WWE Raw Review 2/27/12

Note:  Unlike my other Raw Reviews, this is going to be short and sweet for this week. I decided that after last week’s clusterfuck, this week I am not going to be as excited or as hopeful. We know that The Rock will respond to John Cena’s comments from last week. We know that CM Punk and Y2J will have words. We also know that the Hoeski known as Eve will show her true colors. With all that and more, we should get a good Raw but we will see. Here’s WWE Raw…..

Match#1: Sheamus & Big Show def. Mark Henry & Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes
(This is another warm up match for Shemus to not only show that he’s going to win at WM 28 but he’s also going to be WHC. Big Show does not show signs that he’s slowing down but I know better. IC Champ needs to put his title up for grabs soon or it is basically a worthless title. Mark Henry is still a force to be messed with but sad to say that his time is up soon.  This was a good match but not great. )

Match#2: WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico def. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth and Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger
(OMG! Tag Team Match on Raw? What? I was so shocked to see this. Especially, since there is not enough teams to take on the champions. Kofi and Truth does work better together than Air Boom. Ziggler and Swagger does have good teamwork. The champs are great but they do need real competition. This was something to lift my spirits up for the tag team division of WWE.)

Match#3: John Cena def. The Miz
(I have seen this match so many times in 2009 and 2010 that I got tired of it. I am thankful that this time around it was pointless. Cena is getting ready to face The Rock. The Miz is getting ready to be stuck in mid card hell. This was a good match but pointless.)

Match#4: Kelly Kelly def. Nikki Bella
(I love Divas matches. Especially, if the matches makes sense to me. This does not make sense to me. I say that because not only does Kelly Kelly is basically the female equivalent of John Cena but she’s put in the backburner to Beth Phoenix. Bellas are hot but they cannot wrestle. Kelly Kelly can wrestle somewhat. This was a dumb match. I guess we will see good Divas wrestling on Smackdown. )

Main Event: WWE Champion CM Punk vs. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan ended in a No Contest
(I saw this match last Tuesday on Smackdown. I guess this is déjà vu.  I feel bad for both champs because they can wrestle. This is more shit for WrestleMania matches for both Raw and Smackdown. I said my peace on this match last week. I won’t repeat myself.)

My opinion of what Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said on WWE Raw: I like what I hear and saw from The Rock. I don’t think he does any bad promos. Vince needed him to help boost WrestleMania 28. I am happy to see him wrestle. He can act but he’s a wrestler first to me. I think it is creative to use the phrase, “Boots To Asses”. Most of what he said last night was honest, and heartfelt. I think most of the hype of this match with Cena is because Cena is going to be booed like he did at ECW’s One Night Stand in 2005. I honestly think this is better than The Rock and Hogan because there is so much backstage and on camera shit going on.  By the way, Kung Pow Bitch is trending on Twitter.  I was glad to see Cena come down after The Rock basically punked him. When John Cena comes out though, I think most of the time Cena is trying to be PG. This is making John Cena more like the old Cena. Sad to say that most of the things in WWE Raw might be more than PG now but if they want to keep their toy deals, it will go back to kid friendly stuff. John Cena did make it clear that he does not like him and vice versa. Great promo by The Rock and Cena should have stayed.

Other In Ring and Backstage Notes: Next week, HBK is coming back on WWE Raw. That’s good because that will further hype HHH and Taker. I want to see HBK. I want to see him basically get involved in the match. Also I guess we will find out what the board of directors (Vince and Steph) will do about the GMs of Raw and Smackdown.  As for Eve, well I like her videos when she’s not being her on camera persona. However, why they made her a heel is a good question. She’s not a heel. I think most of this is because of Vince and his warped perception of what people should be popular.

Final Thoughts: Well this was a good Raw especially after last week. I think part of it is because of The Rock. Last week was good but this week was better. I think I said most of what I felt in my heart was right in the matches and the end. So see you guys for Smackdown and Impact.

WWE Smackdown Review 2/21/12

Note: This Smackdown is live. That means I am doing this review on Tuesday not on Friday. There were many questions on Raw that was not answered. I hope this is the show that will answer it. Most of the Raw events for WrestleMania 28 are set. So aside from the WHC title match, we need to know what Smackdown is going to do for WrestleMania 28. There are some other things I would like to know. So I hope this is a good Smackdown because it is live. Sad to say that Botchamania will be recording this Smackdown because I got a feeling there will be a lot of fuck ups on this show. So here's the live showing of WWE Smackdown.

Opening Segment: Daniel Bryan comes out with AJ. He talks about being in WrestleMania and how he beat five men at the PPV last Sunday. He also talks about taking out Sheamus at WrestleMania 28. The Miz comes out to congratulate Bryan and to remind him that he trained him during NXT. Sheamus comes out and talks to Daniel Bryan. He reminds Miz that he's not in the main event at WrestleMania 28. Daniel Bryan slaps Sheamus. The Miz tries to take out Sheamus but he's thrown out the ring.

Match#1: Sheamus vs. The Miz
Winner:  Sheamus
(This was basically a good way to start Smackdown even though the match was made during the commercial break. This is another warm up match for Sheamus because he will be in the SD Main Event. The Miz is on his way to being in the place I call mid card hell. I feel so sorry for the Miz because he is good but he's getting screwed.)

Match#2: Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler
Winner:  Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler
(This was a sloppy tag team match. This was put together so badly that I basically changed channels. I like all the men involved but this was a sloppy match. Even watching the ending made me wish this was a different kind of match.)

Match#3: Drew McIntyre vs. The Great Khali
Winner:  The Great Khali
(This was a squash match for Khali because we are seeing the gimmick of Drew to be a loser. Here's another person with great talent but is going to be put in mid card hell. I could have booked this match better but they don't pay me to book matches in WWE.)

Match#4: Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Winner:  Big Show by KO
(Cody Rhodes tries to distract Big Show but he still KOs Henry. The actual hit look too real. the KO he did to Henry last week was sick. Even Teddy Long was like dayum. This is going to be a rivalry that won't end. And another rivalry is beginning.)

