TNA Genesis PPV Late Review

Note: This is late because I really had to re-watch this PPV. This will also show that I am kinda bias for WWE because I did not realize that I forgot to post this PPV. I hope to correct this once we get to February.


TNA Genesis PPV 1/8/12


(Note: Seeing that this is my first time blogging about any TNA PPV, please excuse my language because this is not going to be an easy thing to write about or have an opinion about it. Why did this PPV have be first? I could have waited for WWE Royal Rumble but here we go.....)


Elimination Match for the TNA X Division Title: Zema Ion vs. Kid Kash vs. Jesse Sorensen vs. Austin Aries

Winner: Austin Aries

(I can say this was a good match. I am shocked that this started the ppv. I guess because it is the kids playing. I am a fan of the X Division.  I find this funny that the X Division is the equavalent to Mid Card Hell in the WWE. Both the IC and USA Titles represent the top mid card in both Raw and Smackdown. I was a big fan of Kid Kash from back in the days of ECW. Well I can say that this was a great start.)

Brother Devon vs. The Pope

Winner: Brother Devon

(Will someone explain to me why Devon is stuck with this lame rivary with the Pope while Bubby Ray is doing better? I don't think this was a great storyline for Devon to do. Why is his boys getting involved? Why did this end at this ppv? Too many questions for this match but I know it is not over. I hope Devon either retires or move on from the Pope. I remember why he was not successful in WWE.)

Gunner vs. Rob Van Dam

Winner: Gunner

(I will be making a lot of RVD jokes because he's a joke now. I know he does matches just to get paid. I liked him back in ECW. I liked him when he did not speak as much. I lost interest after he joined TNA. This was not a surprise for me because Gunner is becoming a great heel. With Ric Flair, he's going to be like Batista except cooler. I love the gimmick of Gunner taking out guys via concrete outside the ring. )

TNA Knockouts Title Match: Mickie James vs. Gail Kim

Winner: Gail Kim by DQ

(I really don't know where to start and what to say. I will wait until Thursday to see if this is going to continue or not. I will say that Madison Rayne is getting on my last nerves and I am tired of her.)



Monster's Ball: Bully Ray vs. Abyss

Winner: Abyss

(Well thank god Abyss is not going to be in Immortal. By the way, who is still in Immortal? This was a good hardcore match. I miss those matches. I miss ECW and to a small extent, WCW for actually doing hardcore. I hope Abyss is moving on to better things. Bully Ray needs to get a better opponent.)


TNA Tag Team Title Match: Magnus & Samoa Joe vs. Matt Morgan & Crimson

Winners: Matt Morgan and Crimson

(Thank god for Joe because Morgan and Crimson suck as tag champs. At least with Taker and Kane, they can work together. Even Kane and Big Show worked good as a team. Crimson and Morgan sucks.)



Kurt Angle vs. James Storm

Winner: Kurt Angle

(Angle is still wrestling? Why? This was a good match but Angle needs to move on. Storm is beginning to be a great singles wrestler. I loved Beer Money and America's Most Wanted but he is better alone. What makes me laugh is that this was a feud over what.)



World Heavyweight Title Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Roode

Winner: Jeff Hardy by DQ

(Same thing I said for the Women's title match applies for this match. Why did this end with a DQ? My god, I love title matches only if the titles change. Bobby Roode is being a great heel. Jeffy Hardy is getting back to normal. I will hope that on Thursday there is some clarity with this.)

WWE Raw Review and Blog 1/30/12

WWE Raw Review 1/30/12

Note: This is the aftermath of the Royal Rumble PPV. This is the Raw that starts the Road To Wrestlemania. We know that Cena Also, did CM Punk keep the WWE Title? Or did he get screwed by Johnny Ace? This Raw will answer some questions from last and also will set the stage for WM28.

Opening Segment: Johnny Ace comes out and gives a speech about his performance and how he changed Raw for the better. He thinks he going to be perminate on Raw. Johnny Ace announces the Raw competitors for the PPV called Elimination Chamber. Kofi Kingston, The Miz, R-Truth, Chris Jericho and CM Punk will face off for the WWE Championship. CM Punk comes out to sing to Johnny Ace and wishes him well on his future endeavors. While he's doing this, he's joking with Johnny Ace. Daniel Bryan comes out after Johnny Ace announces a champion vs champion match with him and CM Punk. Daniel Bryan brags about being a vegan and also being a role model. Sheamus comes out to remind both champs that he will face the champion after The Elimination Chamber. Wished both of them luck and tells Johnny Ace he's going to be fired.
(This was a great start to the show. The suspense of finding out if Johnny Ace is going to be fired or not. The fact that Triple H is back on Raw. Also the next PPV is looking to set up something great for WM28. There were more questions than answers but it was worth watching the opening segment.)

Match#1: Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Randy Orton
(This was a great match. Wade Barrett was watching the match from a skybox. Most of this match was going Ziggler's way. I like the fact that this was a good watm up match to Barrett vs Orton on Smackdown this Friday. Dolph held his own but either he's going back to mid card hell or he's going to be in the title hunt for both titles.)

Match#2: Brodus Clay vs. Tyler Reks
Winner:
(Getting tired of this gimmick. I did not even see the match. I caught the end. I don't like Brodus as a joke. Poor Tyler Reks. He's about to enter into mid card hell. )

Match#3: WHC Daniel Bryan vs. WWE Champ CM Punk
Winner: Daniel Bryan via DQ
(Chris Jericho breaks up the match. I guess Jericho is gunning for the WWE Title. Well this is better than him not saying shit to the crowd and to the WWE Universe. This was a good PPV match that was fucking wasted because of the DQ from Jericho. This would be the only time ROH would be on WWE TV.)

Match#4: Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz
Winner: Kofi Kingston
(R-Truth comes out to do commentary. He's funny as hell. Oh my god, Little Jimmy was there too. This was a good match but the ending was a bit weird. I though The Miz had this match but Kofi pulls off the Trouble in Paradise for the win.)

Match#5 Divas Championship: Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix
Winner: Beth Phoenix
(This was a quick match. Eve was scared because she though Kane was coming for her. Eve lost focus and lost the match. Kane does come out to scare the shit out of her. Super Cena comes out for the save. He damn near kills Kane with the steel steps. This was a good segment but Cena is not going to embrace the hate.)

Ending Segment: Johnny Ace comes out to accept his fate as WWE Raw General Mgr. Triple H comes out to a large pop. After some jokes and some banter, Johnny Ace almost kissed Triple H's ass. Johnny Ace did say he would do anything to keep his job. There was some jokes and some witty banter. Just when Triple H was going to fire Johnny Ace, the Undertaker comes out to a larger pop. Taker wants Triple H one more time at WM 28. Triple H leaves with boos.
(This segment alone is going on my list of holy shit moments of 2012. Taker was on point. Triple H was funny until Taker came out. There are so many questions in this segment but no answers will be answered until weeks later. )

Other Notes: First of all, Mike Tyson in the WWE HOF Celebrity Wing. It's about fucking time because he should have been in over Drew Carey. Second, I am getting sick of the WWE Didn't You Know segments. I feel WWE is bragging and also lying about they got more viewers than whatever. Also tired of the shit with Twitter. Almost all the stars are on Twitter. Why? One big thing that will both upset me and kinda curious about is the WWE Youtube Channel. This is another way for WWE to keep their shit and not allow fans to use their videos. Remember SOPA? WWE was for the bill.


This was a good Raw. All the questions I had were answered and more question were asked tonight. All I have to say is that next week's Raw will be interesting. So will Smackdown this week because most of the questions will be answered. So until Friday, I guess I will be watching to find answers.

WWE Royal Rumble 2012 Review and Blog

Note: The reason this blog is late is because I wanted to watch both the PPV and WWE Raw to fully understand what's going on in WWE on the Road to Wrestlemania 28. 

WWE Royal Rumble Review 1/29/12

Note: Unlike my blogs about WWE Raw and Smackdown, this is not going to be in order but I will still give some of my short but insightful commentary and opinion of this WWE PPV.

