an issue with these challenges because of how short these matches are. I hate quick matches unless it is a cruiserweight match. These men barely made this match quick. We all know that Ryback is known for hurting guys even though lately he has not been hurting anyone. As for Big E, well he is the former champion and without the title he is basically back to either jobbing to guys or killing other jobbers. This match was ok but the standard was set too low. )

Match#3: R-Truth and Cameron vs. Layla and Fandango
Winners: No Contest
(I will admit that I changed channels because of Fandango. I might be wrong with who was the female he had with him in this tag team match. Nothing against R-Truth, Cameron or Naomi but it is time for the black people to get new gimmicks. Time to drop the hip hop shit. As for Summer Rae and Layla, that might be more interesting especially since Layla is a better dancer but neither cannot wrestle. )

Match#4: Rusev vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Rusev
(All I cared about or wanted to see was Lana and that sexy body she has. I don't care what was going on in the ring, she was the main attraction. Plus, I did not care that 3MB changed to the Union Jacks or that Rusev could take all three men out in one match. All I could care about is how sexy Lana is. Moving on....)

Match#5: Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam - Beat The Clock Challenge for the #1 Contendership at the IC Title
Winner: RVD - 4 minutes and 15 seconds
(So if you though the earlier match was interesting, this was better. I will admit that RVD in the mid card is a joke because he is a main eventer. He is one of a few men that held all the titles in WWE. He is the only WWE/ECW Champion ever. So why is he a mid carder? Because Triple H is in the main event and thinks he is a jobber with a cool gimmick. As for ADR, well we all know he is gone by August. So this is just a goodbye tour for him. This match was good and the bar was set lower because this was an actual match that ended rather quickly. )

Match#6: Seth Rollins vs. Batista
Triple H - Special Ring Announcer
Randy Orton - Special Timekeeper
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns - Special Commentators
Winner: Seth Rollins by DQ
(This was the match of the night. I will claim that now because it was good regardless of the ending. You had a good match in the ring and a better brawl outside the ring. I love hearing Ambrose and Reigns on commentary because Ambose is the new Piper and Reigns is that damn cool. The ending setoff the brawl and we saw The Shield standing tall.  )

Match#7: Alicia Fox vs. Paige - Non Title Match
Winner: Alicia Fox
(I love Paige but hate Alicia Fox. So I changed the channel. Paige is still champion but Fox is a waste of talent in the ring. NEXT!!!!)

Match#8: Mark Henry vs. Dolph Ziggler - Beat The Clock Challenge for the #1 Contendership at the IC Title
Winner: Clock Ran Out
(This would have been a better match if it ended with a winner. I will admit that anyone facing Mark Henry is not going to make this a quick match. Ziggler might have lost the match but RVD won the challenge. However, Bad News Barrett reminded him that he is the IC Champion. My question is why does the IC Title contenders get matches like this but the US title contenders had to do a battle royal? Time to end the show.  )

Main Event: John Cena vs. Luke Harper
Winner: John Cena by DQ
(SSDD from WWE. No Champion on WWE TV so we get the next best thing. Except this was so bad and boring that I just gave up watching this match. So I already figured that this was going to end bad for Cena. Plus we all know that this is setting up the match with Cena and Wyatt at the PPV. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: So am I getting bored with WWE or is WWE having issues with entertaining fans? I am not a kid so I am not going to use that as an excuse. I am an adult watching this and see that most of the show was good but a couple matches does not make a good show. The crowd did make this more interesting but then again, most of the chants were geared towards showing how bored they were. Well it did not help that this show was taped and most of the results were shared to everyone. What do you expect when you are outside the U.S.? See you all for another taped episode of TNA Impact....

WWE Smackdown Review 5/16/14

Note: So as we saw last night, TNA basically rushed a title match and also a new heel. I have been more critical with WWE than TNA because most of the decisions in WWE are not as rushed as TNA. Seeing that this is the last show in the U.S. before WWE goes overseas to England. So usually when WWE go overseas they have to make their shows interesting to watch while in England and other places. The sad thing is that without a champion on the show, it is going to be difficult to have something else to focus on. It is the last WWE Smackdown show in the U.S.