Match#5: Ezekiel Jackson vs. David Otunga
Winner: David Otunga
(This was a repeat of Raw last night. So I guess this is the same result from last night. I think I had deja vu watching this match. This is basically a dumb ass match. I am tired of David Otunga and they are making Big Zeke a fucking joke. So they put Big Zeke in mid card hell. Damn you to hell!)

Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk (Champion vs. Champion)
Winner: Double Pinfall
(Even though this match was already done on Raw, I think it is better on Smackdown because the crowd was more into the match. Even though I think most of the crowd is not piped in. The match was restarted because Sheamus interfered. Johnny Ace does not run Smackdown. This was bullshit. For the second time, this match was restarted. So now we got both Johnny Ace and Teddy Long restarting matches. Again this is bullshit. The end comes with a melee with both GMs ready to fight and both champs confused.)

Final Thoughts: This is the first Smackdown live that I have saw in like a year or two. Unlike Raw, this is different with matches and other things. We saw the comic genius of Santino take out Heath Slater with the Cobra. There was no Randy Orton at all. Even Teddy Long is getting pushed out of Smackdown by Johnny Ace and David Otunga. I love the fact that Smackdown was live but why are we repeating some matches from last night's Raw. Also why is there no Randy Orton? I mean no Rey Mysterio, no Sin Cara, and no Alberto Del Rio and no Christian. What the fuck is going on? Smackdown was suppose to uplift my hopes not make me feel worse. By the way, why is Chris Brown talking shit with CM Punk? Really? Really? OMG! If TNA Impact is better this week than both Raw and Smackdown then I think WrestleMania 28 is going to be shit even with a good card.

WWE Raw Review 2/20/12

Note: This is the first Raw after the Elimination Chamber PPV. This is the last few weeks before WrestleMania 28. So these next few weeks, we should be seeing a huge push to WrestleMania 28 as a whole. So more hype for The Rock and Cena. Less hype for Punk and Jericho. And a shit load of idiotic things that might make me pissed. So with all that said, here's WWE Raw and the final stops to WrestleMania 28 in Miami.

Opening Segment: Recap of John Cena/Zack Ryder/Eve drama from last week. Eve talks to The Bella Twins and comes up with a plan to set up Cena. She asks the Bellas to help her but Cena over hears the plan. Cena is in the ring and Eve comes out after him. She tells Cena it was a joke and she was not serious. Cena falls for it and Eve tries to kiss him but he fights it and refs were called in to get her out the ring. She's crying throughout.
(There were some memorable lines like Skank Juice, Hoeski, and ASSets. Also Cena is showing some signs of the old Cena. He also compares Eve and The Rock and says they should hook up because they're both scandalous bitches. This was the best way to start Raw but Cena had the moment of his life later on.)

Match#1: Sheamus vs. Mark Henry
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a good way to start the matches for Raw. This was a good match but slow. Mark Henry looks like he is healed from his ankle injury. Also Sheamus is pretty much going to rip and tear through people until WM28. Sheamus is looking to to win the WHC but we will see. This is a good sign that one match for WrestleMania is not going to suck.)

Match#2: R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs. The Colons (Non-Title)
winners: R-Truth and Kofi Kingston
(This was a weak match because The Colons were jobbing to R-Truth and Kofi. This was not going to be a good match. There is really nothing else to say about this match because this was a filler match.)

Match#3: David Otunga with Johnny Ace vs. Ezekiel Jackson with Teddy Long
Winner:  David Otunga
(This was another filler match but there might be some serious issues with Johnny Ace and Teddy Long. They both want to be GM of both Raw and Smackdown. Is this a sign of the end of the brand extension? Also with the events of last night at the PPV, this is going to be a good race to see who is going to be top dog of WWE. Also this might bring ratings to both shows. We will see.)

Match#4: Daniel Bryan vs. Santino Marella (Non-Title)
Winner:  Daniel Bryan
(This match sucked. It was short and sweet. Saving energy for the main event. Also both were still hurting from last night at the PPV. I hate short matches.)

Match#5: Kelly Kelly and Aksana vs. The Bella Twins
Winners: The Bellas
(This was another short match. Not much action because of the shortness of it. Bellas win and then get ready for the main event. WTF! I like to see a Divas match to go at least five to seven minutes with commercials.)

Main Event: 10 Man Battle Royal to face CM Punk at WrestleMania 28
Winner and #1 Contender: Chris Jericho with an assist from Cody Rhodes
(This was a good way to end Raw. Y2J got help from Cody Rhodes. I guess there is not Cody vs. Goldust match but then again we might see something with Cody Rhodes and The Big Show. Also Y2J is going to be a great opponent for CM Punk. This is another match that I hope won't suck at WrestleMania 28. We will see.)

Matches Announced For WM28:

Undertaker vs. Triple H (Hell In A Cell Retirement Match)
(This is a dream for me because this is going to be the last of the good matches for WrestleManias. Triple H was going to be a coward but since HBK did not do the job at WM26 then Triple H might take Taker out at WrestleMania 28. Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania is going to be a great match. This is not something for the PG Era. This is for the Attitude Era and us old school WWE fans that want to see this match.)

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan (WHC Title Match)
(This match is basically a good way to get the belt off Daniel Bryan. Also Sheamus could make this a great run even after WrestleMania 28. Daniel Bryan is a good heel right now. He's not letting nothing change him back. His whole stick is making me hate him. As for Sheamus, he's ready to get out of mid card hell and in the main event. Thank you God!)

HOF 2012: Ron Simmons
(I marked out for this because I think he should have been in a long time ago. I loved this man back in the old WCW. I loved him with JBL as the APA. He was a great wrestler. This is going to be a great Hall of Fame Class of 2012 with him, Edge, and the Four Horsemen.)