WWE Champion CM Punk def. Dolph Ziggler (Special Guest Referee John Laurinaitis)

(I was disappointed in the fact that I wanted to see CM Punk get screwed. This was a good match for the most part. I cannot wait for Raw to see if Johnny Ace is going to be fired or promoted.)

Brodus Clay def. Drew McIntyre

(I am so pissed that this was on the PPV. Poor Drew is in mid card hell and someone is demented for thinking Brodus is cool enough to be in this gimmick. I still don't like this man's character.)

Sheamus won the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match

(This was not a good group of participants but it did include the entire roster and also some of the announce teams for both Raw and Smackdown. I don't have a lot to say because most of the participants just started new rivalries that might lead them into WM 28.)

John Cena vs. Kane (Double Count-out)

(Kane was laid out. Cena was laid out. Poor Zack Ryder damn near died again. I think this was a good match but Cena is not going to embrace the hate. Zack is going to be dead if Cena does not come out and hate the fans. I am hoping Cena becomes a heel or something. I don't like the slow pace this rivary is going.)

Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, Natalya & The Bella Twins def. Eve, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox & Tamina

(I could not concentrate on this match because of the t and a that was in this match. So many women and not enough time. This was a good match for the most part.)

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan def. Big Show and Mark Henry (Triple Threat Steel Cage Match)

(Daniel Bryan is a luck son of a bitch. He basically got out of hell with two giants. This was a good match but I know there will be botches in this match somewhere. Overall, this was not better than CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler but it had his moments.)

This was my 1st PPV that I watched live all year. I did not watch all of TNA PPV but did see the ends of the match. This was a good PPV and did lead us on the road to WM 28. I hope Raw will answer some of the questions I have for WM 28 and also the next PPV which is The Elimination Chamber.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/27/12

WWE Smackdown Results 1/27/12


Opening Segment: Big Show comes out and he's not happy about injuring AJ Lee and considers retiring. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out and cuts a promo on Show. Bryan ends up slapping Show and telling him to leave. Show got pissed off and shoved Bryan into the corner before getting in his face. Mark Henry came out and taunted them about the cage match at the Royal Rumble. Teddy Long ends up coming out and making Show vs. Henry for tonight and Wade Barrett vs. the returning Randy Orton.
(Daniel Bryan is on his way to becoming a good heel. Slapping Big Show was a mistake and Big Show scared the shit out of me. I cannot wait to see the PPV and the main event tonight. Also cannot wait to see Randy Orton back on Smackdown. He was missed because the angles were somewhat dumb.)

Match#1 - Non Title IC Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel
winner: Cody Rhodes
(This was an ok match to start Smackdown. I am sad that this title is a joke now. This title was the stepping stone to being a great WWE Champion but it is a joke title for the guys in mid card hell. Justin Gabriel is also stuck in mid card hell after being a tag team champ while in Nexus.)

Backstage segment with Teddy Long and his assistant Santino Marella. Santino talks about a possible tag team with Yoshi Tatsu called Santoshi. Drew McIntyre comes in and Teddy says he's about done. McIntyre vs. Sheamus is made.
(Santino had me rolling because of the names for the tag team. Also seeing Drew begging for his job is sad and pathetic. Another victim of mid card hell. Also, why did Teddy Long make a match for Drew against Sheamus. That's stacking the deck.)

Match#2 - Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre
Winner: Sheamus
(Sheamus is going to be a great pick to win the Royal Rumble. This match would have been a great match but it was too short. Also Drew was getting some cheers from the crowd. Sad to see Drew in mid card hell.)

Match#3 - Non Title WWE Tag Team Champions Match:  Epico and Primo vs. Santino Marella and Yoshi Tatsu
Winners: The Colons (Epico and Primo)
(This was a good tag team match for the most part. Santino is comic gold. The cobra was stopped by the backstabber. I like how they are going to give more time to the tag team guys. However, it's on Smackdown.)


Backstage: Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan talks about the championship. Bryan says he respects Henry and knows he can beat Big Show tonight. Bryan tells Henry to go teach Show a lesson.
(Daniel Bryan is slowly getting into the heel role. Mark Henry is killing me because he wants to kill Daniel Bryan. These men can put together a great segment but what's sad is that Mark Henry knows he should be champ.)

Match#4 - Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Match did not start.
(This was the best point of the show. Orton came back to a huge pop. He and Barrett brawled all over the ring. After the guys in the back came out to stop Orton and Barrett ran to the back, Orton give 5 RKOs to the guys in the ring holding him back. I loved every second of it.)

Match#5 - Hunico vs. Ted DiBiase
Winner: Hunico
(After the match, Hunico and Camacho beat down DiBiase and worked on his injured wrist. So I guess DiBiase is out because of an injury. Another victim of mid card hell.)


Match#6 - Brodus Clay vs. Alex Riley
Winner: Brodus Clay
(A basic squash match for Clay. No comment on the gimmick because it is a joke to me. Also another mid card hell victim: Alex Riley.)

Match#7 - Aksana vs. Natalya
Winner: Aksana in like three seconds
(After the match, Natalya attacked Aksana and locked her in the Sharpshooter. Tamina ran down and made the save with a Samoan Drop and Superfly Splash on Natalya. This is the match I want to see soon. Tamina vs. Natalya.)

Main Event - Big Show vs. Mark Henry
(Daniel Bryan watched from ringside. They went at it and Henry stayed out to get counted out. Bryan attacked Big Show with a chair and they ended up fighting in the ring. Bryan locked in the LaBell Lock but Show broke free and chokeslammed him and hit the knockout punch. This was a quick match and the editing made it worse. After the commercial break, they tell us that Big Show won and did not show how or explain why. The ending was also rushed. I hope their match at the PPV is not going to be rushed.)


Overall, this was a good way to leave us wanting more. The Royal Rumble is this Sunday. I hope this PPV is a good one. This is the start of the road to Wrestlemania 28. Unlike other PPVs this road is going to be epic because of what's suppose to happen leading to Wrestlemania 28 in Florida with one of the biggest matches in The Rock and John Cena. I just hope the guys on Smackdown will come up with something just as epic.

TNA Impact Review 1/26/12

TNA Impact Review 1/25/12


(Note: Last week's Impact was surprising and hope this week is better. I am actually interested in some of the storylines. I am not becoming a fan yet but slowly liking the product. I am going to try to be fair and give my opinion of these matches because this is not a review but more so an opinion of what I saw on this episode. Unlike the WWE, TNA's PPV is next month and they have time to gear up their PPV. SO I hope this show is a start for that.)

There was a recap of last weeks Impact where they showed how Bully Ray interfered with the championship match and the #1 contender match.
(So is Bobby Roode a part of Immortal? Also who is in Immortal now? Finally, why is Bully Ray being a goon?)


Backstage: Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray are fighting in the back of the Impact Zone. Bobby Roode pulls up in his truck and attacks Hardy. James Storm appears and goes at it with Roode. Sting runs everyone off.
(This was a good way to start a show. I love how these guys were fighting hard and fast. Also I like the saves from Storm, Roode, and Sting. So is Sting done wearing the paint? Also, is it me or is Jeff Hardy trying to keep his job at TNA? I like Jeff but I hope he don't end up like Matt.)


Match#1 - #1 Contender for the Womens Title: Tara vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky
winner: Tara
(Good match. I laughed because the ending was cluster fucked but it pulled it off because it was a three way. I keep thinking why WWE let Tara and Mickie James go but then I remember why. These women can wrestle. So can Velvet Sky to a point. I am not a fan of hers but at least she's not Angelina Love.)

Promo To Main Event: Sting calls out James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Roode and Bully Ray. They brawl in the ring. Sting tries hard to pull them apart. So he tries to lay down the law. Once he did that, Sting announces Ray & Roode vs. Storm & Hardy in a Tables Match for tonight.
(This was a great way to get the main event announced. I miss guys actually brawling and making wrestling more believable. These guys were all over the ring and what's funny is that Sting basically manhandling all four of these guys.)