Match#1: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Usos
Winners: Cody Rhodes and Goldust
(Do I want to see Cody go back to being a heel? Yup. He is better as a heel plus he is one of a few guys that can transition from being a face to heel without missing a beat. Most people agree with me when I say that Goldust vs. Cody should have happen during Wrestlemania but it did not. So we will see it before SummerSlam. As for The Usos, well they do need some competition because the WWE tag team division is getting weak again. )

Match#2: Heath Slater vs. El Torito
Winner: El Torito
(Ladies and gentleman, this is officially the worst match of 2014. Hands down, this is my nomination for shittiest match ever for this year. This is close to being the worse thing WWE put on TV since the Eugene character. My god, this was so bad that I did not watch it. I put the TV on mute and decided to hope for the best. My god, I was so fucking wrong. Moving on...)

Match#3: Natalya vs. Nikki Bella
Eva Marie - Special Guest Referee
Winner: Nikki Bella
(This was shit with a side of what the fuck. This is officially a botchamania match. This had so many that I with the editing for this show would have fixed it. Add to this match was Eva Marie who is a sexy woman but she cannot wrestle and now cannot even be a good referee. I felt sorry for Natalya because she had to job to a Bella. Also because she actually was trying to savage the match. NEXT!!!!!!!!)

Match#4: Batista vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Dolph Ziggler by DQ
(This match was like watching a football player beat up a cool kid. I am going to just say this match was a message for The Shield. Batista did what he is suppose to do. Sorry Ziggler for seeing you get beat bad.)

Match#5: Santino Marella vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Santino Marella
(He came, he beat the genius, he left. Santino is the man. As for Damien Sandow, well he has officially became the new midcarder to challenge the authority. He is being silenced and is now fighting to speak his mind. I rather watch that then this match. Moving on....)

Match#6: R-Truth vs. Cesaro
Winner: Cesaro
(Yawn, Cesaro needs a new challenger. Maybe Big E or Mark Henry. This was boring. Time for the main event. )

Main Event: John Cena vs. Erick Rowan
Winner: John Cena
(Typical Cena match. What else can be said. Ending the review now....)

Final Thoughts: Wow, this show was just as bad as watching TNA. This is suppose to be the show to have people talking while the WWE is in England all next week. This was just boring. Most of the show was just rehashed things from WWE Raw. I mean this was trying to be good during the first hour but it went down hill. I am tired and done. I will just end this review and see you all for WWE Raw from England.

TNA Impact Review 5/15/14

Note: Last week, I think I might have lost my edge with TNA. I mean you made a good face turn heel because TNA is dumb. Rather than make MVP a heel, he could have stayed face or had someone else be the heel at first. Last week was basically shitty to me. So with that said, this is going to be a better week. I remind myself that I don't try to remember last week because this week is better. I know that is an optimistic thing to say being a wrestling fan but WWE and TNA makes it hard most weeks. So I will pray this is going to be a good week and hope for the best. Here we go with TNA Impact....

Match#1: Willow vs. Bram and Magnus
Winner: Willow
(I will ignore Willow because I am not a fan of Jeff Hardy or his new gimmick. I want to talk about Bram and Magnus. This is very confusing because this is like a childhood friend trying to help a friend get his groove back. The fucked up thing is that this is a rushed storyline. We all know that Magnus losing the title was good for TNA. However, it put him in the mid card way too quick. I guess if this is going to continue then we need more information on Bram and we need to know if Magnus will become a face or stay a heel. )

Match#2: Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky
Winner: Gail Kim
(I was excited to see this match get setup but then I had to over think this match. First of all, Gail Kim is the queen bee in TNA. She have done it all and can retire in WWE. However, she is better off in TNA with what she has to face. As much as I love seeing Gail Kim wrestle, this match was not her fault. I am not a fan of The Beautiful People. I think these women suck as wrestlers. This was good for me but not good for most fans. Moving on...)

Match#3: Kazarian vs. Crazzy Steve
Winner: Kazarian
(So you mean to tell me that Daniels left but Kaz has to job to newbies? Even though he won because the dumb ass pulled down a referee's pants but still. This is not worth my time or worth yours to even think about this match. NEXT!!!!!!)

Match#4: Mr. Anderson vs. James Storm
Winner: James Storm
(Well on one hand this was a good match but it was a weird good. I want to know if I miss the storyline or was this a last minute match. This was a good match but no build up to it. Maybe I missed it. I think it is sad that Anderson can do good work in TNA but would end up in the hospital in WWE because of the all the stress. Hopefully, this match will build to a better storyline.)