Final Thoughts: I know I left out a lot of the in ring stuff and the backstage stuff. I will talk about it in here right now. Basically, Johnny Ace wants to take over Smackdown. Something I did not bring up was the formation of this group by Johnny Ace. You had Mark Henry, Alberto Del Rio, Christian, and David Otunga in the ring during the PPV. So there is going to be a fight for the whole WWE with Teddy Long and Johnny Ace. This might be a good thing. Something that might make things interesting. Y2J basically said he would win the main event and face Punk for the WWE title. I loved his in ring promotion because he is a great heel. I loved the fact he fucked with us the fans, just to get to his title shot. Triple H and Taker was a great segment because Taker basically wants to retire and he wants Triple H to end the streak. This was a great segment because I am ready for the end of Taker and the streak. Finally, John Cena is going back to the old Cena because his promo before the main event. He basically thinks The Rock is a sell out and goes on a rant about him being a professional wrestler and how he's still in the WWE while the Rock is a movie star. I loved this because it seems like Cena is doing something other than embrace the hate.

My final thoughts of this Raw is that most of the matches sucked but the in ring promos basically stole the show. Triple H and Taker blew my mind because we all knew this match was going to happened. The Rock and Cena is starting to look like The Rock and Hogan but with more intense feeling because of the general hatred between Cena and The Rock. I feel like there should have been an even mix of good matches and good promos but most of the guys were hurting from last night. Also, why is there going to be a fight between Raw and Smackdown via the GM position. Well I guess we will see what goes on because tomorrrow is a special Smackdown because it is live. So hopefully some of these questions will be answered on Smackdown.

Fans and Friends of Gene The Grappler....

Dear Fans and Friends of Gene The Grappler:

As I have been doing these reviews of WWE and TNA programming, I came to the realization that I am excluding some shows. Mainly it is the C and D shows of WWE. Thank god TNA does not have any other shows because if they did, I might have to become an alcoholic. The shows I am refering to are WWE Superstars and WWE NXT. It has come to my attention that NXT is set up like WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown. NXT has a GM of sorts and uses the developmental talent of the WWE. WWE Superstars features the low level mid card talent. If you read my blog about mid card hell, then you know this is something of a weird area I don't want to go. The reason for this blog is to explain why should I spend time reviewing NXT and Superstars. I will keep this short and sweet because the sheer though of this subject scares me.

1.) What do I gain by reviewing Superstars and NXT?: If you read my blogs/reviews of WWE and TNA, you see that if I like something then I will talk about it and if I hate it, I go ape shit. So what do I gain from tell you all what's going on with Superstars and NXT? Would you all like for me to go uber ape shit about the sheer nonsense of these shows?

2.) Would you all want to see me talk about these shows? I started these wrestling blogs to vent my opinion of wrestling related shows. Notice, I say wrestling shows because UFC/MMA is cut and dry. Wrestling is not. NXT and Superstars are wrestling shows even though one is basically a review of the week's events and the other is basically a rookie show. So would you like for me to talk about these shows even though I have to write about the madness of WWE and TNA?

3.) Could I be objective in reviwing these shows? WWE Raw and Smackdown alone takes four hours to not only watch but the insanity of those shows alone takes longer to write. TNA is two hours that seem like three long hours because of the breaks and also the shitty backstage stuff. So could I be objective? Not really because I am trying not to seem like an ass or a bastard while watching wrestling but since most of these shows make me want to chuck my TV out the window, I think I could.

I know I am still starting out with this but I hope someone or several people will let me know what to do. If not, then I will do what's best for this blog site. Also, please bear in mind that if you think I am bad with three shows, I might be worse with five shows. If TNA ever does a second show, then I might have to check into a hospital and bounce off the fucking walls. So hopefully, I get some feedback into expanding or shrinking Gene The Grappler Blogs.

Dear TNA Knockouts

Dear TNA Knockouts,

Hello Ladies! I am a fan of most of your work in the ring. Some of you I watched in the WWE but the rest are TNA home grown. As I write this letter to you all, I feel not only as a wrestling fan but a man in general, I feel that I need to write this. I say that because most of you are good women wrestlers. However, some of you pretty much suck as wrestlers. You see women like So Cal Val doing interviews and Christie Hemme doing ring announcing. There are some of you that I feel needs to retire or go away. Others, I think need to retire and do something else. The few that are left over can work on new gimmicks and new feuds with people. Now it is going to be hard to do this letter to you all and break down what I feel needs to be done. So I will break it down to three major points. These points I hope get through to you all. Also this letter does include the current champion Gail Kim and the knockout tag team champs. These are the key points I feel could help you ladies out:

1.) Retire the Knockout Tag Team Championships: Why do you ladies need to have a tag team title? Nothing against you all but I think it is hard to have a male tag team championship. I really forgot who is the tag champs right now. That's bad because I have a good memory of title reigns. So with that said, retired the tag champs. Less is better and there are a lot of you that can't wrestle alone so wrestling as a tag team is a recipe for a clusterfuck.

2.) Some of you need to go: Ladies like Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Miss Tresmacher, Rosita and Sarita and others. This is going to be simple to you ladies: you can't wrestle! You girl are great to look at but scary to watch. You have a counterpart in WWE like you. Her name is Alicia Fox. She can and will hurt you and leave you with bruises. Same goes with some of you. I think watching you is like watching someone about to get their ass beat for fucking up in the ring. So just leave TNA....Don't go to WWE but just do indy shows or go away.

3.) Older TNA Knockouts: Women like ODB, Tara, Gail Kim, Winter, Mickie James and the others. I am not going to suggest you retire but you will sooner or later. You all can wrestle. Some can do more than what TNA limits you on. Some of you ladies were in WWE and can do some crazy shit in the ring. They say wine ages with time. Same goes with you ladies but you are better and make fans want more in the ring. With that said, just do what you gotta do but don't wait too long to retire with dignity.

With all that said, I know things won't change right away but just like your male counterparts, you ladies don't want to be wrestling in your sixties and seventies. Also, smaller groups will help in the long run. As a fan, I just hope that this is taken to heart and people see that you women of TNA can do more if you had less and not involved in some idiotic feuds. That you for reading and thank you for the good wrestling.