Backstage: Winter and Angelina Love tries to seduce Eric Young. ODB comes to make the save and they have a match tonight.
(Eric Young is just as funny as Santino. Actually this does remind me of Santino and Beth Phoenix. Except Eric Young is a true nut. ODB does scary me because a woman like that is not right. As for Winter and Angelina Love, they need to break up or do something more productive.)

Match#2 - Alex Shelley vs. Zema Ion
Winner: Alex Shelly
(I love the Motor City Machine Guns. I miss them as a tag team. Alex Shelly is a great singles wrestling. I hope he does get a shot at the X Division Title. Alex Shelly does represent the 313.)


Match#3 - Eric Young and ODB vs. Angelina Love and Winter
Winners: Eric Young and ODB
(This was a suprising good match. I am liking the mix tag angle with ODB and Eric Young.)


Match#4 - Matt Morgan vs. Samoa Joe
Winner: Matt Morgan
(I don't like the tag team champions being two guys that cannot wrestle. So please give the belts to Magnus and Joe. I think either Morgan or Crimson will hurt someone in the ring soon. No wonder why WWE got rid of Matt Morgan.)


AJ Styles comes out but is interrupted by Daniels and Kazarian. AJ vs. Kaz is made for Against All Odds.
(No comment because I want to know how this angle got started. I am so confused with this angle.)


Main Event - Tag Team Tables Match: Jeff Hardy and James Storm vs. Bully Ray and Bobby Roode
Winners: Hardy and Storm
(Ray attacked Storm and Hardy with a steel chair after the match. Impact ended with Ray putting Hardy through the table from the top rope. This was a crazy match but this match was good enough to make me want more. Hardy still can put up a crazy bump. Same goes for Bully Ray.)


This was a good show tonight. I cannot wait to see what's going to happen next week. I think they are overseas next week. I cannot wait to see TNA overseas. I hope this is different for them and us as fans. See you next week.

WWE Raw Review 1/23/12

(Note: This is the Raw before Royal Rumble. So I guess this is the week we see Johnny Ace's true colors and see him truly become a heel. Also we will see CM Punk's fight to still hold the WWE Champ. So many stories will be left in the air once Royal Rumble come and go. I hope Zack will get a chance to get the US title back. We will see.)

Opening Segment: CM Punk comes out and calls out Johnny Ace. He talks about how he's going to break his arms if he's screwed out of the title. They show the end of last week's Raw with Johnny Ace basically going to screw Punk out of the title. Instead of Johnny Ace, John Cena comes out. This was funny. Cena calls out Johnny Ace. He wants Kane tonight and wants Zack Ryder to get a US title shot. Finally, Johnny Ace comes out and tells Cena that Ryder will get a US title shot if he beats.....Kane. Also there is a tag team match next with him and Punk.
(Good opening segment. I want to see Punk and Ace. Also Cena is slowly looking like a good heel.)

Match#1:John Cena and CM Punk vs. Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler
Winners:Ziggler and Swagger
(Johhny Ace causes CM Punk to be distracted. Punk wants Ace in the ring and he gets his wish. So the main event is set. What is making me laugh is that I want to see Punk GTS Ace.)

Match#2:Zack Ryder vs. Kane (Falls Count Anywhere)
Winner:No Contest
(Ryder is laid out. This match was slow. Eve comes out and almost attacked by Kane. If Cena came out during the match, Ryder would not get any more US Title shots. Cena came out after the epic chokeslam off the ramp. This was a scary segment.)

Match#3:Jinder Mahal vs. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus
(So tired of Jinder. Wade Barrett came out to talk about winning the Royal Rumble. One more match with Barrett and Sheamus please? Also found out that Randy Orton is coming back to SD this Friday.)

Match#4: Brodus Clay vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Brodus Clay
(No comment about this match. Tired of stupid Brodus gimmick. Big white guy acting black is boring to me.)

Match#5:The Miz vs. R-Truth (Loser gets the #1 spot for the Royal Rumble match)
Winner: R-Truth
(During the backstage segment, Miz talks about the people who tagged with him in the past. R-Truth comes out acting like someone else. Johnny Ace says he's tired of hearing them. So loser of this match would be #1 in the Royal Rumble match. Good match. This is why both these guys need to be in the main event not the mid card hell they are in.)

Main Event:Johnny Ace vs. CM Punk then became David Otunga vs. CM Punk
Winner: No Contest
(CM Punk puts Otunga in the Anoconda Vice and then gets Ace in the GTS. So epic. However, Ziggler comes out to put Punk out cold.)

Overall, this is a good Raw episode to lead into Royal Rumble. Most of the storylines will be cleaned up after Royal Rumble and we start the road to WM28. Cena will be a heel in time to face The Rock. CM Punk will still be champ until WM28. Zack Ryder is off TV for a while to cool him down. Eve almost got messed up but she was saved by Cena. With Triple H coming back next week, I cannot wait to see if Johnny Ace will be off TV or on TV. I am more excited to see Royal Rumble but more excited to see how things will lead to WM28. This Sunday and Monday will be great time to watch WWE.

BTW: Jericho finally talks during a very short version of The Highlight Reel. He basically says that the end of the world is

coming at Royal Rumble. Something good is about to happen with this guy.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/20/12

WWE Smackdown Results 1/20/12

(Note: This is the episode after AJ got bumped by Big Show during the main event with DB. So I want to see if this holds up or fails big time. Also this is the Smackdown version of Raw's Roulette wheel. So let's hope this is a good show.)


Opening Segment - World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan opens the show and runs down Big Show again for what he did last week. The crowd boos Bryan as he cuts a promo and says Big Show should quit.
(DB is slowly becoming a heel. Maybe he's listening to Kane and embracing the hate. I want this only because DB needs something different. Also, this is a good way to make changes on Smackdown since Orton is out for a while. So evil DB is better than geeky DB. Big Show is not going anywhere....or is he?)

Backstage Segment 1 - Cody picks Hornswoggle for a non title match. This was after he spinned the wheel and got a player's choice slot.
(This is a rip-off of Raw's Roulette Wheel. I just hate rip offs.)


First Match - Non Title Match with Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel
Winner: Cody Rhodes
(This was suppose to be Cody vs. Hornswoggle but the match got changed. Not going into the details because I am tired of the whole gimmick with Hornswoggle. Also, WTF is going on with him, Gabriel and Slater? Why is this an important storyline? No one knows.)


Second Match - WWE Tag Champions Primo and Epico vs. The Uso Brothers
Winners: The Colons
(This was a good match. I like the push that both these guys are getting. I love the new look of the tag teams but we need more teams. Get those guys off NXT and put them on Smackdown at least.)

Backstage Segment 2 - Sheamus picks a tables match against Barrett.
(Don't care about Teddy Long flirting with the flavor of the month but Sheamus is growing on me. One thing: get a damn tan!)


Dance-off: Vickie Guerrero and Brodus Clay
(No Comment.......seriously no fucking comment. I want wrestling! Plus Brodus is a joke to me now.)


Third Match - Tables Match: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett
Winner: Wade Barrett
(Jinder Mahal comes out to distract Sheamus. Jinder, then attacks Sheamus but gets put through another table. Good match but cannot wait to see a quality match soon from Sheamus, Jinder and Barrett.)


Fourth Match - Flag Match: Ted DiBiase vs. Hunico
Winner: Ted DiBiase
(This was a silly match. I said last week that stereotype people like Hunico needs to go in the WWE. Also DiBiase needs to get a better gimmick. Something better than the common man. Sounds like Dusty Rhodes back in the day.)


Backstage Segment 3 - Drew McIntyre gets fired by Teddy Long. Santino Marella asks for Drew to be re-hired and challenges him to a match. They do the Roulette wheel and it's a Blindfold Match. Drew isn't fired if he wins.