Match#5: DJ Z vs. Tigre Uno vs. Sanada - X Division Title Match
Winner: Sanada
(This match was awesome. I love X Division matches. I think more matches are needed for this division. Same goes with the other titles in TNA. This was so good that I overlooked that DJ Z was barely able to keep up with the real stars of this match. Sanada is a true Japanese wrestler. Tigre Uno is a true Luchador. Most of this match was a rematch with the better wrestlers and DJ Z was just trying to cheat to win. I wish we see more matches in the X Division. Hopefully......)

Main Event: MVP vs. Eric Young - TNA World Championship Title Match
Winner: Eric Young
(I will admit that this was a confusing match. Not because it was for the title. Not because of the abrupt heel turn of MVP. It was because of the grouping of MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. So you basically are trying to have a black heel group in TNA. Why? Also what is going to happen when this ends. Will MVP act like Dixie and have the power go to his head. Basically, this match was weird and hopefully TNA will make time to explain this storyline a bit more. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: It is hard to emote feelings and what should be done in a blog review. I mean this show was suppose to be better. Better is a strong word to use with TNA because it is hard to be positive with TNA. This show was just as bad as last week except with one exception. I got to see a good X Division match. Even seeing Gail Kim in a match was good for her but not for the show. I'm sorry but MVP as a heel is good but not good for TNA. Especially with the fact that it was rushed. Kenny King and Bobby Lashley being added to the mix was another rushed thing people should pay attention to. I guess next week might be better. See you all for WWE Smackdown.....Hopefully that show might be better.

WWE Raw Review 5/12/14

Note: I am going to try to be more objective during the reviews. I feel like the repetition of both WWE and TNA is pissing me off. I mean watch WWE is like watching a hampster in a wheel. SSDD means same shit different day. SSDD is WWE. I want people to see what frustrate me. Hopefully tonight it is different. We will see. Here we go with WWE Raw, the A show of WWE.

Match#1: Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Rob Van Dam
(Thank you Adam Rose for making this a short fucking match. He comes in distracts Swagger. RVD takes out Swagger. This was actually good because no need to see a lot of action from RVD. Moving on to the next match.  )

Match#2: Paige vs. Alicia Fox - Non Title Match
Winner: Paige
(This was another quick match. I am starting to like Paige. She is just as good as AJ Lee. She is younger and faster but she is also cooler. This was sad to watch the end because Alicia Fox snapped. She can't wrestle but she can talk and can be a good valet. She was in full bitch mode. Next match please.....)

Match#3: The Wyatt Family vs. John Cena and The Usos
Winners: John Cena and The Usos
(This was a match I already saw on WWE Smackdown. The difference is that Cena won. So I move on. I do not want to waste time with this SSDD match from WWE. )

Match#4: Natalya vs. Nikki Bella
Winner: Nikki Bella
(Why is WWE doing this to us? So you use the divas reality show to make matches? Why? This is not the first time this has happen but this needs to stop. Why? WWE is happy to show that their divas are real people. They aren't. These women are basically what WWE assumes we want to see. This is not. I will admit that this was not a good match or would be a good match to see. Next match please. )

Match#5: Sheamus vs. Curtis Axel
Winner: No Contest

Match#6: Sheamus vs. Ryback
Winner: Sheamus
(Sheamus had to work twice tonight. He could not beat Curtis Axel because of Ryback but he beat Ryback without Curtis Axel. This was the longest match on WWE Raw in years. Sheamus is going to do a good job with the US title but at the same time, he is going to make people remember that he has the title. )

Match#7: Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(Ziggler is a mid card favorite. This match was a good reason why mid card hell exist. I will say it was a good match especially with Ziggler winning. This is going to be done again but hopefully with the same ending. )

Match#8: Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Cody Rhodes
(Cody won!!!!!! Cody won!!!!! Moving on...)