Gene The Grappler

Dear WWE Divas

Dear WWE Divas,

Hello Ladies! I am a fan of most of your work in the ring. Some of you I watched for years and some of you are new to me. As I write this letter to you all, I feel not only as a wrestling fan but a man in general, I feel that I need to write this. I say that because most of you are good women wrestlers. However, some of you pretty much suck as wrestlers. You see women like Vikki Guerrero managing and occasionally wrestle or Lillian Garcia doing ring announcing. There are some of you that I feel needs to go away ASAP. The few that are left over can work on new gimmicks and new feuds with people. Now it is going to be hard to do this letter to you all and break down what I feel needs to be done. So I will break it down to three major points. These points I hope get through to you all. Also this letter does include the current champion Beth Phoenix. These are the key points I feel could help you ladies out:

1.) Retire the Divas Title and Go Back To The Womens Title: If you want creditability in the WWE get rid of the goofy title and go back to basics. Beth is not a diva, she's a wrestler and a woman. She is power and finese. She is not dainty or prissy. A Diva might be a bitch but WWE does not have bitches but women sports entertainers. So please entertain us by getting the belt back to normal.

2.) Some of you need to go away now!: Ladies like Alicia Fox, AJ, Rosa Mendes, and others. This is going to be simple to you ladies: you can't wrestle! You girl are great to look at but scary to watch. The main one that needs to go is Alicia Fox. She can and will hurt you and leave you with bruises. Same goes with some of you. I think watching you is like watching someone about to get their ass beat for fucking up in the ring. So just do something else. Manage a wrestler, or sell some merchandise but don't wrestle or entertain.

3.) Women related to popular wrestlers: Women like Natalya and Tamina. You girls and others like you need to milk the hell out of the fact that your relatives were greats and you ladies needs to be great. Not shitty great but golden great. Like with the champ, you ladies need to be creditable to make names out of yourselves.

With all that said, I know things won't change right away but just like your male counterparts, you ladies don't want to be wrestling in your sixties and seventies. Also, smaller groups will help in the long run. As a fan, I just hope that this is taken to heart and people see that you women of WWE can do more if you had less and not involved in some idiotic feuds. Or worse, have a dumb farting gimmick. That you for reading and thank you for the good wrestling.

Dear Triple H (WrestleMania 28)

Dear Triple H,

I am a huge fan of yours. I know that you are busy running WWE and keeping the guys and gals in order. However, I want to talk to you about challenging the Undertaker one more time. I know Shawn Michaels has tried talking to you about this. However, as a fan I want to ask you to reconsider your apprehension about possibly ending the streak. I figure since you are a busy person, I will keep it simple to three key items you can think about so you can and will change your mind about taking on the dead man. Here are those three simple keys I spoke of:

1.) You will have to give in to Taker's demands: Taker is going to use manipulation to convince you to either take him on or get you so mad that you will cave in. So avoid this by simply saying yes. Sometimes, it is easy to say yes than struggle to say no.

2.) You will have to end the streak: Taker is 20-0. You might have caused him to not walk out last WrestleMania but if you want to do this, you would have to snap the streak. You would have to do more than what you did last year. You might have to take him to the limits.

3.) You might have to destroy the brand: The last three or four WrestleManias, there have been legendary men whose careers have ended. Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Edge and others have had their careers end at Wrestlemania. The Undertaker could be next if you take him out. Both you and him would be legends in the process. Think of what you and him could do in the match. Besides, we all know you and Taker is a better match than Cena and The Rock.

I hope you will at least keep these in mind when you make the right choice. I am a singular fan but I know all of us in the WWE Universe will be behind you. If you don't then just remember that the fans want to see you wrestle one more time. Thank you for listening.

Gene The Grappler

Dear R-Truth

Dear R-Truth,

I am a beginning to like you as a sports entertainer. It took me a while to accept the fact that you are few pennies short of a dollar. I know that it has been hard to hear the fans with them chanting what to you. I also know that you have an imaginary fan name Little Jimmy. Please know that I am not this Little Jimmy you speak of. I am a fan of sports entertainment and of you. I am writing you this letter to give you some sound advice as to what to do so you can become a better sports entertainer. Most fans would not do this but I care about the man I admire. So here are some steps to become a champion and also keep the fans in your corner:

1.) Find Little Jimmies: You need to find these Little Jimmies and get his advice on who to beat to become a champion. Little Jimmies have moved on from John Cena, so you need to get the Little Jimmies of the world and get them to rally and advise you.

2.) Harnest your inner what: Just like Stone Cold Steve Austin, you need to harnest the inner what inside you. Don't tell the  crowd to stop saying what but harnest the power and gain the fans attention. By doing this you will have the crowd's attention and gain more popularity.

3.) Listen to the other voices: If Orton can hear the voices then you should as well. Those voices are not telling you to kill but to pin your opponent to the ground. Don't ignore the voices but hear them and do what the good voices tell you. No more evil voices.

4.) It's ok to be a good R-Truth: I know you don't want to be the good R-Truth but it is ok to be good. Someone once told me that it is ok to be good. A good R-truth is good to the fans. You want to be good for the fans.

5.) Go for the gold, R-Truth!: We need to get some gold on your waist. Not the gold in your mouth but the gold that CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, or even Jack Swagger has right now. We need to get some gold and become champion. The fans would love it but don't let the gold ruin you.

As simple as those were to write, it should be simple to follow this advice. As a fan, I hope that 2012 is good for you. Lord knows you don't need to be put in a rubber room or in a straight jacket. So as a fan, I hope this is going to help you. If not, then Little Jimmy will cry for days. Thank you for reading this.

WWE Elimination Chamber PPV 2/19/12

Note: This is not going to be like my other blogs because this is going to be short and sweet. The reason why this is going to be different is because I am partially disappointed with this PPV. More so, I am disappointed in the content of the PPV and the overall outcome of the PPV. This is why I am old school and think that WWE could save money by cutting down PPVs down to 6 instead of 12. Also, by reading my opinion of each match, you will see what matches I liked and which ones wasted my time. So we go WWE Elimination Chamber or I want to call it: Filler To Wrestlemania.

These matches might not be in order but these are basically the matches in the PPV. You have to love WWE for giving us not alot to see.

Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Title: The Great Khali vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett vs. Santino Marella vs. Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan
(I forgot what order people were eliminated but this was a so so match. Watching the Great Khali in the ring made me wish he was a creditable threat, however he was just there to pad the match. Cody Rhodes is a great wrestler but he needs to do more to become something his father was not: Main Eventer. The IC title needs to be challenged soon. Wade Barrett was kind of wasted in this match because he was suppose to be the focus of Randy Orton. Maybe we will see Orton and Barrett at WM 28. Big Show and DB are the core of this match because it is the proverbial David vs. Goliath story. DB is becoming a heel and I like that he's getting into the role. Big Show is starting to show signs that he might want to retire soon. Poor Santino was the comic foil but also the saddest thing in the ring. I like him and it was nice to get that spotlight but it's not his thing. )

Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Title: Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. CM Punk
Winner and Still WWE Champion CM Punk
(Unlike the WHC title match, this was a better title match. Dolph is still going to be the showoff. Dolph is going to be a champion this year but not until after WM28. Dolph got my respect for this match. Jericho has not lost a step. Y2J is still a main eventer. The mind games he played on all of us did work but the presentation was too long. Also he did remind us that most of the other guys in the ring are doing the same thing he was doing for years. The Miz is off to mid card hell. I hope that if he does get out. He's a great heel and a better heel champion. He just needs to make sure he catches people. Kofi definately needs a title soon. Mainly a IC or US title soon. He's not ready for the main event but he's close. R-Truth is my main because he can pull off the crazy stick. He is getting more and more funny and more and more good in the ring. I hope he get's a legitimate title push. He could be on Smackdown but I think he's better live. Finally, CM Punk is my champion. I like his in-ring presence. CM Punk is going to be just like Edge but I hope CM Punk does not have to retire early. )

John Cena vs. Kane (Ambulance Match)
Winner: John (Super) Cena
(I hope this match is the last match with this sorry ass story line. Super Cena needs to focus on The Rock. Kane did his best to get John Cena to become a heel. I guess either at WM 28 or later this year, we will see Evil Cena. Until this, this was a good match. Anything that involves brutality is better than sorry ass matches. I hope this is it because if not, I might not want to see WM 28.)

United States Champion Tile Match: Jack Swagger vs. Justin Gabriel
Winner: Jack Swagger
(Where the hell was Jack Swagger? Why is this match in the PPV? This was a squash match because Justin Gabriel is a glorified jobber. I would speak about this match more but I rather not. This match should have been on before the PPV started. )

Divas Champion Title Match: Beth Phoenix vs. Tamina Snuka
Winner: Beth Phoenix
(I loved this match for the most part. I finally got to see something good with womens wrestling. No more hype or playing around. I got to see Beth wrestle someone that is not a model or a wannabe. Tamina got mad props for her work in this match. Her father would be proud because he knows she's a champion. This will do for me as a fan of women's wrestling. However, the main event for the divas title is going to be a triple threat match with Tamina, Beth and Kharma. I hope that's going to be for WM 28.)

Final Thoughts: Why does this PPV exist? This was a speciality match that turned into a PPV. Why is only the WWE and WHC titles are used for this match? Do this for all WWE Titles. I want to see a Divas Elimination Chamber match. I definately want to see a IC and US title match in the elimination chamber. I also would love to see a crazy tag team tile match in the chamber. This was a waste of PPV. When I was a kid, WM would be in late March or early April. There was no filler PPV to get to WM. I know I might sound like I'm bitching but there is some value to the fans to see something if all the wrestlers make it to WM28. This was a waste of PPV. No title changes and no real change of the plans to WrestleMania. I guess now that the PPV is over, we focus on WrestleMania. After that, we go to SummerSlam. So until WWE Raw, speak to you soon.

WWE Smackdown Review 2/17/12

WWE Smackdown Review 2/17/12

Note: Randy Orton is out of the PPV. Why? That's bullshit with how this turned out. Also DB is close to being a full heel. He's almost over to the dark side. Big Show is going to kill him tonight. There is so many issues I will have during this show that I might say something about it. I am tired of seeing Orton getting screwed out of PPVs and matches by injury. So I hope this is going to be a good show regardless of Orton being gone.

Opening Segment: SmackDown opens with Teddy Long and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan backstage. Security is guarding Teddy's office. Long is concerned about Randy Orton's condition and pulls him from the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday.
(I am so pissed with this because I wanted to see Orton in the PPV. I don't care if this is a work or it's real. I want to see Orton. I am so pissed.)

Match#1: Big Show and The Great Khali vs. Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes
Winner: Big Show and Great Khali
(After the match, Show turns on Khali and takes him out. This was a sqaush match. This is better than seeing Crimson and Matt Morgan tag team. I laughed to see Big Show turn on Khali. This was not going to end anyway but ugly. Also, Cody Rhodes needs to do something with that IC title. I am getting tired of seeing the mid card titles not being defended every night or ever PPV.)

Backstage: Mark Henry returns backstage and wants Teddy Long to put him into the Eliminaton Chamber match. Big Show came in and demanded a match against Daniel Bryan for later tonight. Show got pissed, laid out Henry and tore up Teddy's office before leaving. Long put security on notice and told them to take Big Show out of the arena if they see him.
(OMG! Big Show just laid out Henry like a bitch. Big Show just got mad points for popping Henry like that. Also I laughed at the fact that Teddy Long is starting to be a bigger pimp by not letting anyone mess with the Smackdown GM. What's funny is that I marked out when Show popped Henry. I wish I could do a Mike Tyson Punchout Reference because that's how it went down.)

Match#2: Hunico vs. Ted DiBiase
Winner: Hunico with the help of Camacho
(This is a boring match. I am tired of both of them and wish they would move on. I guess when you stuck in mid card hell, you can't pick your feuds. I want more from DiBiase and I want Hunico and Camacho to go away. I hear that they could wrestling in NXT or Superstars.)