Fifth Match: Blindfold Match: Santino Marella vs. Drew McIntyre
winner: Santino Marella
(The Cobra strikes again. I love the move but it is not easy to do. Poor Drew. Put him on Raw so he can get a better storyline. Santino is comedy gold.)

Main Event - Lumberjack Match/World Heavyweight Title: Mark Henry vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner: No Contest
(What do you think happens in a lumberjack match? A full blown fight with everyone involved. What's funny is that Sheamus is alone in the ring after cleaning house and getting everyone out the ring.)



This was a ok Smackdown. I did not want to see Brodus look like a fool but I had to. Everything else is good for me. Some people might not like what they saw but at least I can watch Smackdown without resorting to drinking or anything else. I hope once Royal Rumble ends and then we get to WrestleMania, we see good matches and storylines leading to WM28. See you all next week.

My First Draft of WWE HOF Canadidates

Dear WWE HOF Committee (Vince Mac),

As a fan, I would love to see people you might have overlooked in the past for spots in the WWE HOF. Here's my list of people and why they should be in:

1.) Chris Benoit: Over what he did to his family and focus on his work. He was a good wrestler. He had a good work ethic. No matter what he did in his personal life, his professional life was good.

2.) Bruno Sanmartino: Same goes with him. Whatever he did, overlook it and let us fans see someone that is a legend in the wrestling business.

3.) Owen Hart: Talk to his widow. Get her to see that it would be great to us fans to see the good memories of this good wrestler. Expalin to her that most of the proceeds go to Owen's kids. Let Owen's memory be a great one not one of sorrow.

4.) Lex Luger: Same principles apply to Luger like Benoit. Overlook his crime and see what he did in the ring. Show people that people can change and be happy with their changes.



These are the names that comes to mind right now. I will add more later but for now, give these men not only their votes to be in the WWE HOF but also to be forgiven and let out of the blackballed list.

Dear Evan Bourne,

So I hear that you got suspended for the second time for failing the WWE wellness policy exam? Why? What is making you fail these test? The first time, I heard you were smoking synthetic weed. Dude, did you learn from watching Martt and Jeff Hardy? Was that weed that good to miss work? I guess so because you are no longer tag team champ with Kofi and sitting at home watching others excel. What made you fail this time? You not only cost you and Kofi the tag titles but you also had to be embarassed on national TV. As a fan, I wanted to see you get into the IC or US title hunt. I wanted to look up to you and see a clean man with no issues with drugs. All I see is someone like Matt and Jeff Hardy. Someone who don't care about the fans and mess up your fan base and all those who have faith in you.

When you first debuted, I was happy to see a high flyer. I was happy to see a good wrestler. I was geeked to see someone do the 450 splash and can take to the air. When you teamed with Kofi, I was happy to see a great tag team. I was excited to see the tag team ranks get better. When you and Kofi won the belts, I was an excited fan. Someone that could see good things from you and Kofi. Then you get suspended. Kofi had to wrestle alone. You were home alone. I almost forgot about you. When you came back, I forgave you but I don't think I could again now.


Are you tired of WWE? Are you tired of your spot in WWE? Failing a test is not going to get you a spot unless it is the unemployment line. I hope you come back and get back to the IC or US title hunt. I hope you stay clean and get your life right. If not, then TNA will wait for you and maybe you could become their champ. If that's your plan, I will follow you. If you stay in WWE then I have a simple message for you: Get your shit together! For all of us that are fans of yours, please stick around in WWE. Or go to TNA if you want to. I hope you read this and see this is your shot of reality. Thanks for your time.

TNA Impact Review 1/19/12

TNA Impact Results/Review 1/19/12

(Note: After last weeks events, I will focus on the matches. Please read the below notes as to why. Also I hope to find out what's going to be done with the screw job ending of last week. I also hope that no match is being repeated because TNA will repeat a match until we get sick of it. So here we go......)

First Match - Gunner w/Ric Flair defeated AJ Styles following some Kazarian/Christopher Daniels interference and Gunner DDted AJ for the victory. After, Gunner went to DDT AJ on the concrete, but AJ got out of it and grabbed a chair.
(Gunner is getting a rep for taking out guys with the outside concrete with a DDT. Helps to have Flair as a manager and corner man. AJ was luck to get away when he did. Gunner is a ok heel but needs a better gimmick.)


Second Match - Crimson defeated Magnus via Red Sky. After, Samoa Joe attacked Crimson. Morgan came out for the save, but to no avail. Joe and Magnus hit their Enzugiri/Elbow combo on Morgan.
(Please give the tag titles to Joe and Magnus because I don't like Crimson and Morgan. Why are we going to have to wait to see the tag titles change.)

Third Match - Mickie James defeats Madison Rayne in a steel cage.
(This was a good match. However, Madison Rayne did something I don't know if I was aroused by it or disgusted by it. So basically I saw a good womens wrestling match.)


Fourth Match - Eric Young defeated Angelina Love w/Winter by disqualification when Angelina kicked EY low. After, Winter and Angelina put the boots to EY until ODB came out for the save. Angelina and Winter got the advantage on her too, until EY got a second wind and threw the two of them out of the ring. EY then kissed ODB.
(For some reason, I like the Young/ODB union. What scares me is that I want to see more of this. As for Love and Winter, please give Love a better gimmick and let Winter with someone else. Just saying.....)


Main Event - James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy went to a no contest. Bully Ray came out and hit Brian Hebner with a chain. He then hit Hardy and Storm with the chain. Earl Hebner ran out and Ray beat him up.
(Bully Ray needs to stop messing these matches up. I know him and Roode are in the same clique but I am tired of the main event matches ending with chaos. Damn you Bully Ray and Roode.)

The reason why this review is shorter than the others in the past few weeks is that I cared about the wrestling. I say that because TNA wants to see that wrestling matters. So this week, most of the show was talking. I loved the women's cage match but that's it. Everything else is repetition. My thing is that TNA is hard to watch some weeks and harder to review. I hope next week is going to be better because if it gets worse, I will have to sum up TNA on a monthly basis.

WWE Raw Review 1/16/12



(Note: Today is MLK Day. This is a time to show respect for a man that had a dream about equality. Wrestling is very equal to a point. People like Rocky Johnson, The Rock, Ron Simmons have made it easier for Afican Americans to be champs. With that said, this should be an interesting night for Raw. I loved how even WWE acknowledge MLK Day. Thank you Vince.)

(Second Note: Forgive me for my bluntness and crassness but this week is the week I am going to be hard of both TNA and WWE.)


Opening Segment: The show starts with Mick Foley. I'm shocked he is still in WWE because what can they use him for. Also big tag team match tonight with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler. So far, Mick is being Mick because I love this man. If he's going to actually have a match for Royal Rumble or WM 28. Holy shit, he wants to be in the Royal Rumble match. As who though. Oh my god, the sick bitch Vikki Guerrero and Dolph "Nicky" Ziggler. Mick is going to in the Royal Rumble and I hope he does well. Dolph is a great heel but he needs to dump Vikki. I am tired of Vince using her for the younger guys. Poor Eddie is barfing up in heaven. CM Punk comes down to save this opening segment. Thank god for CM Punk and the pipe bomb. CM Punk and Mick Foley would be a great match on so many levels. Here comes Johnny Ace to kill the opening segment. Johnny Ace says no to Mick Foley's request to be in the Royal Rumble. Vikki laughs at Mick. Dear God, can someone shut her up!


Match 1: WWE Tag Team Title Match - Epico and Primo vs. Air Boom

(Over the weekend and all over the internet, we learned that Air Boom lost the titles to basically the Colons. I did not like Air Boom and was happy as hell they lost the titles. Now I hope that WWE will build their tage teams up. So tired of the same three or four teams. Do like TNA did and throw the guys who aren't doing shit together.)

Winners: Primo and Epico

(I am shocked they won and shocked they will hold the titles longer than a couple of weeks.)

Backstage 1: Johnny Ace tells Chris Jerricho he's in the main event tonight. No words were spoken from Y2J.

(Y2J is getting on my nerves for not speaking and basically screwing with the fans.)