Main Event: Roman Reign vs. Batista
Winner: No Contest
(The match was good. The ending was better. This was so good that I will admit this was better to see than most of the show. However, this did not save this show. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: Kane vs. Daniel Bryan ended tonight because Daniel Bryan is going to have surgery on his neck. So Kane beat up Daniel Bryan. Well that is a sign that the title will be up for grabs soon. Daniel Bryan is not Cena. He won't be champion while he is recovering. So here we go with a WWE Champion Tournament. My issue with WWE is that they are not going to let the younger talent carry the show. They want to use older talent. The issue I have is that the older talent needs to be used less. Evolution vs. The Shield is good but won't last much longer once Batista has to leave to do press for his movie. Cena is going to eventually bury Bray Wyatt and his clan. So what's the point to watch? I wish I know. See you all for TNA Impact because if this show is bad then TNA might be worse.

WWE Smackdown Review 5/9/14

Note: Last night was not a fun night for me to watch TNA. I actually watched other shows than watching that one. I already know I will be doing the same for tonight's WWE Smackdown. It is not a secret that I feel that watching wrestling on Syfy is a joke. That's because this station is for sci fi geeks and they don't watch stuff like this. As for tonight's show, it should be interesting but if not then I watch something else. Either way, here is WWE Smackdown....

Match#1: Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose - WWE United States Championship Match
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a decent match. I hated this was the opening match but then again this was ok enough to ignore my rule about title matches opening the show. I think Dean Ambrose is going to be a champion again soon. I think Sheamus with the US title is going to be a good thing. This match was like watching crazy vs brutish. Good job so far WWE. )

Match#2: RVD and Big E vs Cesaro and Bad News Barrett
Winners: Cesaro and Bad News Barrett
(At first, I was bored with this match but seeing Cesaro and Barrett in the ring together made up for the boring bullshit. I only say that because these men are more interesting that RVD and Big E who are more so there for no reason most shows. This was a good match because Cesaro is going to be something and Barrett is the mid card champion. )

Match#3: Rusev vs. Kofi Kingston
Winner: Rusev
(Sexy lady comes out to bring out brute. Kofi is jobbing. Arrive, beat up, take out, move on and repeat. Next match, please.)

Match#4: Fandango & Layla vs. Santino & Emma
Winners: Fandango & Layla
(Before I totally ignore this shitty match, I want to point out that I never though seeing a man and woman kissing would make me sick. Layla is a sexy woman but seeing her kissing Fandango made me sick. The match was SSDD but the kiss was bullshit. Moving on....)

Match#5: Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry
Winner: Roman Reigns
(This was a good match. This was so good that let's do it again soon. Why is this a good match? Simply put, two big men in the ring showing off the strength they have. This was a perfect match to me. I love that Roman Reign is getting more ring time and shows that he is not a joke. )

Match#6: 3MB & Hornswaggle vs. Los Mataddres & El Torito
Winners: Los Matadores & El Torito
(I will just move on from this match. No need to repeat the same comments. )

Match#7: Batista vs. Seth Rollins
Winner: Batista by Count Out
(This could have been a better match if this had a winner. This was not a good match. If anything, this just proves that Batista is not going to be around much longer. He is not the same guy we saw years ago. Seth basically made the old man run ragged. Time to end this show. )

Main Event: The Wyatt Family vs. John Cena and Usos
Winners: The Wyatt Family
(I have nothing to say about this match because The Wyatt Family won and also made the point to show that Cena can lose to others and can job to people. Time to end the review.)

Final Thoughts: Most people don't watch Smackdown because most of the matches will either be repeated on WWE Raw and also this is also used to recap WWE Raw. This is not the old Smackdown when it was a separate show. This is the C show. WWE NXT is the B show. I will admit that watching tonight was hard because it was not easy to sit through most of the matches and bullshit. Nothing won't change until WWE sees that things need to change. So see you all for WWE Raw. We will see most of this mess again.

TNA Impact Review 5/8/14

Note: I will admit that watching TNA is the lesser of two evils. I only say that because TNA is easier to follow and no issues with watching it or following the storylines. I have said it is funny that I can watch TNA because at least the people in the audience and also the many people following online can make more sense with this promotion than WWE. I'm not a mark for TNA. Never will be a mark because this is basically a lighter version of WCW. So let's hope my wish of wanting to see more from TNA comes true. Here's TNA Impact...

Match#1: The Beautiful People vs. Brittany and Madison Rayne - Evening Gown Match
Winners: The Beautiful People
(It has been a long time for me to see a match like this for women. This would be considered a very derogatory thing to watch. However, seeing that the only person in this match that I have some interest to see is Brittany. Why? She is wrestler not a model who thinks she can wrestle like the other three. This basically bored me. So moving on....)