Match#3: (Non Title) Epico and Primo vs. The Usos
Winners: The Colons
(This was a good match. Two bad the tag team division in WWE is like watching two snails race. I wish this could change because there are a shit load of young guys that want to be on TV. Tag teams can help them. Also with the extinction of Nexxus and The Corre, there is not a big market in WWE for tag teams. The Usos are good but not good for me. The Colon remind me of Carlito. So this was not a match I wanted to watch but I only wanted to see Rosa Mendes shake her little ass.)

Match#4: Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Winner: DB by DQ
(Sheamus went crazy on Bryan. Bryan spit in Sheamus' face which caused him to go crazy. Sheamus pushed the referee which caused the DQ. This was total bullshit by DB. I will give him credit that he's becoming a DB. Also, Sheamus is starting to be a beast to me. I am also marking out for Sheamus but it is only because I want him to win a title this year. )

Backstage: Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett confront Teddy Long and want to know who is replacing Randy Orton at the Elimination Chamber. Teddy announces a battle royal to fill the final spot. He says a Superstar from RAW or SmackDown can compete.
(This would a good idea if this was Raw but this is Smackdown. This is like most of the guys in mid card hell trying to get a better position in mid card hell. I hope this is not a clusterfuck.)

Match#5: Jinder Mahal vs. Ezekiel Jackson
Winner: Jinder Mahal
(This match was slow and dull to me. Both these men are stuck in mid card hell. Jinder needs a new gimmick. Big Zeke needs to get something going so he could be a threat to the US or IC titles. This was a waste of time because realistically Big Zeke can beat Jinder.)

Backstage: Long was on the phone backstage and John Laurinaitis walked up. He said Teddy needed someone with charisma in the battle royale and entered David Otunga. Teddy wished him luck.
(Why? Why God Why?  This would have been better if they did not show up but whatever.)

Match#6:Tamina and Alicia Fox beat Natalya and Beth Phoenix.
Winners: Tamina and Alicia Fox
(The referee gets distracted by Natalya's farting. Oh boy, so her farts are so strong that she can kill refs now? Damn, that's not only a bad gimmick but this is a shitty one. Bad pun, sorry. Also we got Alicia Fox needs to go back to school to be trained to wrestle. I am not a fan of the killer Fox. Tamina is getting better and Beth is a true womens wrestler. I can't wait to see Tamina and Beth soon. As for Nattie, she's done.)

Main Event: Wild Card Smackdown Battle Royal for the 6th spot in the Elimination Chamber
Winner: Santino Marella
(Do you believe in miracles? This is the biggest clusterfuck of 2012! This is not good for the PPV. Words cannot describe the shit I wished could have happened in this match. Disgust is not something I say often but I was disgusted with this outcome. I know I like Santino but holy fucking christ, this could have been done different. Drew McIntyre could have been better. Shit, I could have jumped through the TV and won this shit. Sorry but I am upset but laughing because Santino is out in like three seconds.)

Final Thoughts: Before the end of this show, I was going to be happy with Smackdown. That was until I saw Santino win the main event. I think I was so wrong with hoping Smackdown was going to be better than Impact. Both had shitty endings. I guess since Smackdown is higher on my list than Impact, I will hope for the best in the coming weeks. Smackdown is going to shock everyone if it is booked right. Orton needs to be in the main event or something. DB is a huge DB. I really think all the Smackdown people needs to stay off Raw. Or at least limit the people. Also, when will I see womens title on Raw. My rants are valid but no one seems to hear me right now, but soon you will.

TNA Impact Review 2/16/12

TNA Impact 2/16/12

Note: This is the Impact after Against All Odds PPV. So many things happened during the PPV but no questions were answered. We still have Roode as Champ. Sting messed up. Jeff Hardy was a dumb target. Other things happened but this should answer them and move them on to the next PPV. So this is going to be an interesting Impact. Here we go.....

Opening Segment: World Champion Bobby Roode opens the show and has Christy Hemme re-introduce himself. Roode brags about Against All Odds until Sting comes out. Sting announces Roode vs. Jeff Hardy with the title on the line tonight. It will be No Time Limit and No DQ.
(So people wasted their money on the PPV to see this match again. WTF! I know they don't expect people to waste the money to see this match again on cable TV. I kinda feel like shit for sitting through this PPV just to see this match on TV.)

Match#1: TNA Championship Match - Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy
Winner: Bobby Roode
(I hear they had to retape this match because they did not like the way it ended the first time. Why? Also why is Angle in this storyline? What is going on with TNA? This is a recipe for a huge clusterfuck.)

Match#2: Zema Ion and Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley and Shannon Moore
Winners: Zema and Aries
(I love X Division matches. So much actions but could be better. I know for a fact this match could have been better. Seeing Alex Shelley and Shannon Moore makes me remember those cruiserweight matches in WWE. Also the new kids are getting better with time. )

Match#3: #1 Contender for the TNA Championship - James Storm vs. Bully Ray
Winner: James Storm
(Ray attacked Storm after the match until New York Giant Brandon Jacobs got in Ray's face. Ray spat beer on him. Jacobs shoved Ray to the mat and agents had to come out and separate them. So why is a football star getting involved here? The man just helped his team to get a super bowl ring. Now he's messing with TNA wrestlers. Also why is Bully Ray considered to be a #1 contender? James Storm is a definate contender but not Bully Ray. I am not tired of seeing Storm and Roode but I hope they can get more people in the title hunt.)

Match#4: 10 Knockout Over The Top Battle Royal
Winner: Madison Rayne
(I hate Madison Rayne. I don't like TNA Gail Kim. This was a female clusterfuck. This was kind of boring to me.)

Final Thoughts: Most of this Impact was repetition in action. I might have left out some things but only because I got so bored that I went to do something else. So if I did forget anything, let me know. Also I am trying to be a fan of TNA but it is hard to be a fan when you see the same shit every week. So if Russo is gone, then why are we getting the same shit just different Thursday nights? I hope Smackdown is better and I hope next week, I will see something change in this. Why does NXT look good to me now?