Backstage 2: Zack Ryder is back with Eve. Zack is going to the ring and so is Eve.

(Zack is a luckly son of a bitch to be with Eve. She's not a good wrestler but sexy to look at. I know he's about to lose the title to Jack Swagger. So what? He's still a champ to me.)


Match 2: WWE US Title Match - Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder

(So excited about the match because Zack needs to defend the title and make people believe he's able to come into the spotlight. Swagger is stuck in mid card hell but he's also a great heel as well. I really hate Vikki but love seeing Eve. I don't know if Zack is really injured or if this is part of the storyline with Kane and Cena. I hope he don't lose the title but I know if he loses the title, it's only because Vince is not happy with Zack's popularity.)


Winner: Jack Swagger - New US Champion

(Well I knew he was going to drop the title. I think this is part of the bigger picture. I know Zack is going to get a rematch at Royal Rumble. For now, he's still the internet champ unless he has to fight his boy.)

Backstage 3: So Johnny Ace goofed with Zack. Eve talks but Johnny Ace shuts her up. So I was right. There will be a rematch.


Match 3: Divas Match - Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox vs. the Bella Twins

(Oh my fucking god, Perez Hilton is gues ring announcer. Who the fuck cares! I think he's like Bischoff and starves for attention. What the hell?)

Winners: Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox

(No comments after the match. I am about to be sick after seeing Perez Hilton on WWE Raw.)

R-Truth Segment


I'm a good R-Truth! Where's Little Jimmy at tonight? Here comes Wade Barrett. The Barrett Barriage is on Raw. So why is Barrett interrupting R-Truth? Because they are in the Royal Rumble. Don't what me! Ok, go ahead and what me! There's a slide show with Mickey and Minnie. Then a pic of Donald Duck. Finally, a pic of Pinocchio with his nose growing because he lied about Wade winning the Rumble. Here comes the Miz to take out R-Truth. However, he comes Sheamus for the save. Theodore Long comes out to make a match. So there is an impromptu match.



Match 4: Over The Top Rope challenge - Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus vs. R-Truth vs. The Miz


(This is a good ideal. I actually like this match. I have done this match on my PS2 just yesterday. This is good for the middle of the show and good for me after watch Perez Hilton and the Divas.)


Winner: R-Truth

(I was entertained with this match because it was a good match. I am loving crazy R-Truth. Sheamus is also getting cool. He needs a tan though.)


Backstage 4: Cena comes to confront Johnny Ace over Zack's loss. This was weak and it will lead to the hate for Cena.

(Moving on....)


Match 5: US Title Match - Jack Swagger vs. John Cena


(This match goes under WTF catagory. I already know that Kane is going to come out and Swagger will keep the title. What's funny is that this is going to be a cog in the storyline with Kane and Cena. If Cena wins then Cena will have to face his friend, Zack. So let's hope for the best but expect the worse.)


Winner: None


(Kane is getting to Cena. Cena came close to killing Swagger. This might be a good match for Rumble. Moving on.....)



Match 6: Brodus Clay vs. JTG


(Last week, I peed on myself watching this man wrestle. Actually I laughed when he got into the ring. So this is another night I had to change my pants. This is sad for both me and others wrestling fans. What am I watching? I feel insulted on so many levels. I hope this don't give me nightmare.)


Winner: Brodus Clay


(Please excuse me for a second because I am going to make sure my eyes forget what I just saw. This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen on wrestling.)


Daniel Bryan Segment

(Not going to write about what happened on Smackdown and don't care if she got hurt. This is a stupid point of the storyline with DB, Big Show and Mark Henry.)


The Main Event: Daniel Bryan, Chris Jerricho, and CM Punk vs. David Otunga, Mark Henry, and Dolph Ziggler

(I hope Y2J speaks or wrestles. I hope DB can hold his own in this match. CM Punk will show that he's the best in the world. The heels in this match will show themselves except Otunga. He looks funny in the ring. This is going to be a good match but feel like something is going to be wrong. I hope this is a long match.)


Winners: CM Punk and Mick Foley

(This was suppose to be a good match but it turned into a clusterfuck. Y2J just walked out. DB and Mark Henry walk out. Mick Foley comes out to replace DB. I marked out for Foley. He has not lost a step so to speak. Mr. Socko is back in the WWE. Johnny Ace comes to ruin the party.)

After The Match: CM Punk lays down the law with Johnny Ace. CM Punk speaks the truth about Johnny Ace. This is about time. So I am happy to see this come out. CM Punk is the MAN! Johnny Ace is still in the ring talking like the dull man he is. Mick Foley puts him in his place. Johnny Ace finally snapped. Thank god! He takes out Foley. Oh boy!

Overall, this was an ok Raw Show. Why did they invite Perez Hilton? Who cares about AJ and DB? Why is Y2J back in WWE? There are some questions that needs to be answered and some questions that I don't care about. I will be happy when the next Raw comes on next week.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/13/12

WWE Smackdown Results for 1/13/12

Daniel Bryan opens the show but is interrupted by Mark Henry. Henry is banned from ringside for tonight's World Heavyweight Title match but Henry wants a title shot on next week's show.

(DB is either going to drop the title soon or turn heel soon. Either way, it is a good thing for WWE. DB is a good wrestler but he lacks mic skills. He also needs to not talk. Quiet is better.)

Justin Gabriel beat Heath Slater.

(These guys need to be back as a tag team. Hornswoggle is not a great thing for a storyline. I like him but it's time to get rid of him.)

Cody Rhodes beat Ezekiel Jackson.

(Before this match, Cody was talking about being IC and WHC. He's getting to be a great heel. I know what's going to happen and I don't care what others think. There will be a Goldust vs. Cody match at WM28. This match was stupid because he beat Jackson to get the belt.)

Ted DiBiase beat Drew McIntyre.

(DiBiase vs Hunico is coming at Royal Rumble. I feel sorry for Drew or will he end up on Raw and get a better storyline. I like Drew but hope this stupid storyline will end.)

Sheamus beat Jinder Mahal

(I hate that Sheamus is not in the main event. This sucks because Sheamus is ready for the main event. Jinder needs to go. I’m tired of the stereotype roles.)

David Otunga beat Santino Marella

(Why? Why? Why? David O needs to stay on Raw and leave us Santino. Santino should have won solely because Santino is comic gold. Also he's due for a title shot.....mainly IC or US title.)

  

Brodus Clay beat Tyson Kidd

(I don't know who to feel sorry for. Brodus disappointed me on Raw and Tyson Kidd is being a jobber. This match was sad for both men. I wish I could cry.)

Tamina beat Natalya

(I saw this match last week. It’s time to give Tamina a Divas Title shot. This is getting good.)

Wade Barrett comes out and talks about winning the Royal Rumble. He announces he will go against Sheamus on next week's show.

(Good heel but bored of his promos.)

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show

(AJ Lee came out with Daniel Bryan for the No DQ, No Count Out main event for the World Title against Big Show. AJ went down in the match from Big Show and had to be taken out on a stretcher by medics. Bryan and Show went on to a No Contest. Who is AJ? Why is she dating DB? Why is Big Show and Mark Henry still in the title picture? Is DB going to be heel? There are too many questions but no real answers.)

I want new things but still like what I saw on Smackdown. I want to see more good shows for Smackdown. Also, what's going on with Sin Cara? No tag team title match on Smackdown. Why is Booker T acting like nothing happened last week? Again more questions than answers but thank god Smackdown will be in Law Vegas for their version of Raw Roulette.

TNA Impact Review 1/12/12

TNA Results for 1/12/12


Show starts with Robert Roode talking smack about Jeff Hardy. Sting comes out and announce rematches from Genesis. So we will see Roode vs Hardy, and Angle vs. Storm.
 (I will call this bullshit because I hate return matches from PPV. I would rather watch these matches on TV than PPV. It is getting old repetitive.)


Mickie James beat Madison Rayne in a cage match.
(I love the match. I love the fact someone shut up Madison Rayne. Also I want to see more ok matches from TNA.)