Match#2: Ethan Carter III vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: Ethan Carter III
(This was not a fair match. This would have been a good match if Angle did not fuck up his knee. I wanted to see Angle beat EC3 but the sad thing was like I said which is Angle's knee gave out. So this was like a jobber match in reverse. Quick pin and Angle in pain. Moving on...)

Match#3: The BroMans vs. The Wolves - TNA Tag Team Championship Ladder match
Winners: The Wolves
(I am going to call this the match of the night. Why? It is because this was more exciting and more entertaining than watching the matches above. I watch this from beginning to end. I love The Wolves and also think these guys will be fighting each other for the X Division Title in the future. When is the BroMans going to end? I hope so....)

Match#4: Kazarian vs. Knux
Winner: Knux
(When is a match so bad that someone would rather watch paint dry or listen to cats moan in pain? This is that match. I love Kaz but without Daniels, he is lost in the shuffle. As for Knux, well this new gimmick is better than Aces and Eights but we will see. My god, I think that I want to end this show now....)

Main Event: Magnus vs. Willow
Winner: Willow
(The word for this match is pointless. Why? Magnus cannot wrestle unless he has a bodyguard. As a face or a heel, he sucks without a bodyguard. This was pointless. This is not the end. This was the last match of the night. )

After the Main Event: MVP is out in the ring and welcomes the TNA World Champion, Eric Young! Eric comes out with the TNA World Championship as the crowd roars. MVP welcomes him to the ring and says he is inspired by him. He says EY is a leader and if more people are like EY then this company would have no problem in succeeding. MVP states EY is a fighting champion and he will give him a fighting challenger. Here is EY’s challenger… the number one contender! MVP points to entrance stage. EY turns but nothing happens. EY turns back to MVP but MVP is wondering what is going on. MVP says since they aren’t going to play his music then he will just tell Young. Just then, MVP punches EY in the face. He takes off his coat and grabs his chain around his neck. He punches EY in the face multiple times in the face with the chain. He gets back on the mic and says, “See you at Slammiversary.” MVP’s music plays and he walks off.
(Why is MVP heel now? You mean to tell me that they could not have waited to do this? Also why now? This is just as bad as when Dixie Carter turned heel. This is bullshit. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: This show had one good match. Why is that a good thing? It is not because TNA is suppose to be better than WWE. This was garbage. I mean first of all, no X Division match. No KO title match. The KO match was bullshit because it had nothing to gain or lose. I actually spent more time watching other shows on TV than watching this show. See you all for WWE Smackdown. I hope next week is better.

WWE Raw Review 5/5/14

Note: Well after the PPV last night, it is going to be interesting to see how this show goes. I don't pay attention to all the social media from WWE because it is more of a hassle to watch than to be somewhat objective when doing these reviews. Most of the time with WWE PPVs and the show after the PPVs, it could go either good or bad. We all know that WWE is going to milk The Shield and Evolution. Also we will see a confrontation with Kane and Daniel Bryan. So time to watch WWE Raw....

Match#1 - 20 Man Battle Royal for the WWE US Title
Dean Ambrose, Jack Swagger, Ryback, Custis Axel Santino Marella, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Kofi Kingston, Fandango, Mark Henry, Big Show, Heath Slater, Damien Sandow, Sin Cara, Titus O'Neil, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, Xavier Woods and Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus - New US Champion
(Watching this match was like saying I need 19 guys to get some TV time and make this look good. Basically, that is what you got in this match. Even Zack Ryder was in this match and had some TV time. I found that ironic since he was a former US champion. Most of the others guys in this match just were on TV just to kill time. This was setup by Triple H because he lost to The Shield last night. This was actually smart because we needed to see a title change. Sheamus won but that is not the point. The point was to hurt Ambrose. He did in a sense. Moving on...)

Match#2: Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro
Winner: RVD by DQ
(Normally, it is hard to say RVD is boring. He wasn't. Cesaro is getting boring at times. Heyman does not help. This match was slow and I was happy to see RVD won by DQ. I could not take another minute of this match. Moving on...)