WWE Raw Review 2/13/12

WWE Raw 2/13/12

Note: This should be a good Raw tonight. The Elimination Chamber PPV is coming up and the hype is gearing up. I hope this is a great show even though this is the week for the Dog Show on USA. I just saw that the Dog Show is on MSNBC so we can watch Raw. Also there are so much going on to get to WM28 and beyond. So this better get my attention as a fan. So here goes Raw!

Opening Segment: They start with a video package of Kane/Cena/Eve/Ryder. Kane is afraid of Kane. So now, Kane is on the Tron saying that he will embrace the hate. He will make Cena embrace the hate and that someone will be in an ambulance. We find out that Johnny Ace is back on Raw. Also that Shawn Michaels is on Raw tonight. Jerry Lawler is in the ring for a debate with the guys in the Elimination Chamber match (CM Punk, Y2J, Kofi, The Miz, R-Truth, Ziggler). So Johnny Ace and his boyfriend Otunga comes out to interrupt Punk. Punk promises no violence. Then he makes fun of Johnny Ace getting his job back on Raw. Dolph is next but Vicki talks first. The crowd is loud so you barely can't hear him. R-Truth says he would trade Vicki and Dolph for a box of spiders and Hornswoggle. The Miz is next and he takes pot shots at the others. Kofi steps up and he comes hard like a G. Jericho is last and he does what he do best.....outshine the others in the ring. Jericho calls out Punk. Punk reminds Jericho was on Dancing With The Stars. Kofi kicks Jericho. The End!
(What the fuck? Is WWE trying to be political? Anyways, R-Truth is the funniest man in WWE aside from Santino. CM Punk is still the man. Kofi just stepped up into main event status with him stepping up to all the guys. The Miz is on his way to mid card hell and Dolph and Vicki is right behind him. this was a good way to start Raw. R-Truth as a heel or a face is still funny as fuck.)

Match#1: Kofi Kingston vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Jericho
(This was a good match. Lots of aerial moves and both finishers were hit by both. This made me want to see more high flyers and lucha libre but I forget that this is WWE not TNA. So this was a good opening match for both men. Even though Jericho is a main eventer not in mid card hell, and Kofi is going to get out of mid card hell in this match. This was good. Not great but good.)

We see HBK and Triple H backstage. They hug and talk.
(This is good to see. I will comment on this when we hear from HBK. He's not fishing with Cole.)

We see Cena talking to Ryder. He's there to see Eve. Cena will get Eve while he stays put. Cena also says that Kane is on the
loose and that he will hurt Ryder to get to Cena.
(So Cena is officially a broski to Ryder? WTF Bro! Also why is Ryder still rocking the braces like he's hurt. We know he's
not hurt. Are you serious, bro? So we got Cena running to get Eve and Ryder helpless and Kane will come to get him? That's
some dumbass shit. Oh well he's a gonner! )

Johnny Ace and David Otunga are talking. Otunga convinces Johnny Ace to do something to be GM for both shows.
(These two men make me sick. I think they need to get a room for all the ass kissing. He's acting like a dumbass and both need to be bitched slapped.)

I AM GETTING TIRED OF THE WWE DYK BULLSHIT! I WILL START YELLING WHEN THAT SHIT COMES UP! GRR......FUCK!

Match#2: Big Show vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Big Show by DQ
(DB comes out to see the match between Orton and Big Show. DB gets into the ring and ends the match before Orton could pin Big Show. I am so pissed. I want to see this match but it was ruined by DB. So I am going to end up seeing this settled at the PPV. Damn DB for being a DB!)

HBK comes out to the crowd. He dances for the crowd. He's back! The HBK chants are loud on TV. He's back for the WM season. He talks about Triple H and Taker. He was shocked that Triple H did not accept the match. He call for Triple H to come down. Triple H comes down with the crowd cheering him. HBK wants Triple H to say he will accept Taker's challenge. Triple H repeats what he said last week. Triple H doesn't want to end Taker's career. HBK basically calls Triple H a sellout because he married Steph and is Vince's son in law. HBK calls Triple H is a coward. Triple H walks away but he comes back to yell at HBK. Some insults are said between them. HBK leave Triple H in the ring. Triple H looks at HBK leaving. Taker's gong hits. We see Taker on the Tron looking at video of the events of last year and this year. Taker says again that it is not over. He wants to be immortal.
(Triple H said something that was so true. Taker, HBK and Triple H are the last of the attitude era. That once Taker retires the era is over. That's so true because Taker is like Hogan of WWE. He will be immortalized by his win streak. So I know there will be one more match. I hope it is good. I want to see Taker go out and go home. Then next year, we get a Mark Calloway HOF ceremony. We will see.  )

Match#3: Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth
Winner: R-Truth
(Ziggler is a pussy. He was showing off and the Truth was set free. This would have been a great match but thank god R-Truth
made it short and sweet. This was an ok match. Ziggler was showing off, Vicki was loud as fuck but R-Truth was on his game. Thank god for Little Jimmy and R-Truth.)

Santino comes in to see Ryder. Ryder asks Santino for love advice. He gives Ryder some garlic for his breathe.
(This is classic Santino. Full of comedy and full of idiotic humor.)

Match#4: Brie Bella vs. Tamina
Winner: Tamina
(Beth Phoenix is at ringside for Tamina vs. Brie Bella. Basically Beth thinks Tamina is not competition to her Divas Title. Another stare down with Beth and Tamina.  I want to see this match. I want to see the Divas title actually used and challenged. Unlike TNA Knockouts, these two Divas can wrestle and can make fans want to see them go at it. It's time for WWE to use the women as wrestlers or as eye candy. Beth needs competition. If not Tamina then it should be Kharma. Since Nattie is stuck with a bad gimmick, someone else is due.)

So they waste time on Raw with The Rock promoting his movie and WM28. After this we will hear from Cena and see more time wasted hyping the hell out of this match. John Cena was suppose to do an interview. He's distracted by Eve screaming and Kane locking her in an ambulance. Kane drives off without Eve. Eve kisses Cena. Ryder sees the kiss.
(Soap Opera drama is in the air with WWE. Will Eve go to Cena? Will Ryder hate Cena? Will Kane try to take Eve again? These question and so many more will be answered in the next episode of WWE of our lives. Are you serious bro? WTF! Actually Eve can kiss but Cena look like he was not expecting it. I wish I could have been Cena to get that kiss. Sorry, got distracted by Eve.)