Matt Morgan and Crimson beat Robbie E. and Robbie T. in a non-title match. Samoa Joe and Magnus attacked the tag champs after the match.
(Joe and Magnus will have these titles soon. Thank god......)


Eric Bischoff comes to the ring and talks aout his son Garett. Garett eventually comes out and says he's proud to be in TNA. The segment ended with Garett grabbing Eric by the collar and shoving him to the corner.
(Don't care......)


ODB with Eric Young beat Winter with Angelina Love.
(This was a funny match because ODB and Eric Young are comical. ODB is starting to rub off on me. Eric Young is making TNA funny to me. Winter and Angelina Love are getting old. I loved the mind control thing but it is pointless now.)


AJ Styles calls Kazarian to the ring. AJ wants to know why Kaz turned on him but Kaz doesn't know why. Daniels comes out. AJ and Daniels end up fighting with Kaz pulling Daniels out of the ring and to the back.
( I am confused as hell with this segment because nothing was not answered. I hope there will be a resolution to this angle soon because I am tired of repetition.)

James Storm comes to the ring to talk about Kurt Angle, who also comes out. Before he can talk, Storm knocks the mic out of his hands. Storm cuts a promo on Angle and wants a rematch. Angle says he is moving onto the World Title when Sting comes out. Storm vs. Angle in a #1 contender's match is announced.
(This is padding for main event. I hate padding for matches.)



James Storm beat Kurt Angle to become the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Another solid match from these two.
(This was a good match. I was shocked. I though that Angle could pull the win but I want to see Storm and Roode.)


Bobby Roode retained the World Title against Jeff Hardy as they fought to a No Contest when Bully Ray ran out and pulled the referee from the ring when Hardy was going for the win.
(This would have been a great title match but Bully Ray fucked that up. I am tired of bullshit at the end of these matches. One winner, that's it.)




I wish I could say I like all of TNA but I basically like it to a point. I think TNA is trying but I doubt it. I am tired of seeing the same things over and over again. I still think TNA is using old WCW scripts. I just hope something changes soon. I don't have to watch TNA but I do because I want to see wrestling. By the way, the key word is wrestling.

(Please note that I took my time to fill in my comments because this was a weak RAW. )


Sheamus & Santino Marella def. Wade Barrett & Jinder Mahal
(This is more of a set-up match. There is going to be a feud with Sheamus and Wade Barrett. This is how they are going to fix the space left by Orton being out for some time. Santino is still funny as hell to me. Jinder is getting old. Stop doing the ethnic heel character. )


World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan def. Kofi Kingston
(Why did this match happen on Raw? Both these guys need to defend their titles. Kofi needs another IC or US Title run. Bryan's time is coming up to be WHC. This was a wasted match.)


Brodus Clay def. Curt Hawkins
(Two questions: Why took them so long to debut Brodus Clay? The other question is: Why is Curt Hawkins still in the WWE? This was the shittest re-debut for a wrestler. I almost wanted to break my tv. No more comments about this match or Brodus.)


WWE Champion CM Punk def. Jack Swagger
(This was a good match but between Johnny Ace getting involved and making the stipulation that Vikki and Swagger is banned if Punk wins. I think CM Punk is being wasted on a dumb storyline with Johnny Ace. I know how this will end. Not good for CM Punk.)

Divas Champion Beth Phoenix vs. Eve did not happen
(Eve came out. No Beth. Kane's music comes on. Zack comes out to save Eve. They get in a car but there is a flat tire. This would have been better if Kane snatched Eve to hell or take her to Hornswoggle dimension.)

Dolph Ziggler def. John Cena (Count-out)
(This was total bullshit. First of all, both Dolph and Cena were out the ring. They did not show Dolph getting back in the ring. Cena runs out to save Zack but he was laid out by Kane. Kane takes out Cena also. Grr.....please don't make this storyline stale already. Cena needs to be heel and Zack needs a real storyline.)


I did not mention HOF announcements of Edge and The Four Horsemen because I want to see the entire list of people going into the HOF. By the way, how in the fuck will Ric Flair be a part of a WWE event if he's in WCW....I mean TNA. Also I did not mention Jericho because he's playing with the fans. I cannot wait until he talks.

Wishlist for 2012 for Wrestling Fans

Dear Wrestling Fans,


This is Gene The Grappler. I decided to write this as a way to hope that this could be a great year for wrestling. I am going to make some valid points about both TNA and WWE. This is my opinion of what I think TNA and WWE should do for 2012. I am going on my opinion and what I see in the cards for various wrestlers. So here's my top ten things that can help and change TNA to be more competitive:

10.) Upgrade the X Division: I think it is good that the X Division is getting back to its roots. I think there needs to be more matches with the X division. Also since WWE is more so looking to older guys, get the kids they reject. Go after Morrison, get Haas and even Shelton Benjamin. Anybody that was stuck in mid card hell with the WWE can help boost the X Division.

9.) Revamp The Womens Division: Please don't do like WWE and get models to wrestle! You got pros like Tara, Jackie, and Mickie James. ODB is a good wrestler also. Even bringing back Gail Kim is a stroke of genius. However, it's time for Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky and others like them to move on. I watch wrestling not america's next top model. If you do keep those models, do something else with it or be consistent with their storylines.

8.) Revamp The Tag Team Division: This applies to both women's and men's. If you have a women's tag title, use it more. Don't waste is by giving it to the women's champion. There needs to be separation with the titles. The men's tag team titles need to be on guys that can wrestle. So why are they on Morgan and Crimson? Please use someone else to get those belts off them and also to make a name for the division.

7.) Retire the old wrestlers: Guys like Sting, Hogan, and Flair needs to not wrestle or be on TV. TNA was built with guys like Styles, Joe, Roode, and Storm. Let Sting retire. Tell Hogan and Flair to go away. Even let go of guys like RVD and the Hardys. TNA needs to use their homegrown talents not use other guys from the past. Learn from WCW and don't use the past.

6.) More events away from the south: I live in Detroit, MI. I use to see WWE, WCW, ECW and even ICP wrestling events. I have never been to a TNA event. They don't come to Detroit. I think they avoid the midwest because they can't book the arenas. There are small venues in Michigan to come to. There are small venues in Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Come to the midwest in the summer. Never in the winter.

5.) Using family to move a storyline: Please stop that right now! I am tired of seeing Devon's kids, Bischoff's son, or anyone else that's related to current talent. What makes you think this will work? We have seen that it does not work. I like wrestling to be more real with storylines but never use family.

4.) Upper Management: Jeff Jarrette and Dixie Carter needs to stay off TV. Dixie Carter cannot act and Jeff Jarrette needs to let go of the spotlight. Like I said above with family, these two needs to not be on tv and use their real life spouses.

3.) More live shows and less taped: I know most people would think this is a crazy ideal but I would love to see more live tv shows. Why is TNA trying to be like old school WCW or ECW. Live is better and at least once a month do something different.Live is how WWE got to be more popular and TNA needs to go live. However, never on Mondays because we know TNA cannot compete with WWE yet.

2.) Move from Thursday to Tuesday. Why? Well if you watch football, you know thart Monday Night Football gets more ratings than most local games on Sunday or even Sunday Night Football. Going with the above suggestion, if you go live on Tuesday and  repeat on Thursday, you give more to Spike TV and also give them something to fill for a crappy show.

1.) The Name: Is this TNA or Impact Wrestling? The name is your product. Example is how WWF changed to WWE. WWF is the World Wildlife Foundation not the World Wrestling Federation. WWE is World Wrestling Entertainment. Stuck with the name that gets people's attention.