Match#3: Cody Rhodes vs. Ryback
Winner: Ryback
(This was boring. This was just boring as fuck. This was setup because they had met earlier during the title battle royal. I don't want to waste time on this match but will say it is going to be interesting to see a feud with Cody and Goldust after WM. )

Match#4: Kofi Kingston vs. Rusev
Winner: Rusev
(I was going to making this comment short and sweet but I will just say my peace. This was a waste of time. Why? Rusev is a jobber killer. Lana was hot as fuck tonight. Kofi had no chance in hell to win this match. Now moving on....)

Match#5: Alberto Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan - Non Title Match
Winner: Daniel Bryan
(Before Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella came out to the ring, they acted like Kane was the boogeyman. He is not the boogeyman. Stephanie McMahon did not help by scaring the shit out of the married couple. As for this match, it was good but then again, this is the countdown to when ADR is leaving WWE. The match did make me think that the title is not the main event because it was not the main event. As for Kane, well he scared Brie and then Daniel and his wife got away. Why is WWE trying to scare me?)

Match#6: Big E vs. Bad News Barrett - IC Title Match
Winner: Bad News Barrett
(I was expecting to have saw this match at the next PPV but I guess we will see someone new to face Barrett. This was almost like the match they had last night. However, this was more so exciting because we actually though that Big E could have won the title back. This was not bad but thank you WWE for making it more so interesting. Time to end the show...)

Main Event: The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield
Winners: The Wyatt Family
(Seeing this match again is good for me as a fan. I think it is funny seeing these guys feud because it means WWE is changing their ways of main events and factions. Plus this was a good setup for this match. Triple H is still punishing The Shield for beating him and his boys last night. Add the fact that Dean Ambrose lost the US title earlier and this makes a good main event. The match as a whole was good as the other matches. The key thing is that Evolution came out as the match was about to be over. Am I pissed that The Shield lost? Not really because this is setting up another match with these guys and maybe another match with The Wyatt Family. The end was typical but it was a good brawl. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: I will admit that this was a very creep and weird show. I mean you got the Wyatt Family creeping us out. You got Kane chasing Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella. You got Triple H and his boys taking out The Shield. This was a weird show. Even seeing the premier of Adam Rose just scared me. Notice, there was no Divas, no Divas title, no tag team title match, and craziness. See you all for TNA Impact.

WWE Extreme Rules PPV Review 5/4/14

Note: Well this is the annual PPV that WWE uses to have what they consider hardcore matches. It is sad that this PPV is weak compared to half the shit that ECW did back in the day. I will admit that I won't be one of the masses watching this PPV on WWE Network or Cable. I am smart enough to watch this via secret connection. So before I start, let's just say this is not going to be a good night for WWE. I mean most of these matches are just sad because there was build up to these matches. We all know that Kane was just a last minute pick to get a title shot. Tamina Snuka is a good wrestler but we all know she is just there. Cena is going into this PPV looking like a weak face character. Basically most of this PPV is going to try to be hardcore. So here we go with WWE Extreme Rules....

Pre Show/Match#1 - WeeLC Match: El Torito vs. Hornswoggle
Winner: El Torito
(This is the first time they got a match right for the pre show. I was not a fan seeing this match on WWE Raw. I like midget matches but this was basically a sad excuse of a match. I think both of these guys are pointless to wrestling in the WWE. I was going to be nice about this match but the reality is that watching this match made me see that WWE could have done better. I will admit that the match was not bad but the whole thing to me really pissed me off. Moving on...)

Match#2 - Triple Threat Elimination Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Cesaro
(This could have been better. I only say that because these three guys should have had something to go with this match. I know Cesaro is going to be a main eventer. However, having these mid card matches would kill your career. I wonder why they keep RVD and this is why. He is the mid card expert. Plus anyone in TNA that comes to WWE tends to never be in the main event unless they are set to lose. As for Swagger, I think he should leave WWE and go to TNA. He is a lot like Gunner and could be a better fit there. )

Match#3 - Handicap Match: Alexander Rusev vs. R-Truth and Xavier Woods
Winner: Alexander Rusev
(Before I start, I have to admit that seeing Lana is making me hope she is going to be a good valet. Please don't have her wrestle. She don't need to wrestle. She is good eye candy. As for this match, I will try to say this without looking racist. This was basically a jobber killing match. Rusev just killed two black guys. Funny thing is that I enjoyed seeing Rusev beat them. We all know that R-Truth is just there. Xavier Woods is a good NXT wrestler but in the main roster he is worse than Zack Ryder.)

Match#4 - WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Bad News Barrett vs. Big E
Winner: Bad New Barrett - New IC Champion
(As much as I loved seeing Big E as IC Champion, it was good to see Barrett win this title again. He is good with the title and also can do like Ambrose with the U.S. Title. This was awkward to watch because Big E was kind of out of his element with this match. Barrett is more so the chosen one than Drew McIntyre. I was happy to see this title change hands and the tournament was a good thing. Too bad I had an ideal like that. )

Match#5: Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) vs. The Shield
Winners: The Shield
(This was the match of the night. Holy shit this was so good that I will admit that I did not think this would work but it did. All these men should be happy with this match. The Shield is good as a team. Even Evolution did some good things. People were bitching about Batista wearing Jordans in the ring. I did not care. All I cared about was that this was good. Roman Reigns will be champion soon. Seth Rollins will be champion soon. Dean Ambrose is going to be a threat for everything in the WWE. This could have ended the show but the main title is the main event.)

Match#6 - Steel Cage Match: John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Winner: Bray Wyatt
(Cena lost the match. WWE finally got it right. Cena is not Superman. I am a fan of The Wyatt Family. This gimmick is golden for the former Husky Harris. This whole storyline was getting stale but last week on WWE Raw and tonight made this better. Cena looked weak and timid. The kid that stopped Cena from escaping the cage made me think of Damien or Children of the Corn. Thank you WWE for putting on a match that proves that Cena is like Triple H in burying talent. )

Match#7 - Divas Title Match: Paige vs. Tamina Snuka
Winner: Paige
(I did not think Paige would beat Tamina but damn I was wrong. Also was it me or was this match quick. I mean it is rare to see the Divas title before the main event but this is a good thing for WWE because it means that this title is not a joke. I just think this was a quick match. Also it should be said that it is time to get all the NXT women to get into the main roster because it is time for new blood.)

Main Event - Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title: Daniel Bryan vs. Kane
Winner: Daniel Bryan
(I like Daniel Bryan. I was happy he finally got the title. I think he is a good wrestler and should not be made into a joke. I am going to say that we need to see him in more matches and not be put in the backburner. This match was good for a title match but the thing is that WWE is dropping the ball with opponents for the title. Kane was suppose to be semi retired and basically not in the main event. However, seeing this Kane was good for all of us who think he got old. This was a good hardcore match. Kane did get fire into this match and we saw a flaming table. Good match and thank you WWE. )

Final Thoughts: I came into this PPV looking for something to bitch about. I did have some things that I nitpicked about. However, this was not the best WWE PPV but it was not the worse either. Most of the matches were ok except for The Shield and Evolution. That was a good match. All the others including the title matches were so so. IC title match was setup for Barrett to win which means Big E is back to being a mid carder. Also hopefully when WWE Raw comes on we will see something to lead us into the next PPV. See you all for WWE Raw.....

WWE Smackdown Review 5/2/14

Note: This is the last show before the PPV this weekend. I will admit that this is going to be interesting because most of the matches for the PPV on paper looks bad. I know for the most part these matches for this show will not have much effect for the PPV but I hope for the most part it does try to be entertaining. Here we go with WWE Smackdown...

Match#1: Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Rob Van Dam
(I will admit this was a good match but the thing is that their match with Cesaro this week looks like a last minute thing. I think it is hard for me as a fan to see go wrestlers go through hell just to be in the main event. RVD is a good wrestler with a great gimmick and can be doing more. Swagger is good and shouldn't have a mouthpiece. Moving on...)

Match#2: R-Truth vs. Alexander Rusev
Winner: Alexander Rusev by DQ
(This is hard to watch because it just proves that WWE is finding it hard to match people in storylines and matches. Rusev was a beast in NXT but as he transitions into the main roster, it is not fair to see him go through jobbers. I hope they put him in a real feud with someone soon. )

Match#3: The Wyatt Family vs. The Usos and Sheamus
Winners: The Wyatt Family
(This was a good match but the point of this match was lost on me. I am excited to see Bray Wyatt in the steel cage with Cena so we can get a decent match. This was not a good match but this was filler. So moving on....)