I know most will think I have gone crazy but I am hopeful these can and will make help TNA become better in the long run. Also I feel that if these were done, we can stop thinking TNA is another WCW. We don't want another ECW or WCW. We want TNA. Now here's where I get harsher. Here's what I think WWE can do to help their product. This is more to make it bearable to watch. My top ten suggestions to WWE for 2012:

10.) IC and US Title: I am a big fan of Zack Ryder. I am happy that he has a singles title. However, I am not happy that there is not more emphasis on the young talent in the mid card. I don't like Cody Rhodes but I like they brought back the old IC belt. My big pet peeve is that there are a lot of guys in what I call Mid Card hell but not used as much. So get some of these guys out of mid card hell and boost these titles. Here's a great suggestion - more titles matches on Raw and Smackdown and put the title on the line.

9.) Diva's Title: First and foremost - change the name back to Women's Championship. I hate that there are not a lot of womens wrestlers in the WWE. Vince McMahon needs to stop getting models and get actual womens wrestlers. Don't call Trish, Lita and others back. There are a lot of womens wrestlers out there in the indy promotions. Stop getting women that cannot wrestler. Alicia Fox is going to kill herself or someone in the ring. Use more of Beth, Natalya, and even Snuka's daughter.

8.) Tag Teams: We need more guys to be tag teams. Do what TNA just did at their ppv - throw guys that aren't being used for the IC and US titles. You got all those guys from NXT and even FCW. Use them! Air Boom is getting stale. The Usos are being wasted. Primo and Epico are also being wasted. What's sad is that in the last few years of tag teams in WWE, I remember only the guys that were thrown together like ShowMiz, Awesome Truth, even JeriShow. Please get some tag teams together soon.

7.) Stop using past wrestlers to boost ratings: I love nostalgia but not as much as WWE. The Rock, Roddy Piper, Lita, Trish, Booker T., Kevin Nash, and others. In the last few years, there have been more old guys coming back than new talent. Even with people like Mick Foley and Chris Jerricho coming back, where are the new talent? I want the old WWE back but not the watered down version. The Rock is showcasing Wrestlemania 28. Why? Chris Jerricho is going to be a main event player also at WM28. The Undertaker, I hope, is going to retire this year. Let him go 20-0 and leave. Please don't drag him back yearly just to make cash. I want to see guys like Ryder, Barrett, Ziggler, Rhodes, and all those young guys headline WM not Rock, Cena, or even Taker.

6.) Young Talent = Young Champs: I said earlier to get some guys out of mid card hell. Well let's see some young champs. I mean guys like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, and other as champs. Not talking about US or IC but WWE and WHC. It is time for the young generation to get into the spotlight. We saw that in a sense when CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Zack Ryder started Raw after they all won from the last PPV. I don't care about ratings because now a days, people watch WWE but not during the normal days. Young Talent = Young Champs.

5.) Stop using real mangement: I had to Google who the hell was the vice president of talent relations at WWE. I cannot spell his last name but I know him as Johnny Ace so he's Johnny Ace. We have seen in the past Vince, Shane, Steph, and even Jim Ross. So please stop using real management people in storylines. Go back to getting actors or even get some of the old guys like Foley or even Booker T. to become GMs and more. I miss the days of Jack Tunney and Gorilla Monsoon being the figureheads.

4.) More shoot interviews: CM Punk is my idol for 2011 because he caused something to change in a sense for WWE. What he said made great TV. He caused the changes that made it easier for me to watch WWE. I love watching him speak and also ruffle the feathers of Vince and others. He's the reason why Johnny Ace is on TV. So we need more guys to be fed up. I know guys like Rhodes are going to be next. Rhodes is the next one to shoot about his brother and his father. Then I want Miz to get really fed up about being a heel. He's a great heel and needs to be more heelish. Also R-Truth needs to be more honest with fans. I like little Jimmy. He needs to be both a heel with good tendencies. More shoot makes TV easier to watch.

3.) John Cena: In order to write this, I need to make clear....I like Cena of the past. Super Cena sucks. He needs to change his gimmick quick. Cena follows a long line of guys that Vince wants to be his golden goose. Starting from Hogan in 1983 and to Cena now, these guys are great as faces but eventually they have to be a heel. Cena needs to be a heel. With him facing the Rock, we need a heel Cena. Shawn Michaels did it with Hogan and Taker. Cena is great with kids and women but men want to kick his ass. I rather watch Orton or even the young guys because Cena is the new Hogan. Don't believe me? Go on YouTube and try to find the five moves of death. Hogan had three moves.

2.) Annoucing Teams: Bring back Jim Ross! Fire Michael Cole! Stop losing guys to ESPN. I am laughing that guys like The Coach and now Josh Matthews are doing real reporting on ESPN. Michael Cole needs to be a commentator not a wrestler. Same with Jim Ross. Lawler is the king, period. New talent is needed to interview the talent. Here's a thought: Get Alicia Fox or The Bellas to do an interview with the guys. Use them for something other than wrestling.

1.) Slowly get out of the PG Era: This is last for one reason.....this is the most obivious suggestion. Don't tell me they can't because once Kmart/Sears lose money they will be doing more adult themes. We all know they don't have real competition but MMA is more realistic and geared to men. Kids watch WWE but they watch old WWE. They watch old DX and other past things. PG in wrestling is funny because you got more botches. I laugh because PG is not clear to me. WWE is on cable TV. We all know Cable tv is more for grown ups. You can watch shows like Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, and The Closer and those are PG or higher. Wrestling is not PG. I know the WWE want to appeal to all but you have to pick who. Stop alienating those who love what you use to do not what parents groups want you to do. If you don't like WWE I got three words for you.....turn it off!


As a fan, I know some of these changes or suggestions will not come right away but I know for 2012, try to do some of them. I guarantee that some of these will work instantely and others will take time. So I hope this is a good thing for me to say these things and for all of you to comment on it. Thanks for reading.

WWE Smackdown Results 1/6/12

(Note: Even though these are taped results, the actual show can and will be changed
without notice.)

WWE SmackDown 1/6/12:

Cody Rhodes retains the Intercontinental Title against Booker T in the opener. They had
a lengthy match. Cody hit the Beautiful Disaster after blocking the axe kick for the win.
Then backstage segment with Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Cody says he is better than
Goldust ever was and will be better than Dusty one day. (I knew this would happen
because they want this angle to pick up some steam. Also they are slowly involving
Goldust to make the match I want to see: Goldust vs. Cody at WM 28.)

Zack Ryder is backstage talking with Teddy Long and says he's too busy to work for
Teddy. Drew McIntyre came in as did Santino Marella. Teddy makes Drew vs. Santino.
Santino will be Teddy's new assistant if he wins and Drew will be fired. If Drew wins,
Teddy might not fire him. Aksana appears at the end. (Zach is off to better things than to
be an assistant. Also, the whole angle of him being the assistant was getting lame.
Santino is better at being the comic foil and also he's getting old. However, the cobra will
live on forever. Poor Drew....slow ride to mid card hell. )

Backstage segment with AJ Lee and Alicia Fox. Daniel Bryan comes in and they talk
about his match against Big Show. (Boring.....)

Hornswoggle won an Over The Top Challenge against Heath Slater. Slater attacked
Hornswoggle afterwards until Justin Gabriel made the save. (WTF does not even begin to
show how this is stupid to fans. Also now we got former factions members fueding.
Neither one of these guys have enough skills to be alone. SMH at this match.)

Hunico beat Ted DiBiase. (Why? DiBiase is not a jobber....)

Wade Barrett comes out and talks about he will win the Royal Rumble while Randy
Orton watches from home. Sheamus interrupts. After a verbal exchange, Jinder Mahal
comes out. Barrett leaves and it is Mahal and Sheamis face to face. Mahal slaps Sheamus.
A brawl ensues and it ends up two on one with Barrett and Mahal against Sheamus.
Sheamus gets the edge briefly before Barrett takes over and leaves. Mahal then put the
camel clutch on Sheamus. (Barrett is on his way to being a great heel and also a champ
soon. Sheamus is getting close to mid card hell. The token Arab is getting old.)

Santino Marella beat Drew McIntyre. Santino became the new assistant to the general
manager with the win, while McIntyre's career on Smackdown is in jeopardy. (Santino
Wins! That's good. Poor Drew....)

Primo and Epico (w/Rosa Mendes) beat Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston in a non-title
match. A good tag match, according to Terrence. The usual high flying from Air Boom.
The Colons work well together. Epico got the pin after Evan missed AirBourne. (I almost
forgot that Air Boom was the tag team champs. That's because I did not think those titles
matter. Also Air Boom needs to split. No one cares. Primo and Epico needs the belts.)

Tamina beat Natalya. The match was one sided and The Warrior Princess picked up the
win. (Explain to me why this diva match is on Smackdown but we got the skinny chicks
on Raw. I rather see this match on Raw.)

Daniel Bryan defeated Big Show by DQ in a World Hvt. Championship match. Mark
Henry interfered for the DQ. (Everyone knew DB was not going to win this match clean.
I know that Royal Rumble, DB will lose the title to either big men. One question, why
does WWE hate DB so much?)

This was an ok show. Better than TNA last night. What kills me is that most of these guys are not on Raw. The divas match tonight was good. So I guess I can sleep until Monday.

TNA Impact Results 1/5/12

(Note: I am a harsher critique of TNA than WWE because I feel TNA is reading WCW/
ECW playbook. I also feel that too many guys are making the product look worse. This is
the first show of 2012 that does not show Hogan, Bischoff, or even Dixie Carter. I am not
a big fan of Sting but he's getting boring and old. So I hope these blogs will either make
me like TNA more or make me hate it even more.)

Gail Kim and Madison Rayne beat Mickie James and Traci Brooks in a solid Knockouts
match.(Why is it that TNA can make former WWE Divas look good? I guess because
they actually wrestle not look good for the men. Also Why is Madison Rayne so
annoying? This was a good match but still feel like Madison Rayne needs to shut the fuck up. )

Sting calls Jeff Hardy to the ring and gives him props for getting trust back. Sting
continues to put Hardy over and says he supports him 100%. Kurt Angle, Bully Ray and
Bobby Roode interrupt. James Storm eventually comes out with Abyss and interrupts
them. This sets up a six-man match for tonight's main event. (Sting is getting on my
nervous already for 2012. Jeffy Hardy is trying his damndest to clean up his act unlike his
brother. Angle needs to quit because his neck is going to break soon. Bully Ray sucks!
And Roode and Storm needs to wrestle more because they can give a good match. Abyss
is like WWE Kane, except Kane is getting cooler again. Weak last match...)

Gunner and Rob Van Dam wrestled until Gunner tried to piledrive RVD on the concrete
like he has been doing. RVD fought him off and officials ran down to make the save for
Gunner. (So who won? I did not think the pile driver was legal in wrestling anymore.
This is weak but it's a paycheck for RVD.)

Jesse Sorensen and Zema Ion beat Kid Kash and Austin Aries. (This is a good
match to watch but if not it is something to see on Botchamania.)

Samoa Joe and Magnus beat Kaz and AJ Styles in the finals of the Wild Card Tag Team
tournament. It appears Kaz is turning on AJ and joining Daniels as Kaz cost AJ the match
for their team. (This was a good match but saw the turn backstage.)

Abyss, James Storm and Jeff Hardy wrestled Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle and Bully Ray to
a no contest. The end of the match was chaos as Ray hung Abyss off the ring with a
chain, Roode applied the crossface on Hardy and Angle put Storm in the ankle lock to
end the show. (Weak last match. No winner? Why? This is getting to be a bad start to to
2012 for TNA but what else is new. )

John Cena/Kane Opening Segment: I am tired of hearing Cena being a kiss ass to the fans and to

the sponsors. Thank god Kane is good at being bad. I have been a fan of Kane and love that he's

back for one more run.

(Match#1) Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes: Both these guys will be defending their titles on

Smackdown this friday. My question is why is this an opening match for Raw? I know people don't

like Daniel Bryan but he's a good wrestler. Also why is Cody Rhodes wrestling Booker T? My god, I

could book WWE better. DB wins with a small package? My inner Miz is screaming:

REALLY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Backstage Promo for Miz/R-Truth: So glad that R-Truth is back. However, I think R-Truth should be

joining Miz not fighting him. R-Truth is a hell not a face. The Miz is funny to watch but R-Truth

got all the Jimmies.

Promo for Royal Rumble 1988: Did not know Hacksaw Jim Duggan won it. So why did they not get him

a title push. No!!!!!!!!!

(Match#2) Wade Barrett vs. Santino Marella: I was laughing at Barrett and Orton from last week on

Smackdown. You never want to see two men fight in an elevator. We all know Orton will miss WM28

because of this match. My question is why am I seeing another Smackdown wrestler on Raw? I love

the Cobra. I wish I could do it without laughing my ass off. This is basically a squash match for

Barrett. Another weak match...I will say again: I could book Raw better.


Backstage Promo for Miz/R-Truth#2:Miz and Bella Twins are talking. I don't see why men think they

are hot. They are very annoying. Love the puchline to not seeing R-Truth but seeing little Jimmy.

R-Truth stalks Miz.

(Match#3) Sheamus vs. Miz: Ok Match. I love the Great White but waiting for a wrestler to use the

bad black gimmick. I don't know if this ended in countout or no contest. R-Truth interfers but

what kills me is he had a kil that look like Bieber be a little Jimmy. Holy shit, that was funny.

Backstage Promo for Ryder/Swagger: Ryder is trying to get his mack on. Swagger is boring me now.

Johnny Ace makes a weak 6 man tag match. See final match of Raw.

(WWE Championship/Match#4) CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler: Ziggler = #GayHeel. Guerrero =

#sicktostomach. CM Punk = #ClobberingTime. This was a good match until Johnny Ace comes to be a

wet blanket. Johnny Ace does not like CM Punk. Johnny Ace is trying to set up CM Punk. I hate

Johnny Ace. Ziggler wins via countout. Weak. However, my inner spirit squad says: Nicky!!!!!

Promo for Royal Rumble 1995: Loved Shawn Michaels way to win this Royal Rumble. I miss those days

!

(Divas Tag Team/Match#5) The Bella Twins vs. Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres: Do not like Bellas but

did love the spandex they wore tonight. Not a big fan of KK but slowly working on it. Eve is hot

on TV. This is when I go get something to drink or eat. Not a big fan of these matches or these

women. Twin magic strikes again. Bellas win. Why does seeing a woman pin another woman sexy to

me? Sorry had a pervert moment.

Backstage Promo for CM Punk/Johnny Ace: Ziggler vs. Punk for Royal Rumble. Johnny Ace is guest

ref. Beat you like bitch sums up this segment. CM Punk got the mic charged for a pipe bomb.

1/2/12 Promo (Return of Y2J) : I hope this is not a big letdown. Who is it? Could it be....Y2J.

You know what? I can get with this. Hmm....I smell title shot for the Y2J. No retirement for

Jerricho. One more shot for this icon. BTW: Y2J lost his mind.

(Match #6) John Cena, Zack Ryder, Big Show and vs. Kane, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry: I despise

these matches because these are usually matches for after Raw goes off the air. I said that I

could book Raw better. This would not be the last match. Love Big Show. I met him once. Never

interrupt him while eating. Almost shit on myself. Ryder is funny as fuck to me. Love the

gimmick. Super Cena makes me sick as shit. Mark Henry needs to retire. Swagger is boring. I love

Kane. I am warped so I tend to like guys like Kane and Taker. David Otunga needs to either

wrestle or quit. So Kane is out but I smell run in at the end. So this is a 3 on 2 handicap

match. Cena cheers make me laugh. However, ECW One Night Stand made Cena look like a bitch.

Seeing Show and Henry fight is like watching two dogs fight. Show and Henry gets eliminated after

Show hits Henry with a chair. Cena wins for the team. This was bogus and weak. Kane came through

the ring. Kane's new choke move is sick. I think Kane needs to set him on fire. Kane is about to

take out Ryder. Kane is dragging Ryder to hell but Super Cena makes the save. Kane is my hero.