Match#4: Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(I feel sorry for Sandow. I don't think it is fair for this man to go through all the shit he has been through just to be a joke. On WWE Raw, it was sad to see him pander to the fans and also start a bad feud with Dolph Ziggler. I mean come on. I am going to move on....)

Match#5: Big E vs. Titus O'Neil
Winner: Big E. by DQ
(As a black man, I enjoyed this too much. This was like watching two guys in the streets fighting for a girl or something stupid. I mean this was a good match but it was a better street fight. Big E is not a punk and neither is Titus. Time to end this show...)

Main Event: Dean Ambrose vs. Ryback vs. Curtis Axel vs. Alberto Del Rio - Fatal 4 Way United States Title Match
Winner: Dean Ambrose
(People wonder why Ambrose has a title that have not been truly defended since forever. It is harder to get people to feud with this title than the IC title. I think it is because WWE still wants people to see that the old WCW titles aren't worth shit except for the WHC title. This was a good match. This is why I think this title needs to be defended more on TV. Ambrose is a good wrestler and needs to make a push for the main event. Time to end this review. )

Final Thoughts: This show did a decent job in making the case to buy the PPV this weekend or watch it on the WWE Network. I still think people who truly love WWE is trying to find reasons still to watch WWE because some weeks it is hard to bear the shit they put on TV. Seeing that this is not the best show, I will just end with this thought - If you had the main event of the show with a lesser title that has not been defended regularly then do you expect people to be excited about watching a PPV where extreme is used but is tame compared what they use to do. See you all for WWE Extreme Rules PPV.

TNA Impact Review 5/1/14

Note: Well their PPV was not bad but it was not good either. So how do you make a show better? Hopefully TNA will answer this question tonight. I am not bashing TNA but hoping to see better things from this promotion. I mean you have a champion that is not getting buried by other talent. You don't have a tag team champion that isn't two bad wrestlers. You do have a bad KO champion but that might change. You don't have a bad TNA X Division Champion. So basically is TNA going to be better. We will see. Tonight is the building of something better. Here we go with TNA Impact...

Match#1: Gunner vs. Mr. Anderson
Winner: Gunner
(I will admit that how this match was setup was different. I mean using high card to make a main event was a silly thing but a good way to be fresh and creative. Seeing this match first was like seeing two mid carders be given one shot at being the main event. I wished Anderson won but Gunner is the younger man and also the better candidate for facing Bobby Roode later on during the night. This was a good match to see again because these men are good to watch. Both of these men are not mid carders but TNA main eventers. )

Match#2: Bobby Roode vs. Gunner - #1 Contender Match
Winner: Bobby Roode
(I will admit that Bobby Roode is the best TNA got right now. He is the perfect heel. He is not a good face but a good heel. He is also the only man in TNA that can make a match great. This was a good match because both men did not fake it. This match was pure action. Gunner is an intense guy and Roode is flawless. So seeing Roode vs. EY tonight is going to be good for business in TNA. )

Match#3: Willow vs. James Storm
Winner: Willow by DQ
(Yawn. I wished Storm won clean but wasn't bored seeing Anderson take out Storm. This was not a good match for Storm. Moving on....)

Match#4: The Wolves and Sanada vs. BroMans and Zema Ion
Winners: The Wolves and Sanada
(I cannot wait for The Wolves to have a good match with a good team. Tonight was not it. Sanada is just there. This was not boring but I will just move on because I don't have much more to say about this match. )

Main Event: Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode - TNA World Heavyweight Title Match
Winner: Eric Young
(I will admit that this was a good match. EY and Roode had a good match. I mean there was lots of action and twists. However, the thing about this match was that this could have been better. Why? EY had a shitty hardcore match with Abyss. So you mean Roode is not good for a hardcore title match? I will also admit that my expectation of this match was skewed because I was expecting something cool or bad to make this match end quickly. No luck. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: What is worse than knowing the matches and the winners before the show comes on? Simply knowing that TNA is not trying to be better is worse. If you don't know, for the next few weeks TNA taped their shows for most of May. I am going to still be doing reviews of TNA without knowing the results. This show could have been better because they could have had more matches. Also less backstage stuff. TNA should have learned that having more is good because less suckes. See you all for WWE Smackdown...