Eve and Ryder are talking backstage. Eve explains that she was caught in the moment. She kissed Cena. She wants him as a friend. Eve dumps Ryder.
(Poor Zack Ryder! He got dumped by Eve. Even though they were not together. Is this part of Kane's plan? Is Kane doing soap opera storylines now? So what is going on with this and how does Cena plan on facing the Rock?)

Match#5: The Miz vs. CM Punk (Non-Title)
Winner: CM Punk via Anaconda Vice
(CM Punk is the best of WWE Raw. The Miz is ok but he's going back to mid card hell. This was a good match. I love the action but know that the PPV will see some crazy bumps and other cool shit. So we know that Punk is not going to come out champ but he will come out a legend. We will see.)

Main Event: John Cena comes out to apologize to Zack Ryder about the kiss that happened with Eve. Cena figures out the diabolical plan of Kane. He said he will have no choice but to embrace the hate. Cena starts preaching that he will rise above the hate. He tells Kane and everyone he's not a punk. Cena says he will adpated and overcome the hate. Zack Ryder comes out to talk to Cena. Cena apologizes but Zack slaps him. Cena almost hits Ryder but doesn't. Kane is on the Tron. Kane says that Cena embraced the hate. He will beat him this sunday at the PPV. Kane pushes Ryder off the ramp. Cena and Eve with others comes to see if Zack is ok. The show ends with Ryder being taken out in a stretcher.
(Most of this segment was focused on Zack being pissed and upset. I will give props to Zack because he did a better job than Cena and Eve. He not only had to take a bump but also act hurt. Cena is about to be over and done with. Kane is about to go out on top. Even Zack is about to get a bump out of mid card hell. The ending was shocking but getting old. Zack is going to get killed doing these bumps. Well that's the end of the show.)

Final Thoughts: Well Raw was full of ups and downs. We saw some good matches but the soap opera drama with Cena/Kane/Eve/Ryder is going to clog up the show. We saw all the guys in the PPV in matches that could have been better but we get shortened matches. We also did see one diva match. We need more diva matches. We also did not see much of anyone outside of people in the PPV. So I am going to bed with the though that Ryder is damn near going to be crippled from all these bumps. So see you all for Impact.......

TNA Against All Odds PPV 2/12/12

TNA Against All Odds PPV 2/12/12

Note: This is my second TNA PPV of 2012. This PPV is riddled with drama. No more Vince Russo! We have new management for TNA. So we will have some fun watching this and hoping for the best. I am excited because this should be a good PPV. I am excited for the tag team title match. I am also excited for the some of the other matches. At least no divas will be farting. And there will not be so much clusterfuckery.

Match#1: Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorenson
Winner: Zema Ion is the #1 Contender to TNA X Division Title
(There was so much moving around that I damn near missed the match. Jesse damn near killed himself. I know he's ok but people will be talking about this match for the bump he had. This was a good opening match.)

Match#2: Robbie E vs. Shannon Moore (TNA TV Title Match)
Winner: Robbie E.
(Why is this title still exist? I though this title was called something else. Shannon Moore is better in TNA than he was in WWE. I really don't like Robbie E. I like Jersey Shore but not a fan of this TNA made character.)

Match#3: Tara vs. Gail Kim (TNA Knockouts Title Match)
Winner: Gail Kim
(As a man, I love this match. Not because of the chick on chick action but because these women can fight. Another wasted opportunity for WWE and their weak ass divas division. I would love to see them do this again.)

Match#4: Samoa Joe and Magnus vs Crimson and Matt Morgan (Tag Team Title Match)
Winners: Samoa Joe and Magnus (New Champs!)
(Thank you god! Ding fucking dong, the giants are dead. Long live Joe and Magnus. I hope these men can hold the tag titles. I also hope Crimson and Matt Morgan will break up and I can watch Impact without issues.)

Match#5: Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries (X Division Title Match)
Winner: Austin Aries
(I will give props to Aries because he can work a match. I also will give props to my 313 brotha Shelley. This is another match that I would love to see again. Too bad this would be a watered down version of it.)

Match#6: AJ Styles vs. Kaz
Winner: Kaz
(What the fuck is going on with these guys? I am still confused. Is Chris Daniels mind fucking Kaz? This is some soap opera drama. I hope this will be explained on Impact. )

Match#7: Gunner vs. Garrett Bischoff
Winner: Gunner
(This was so boring and full of shit. So Gunnner is stuck wrestling Eric Bischoff's kid? Why? Gunner needs to be wrestling Robbie E. or something more productive. I like Hogan and Bischoff but damn, go away. Please go away!)

Main Event: Jeff Hardy vs. Robert Roode Vs. James Storm vs. Bully Ray (TNA Heavyweight Title)
Winner: Robert Roode
(I think lately the word clusterfuck is going to be played out but this is the right word for this match. So much action in and out the ring. Also I missed Hardy. So I guess Roode will be champ for a while longer. Well someone is due for a title shot soon. Please make this feud go at least for a few more weeks.)

Final Thoughts: Even with the issues with Russo, I think this was a good PPV. I also think that I might like TNA after this PPV. Too bad though that Impact is going to be in India for a while. That means the show will be different than the PPV. So I hope it is consistent. If not, then I am back to shitty TNA and having to drink on Thursday nights.

WWE Smackdown Review 2/10/12

WWE Smackdown Review 2/10/12

Note: This should be an interesting WWE Smackdown. Unlike the reviews of TNA Impact over the last two weeks, WWE Smackdown might be a great thing to make me forget TNA for one night. Most of Smackdown is going to be good on paper but hope that it will be great to watch. The main event is going to be interesting. I also think the other matches could be appealing to watch. So here goes WWE Smackdown......

Opening Segment: SmackDown opens up with a segment between Sheamus and Wade Barrett. They are interrupted by Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Big Show also came out and it ended up with Sheamus and Show clearing the ring. Barrett and Rhodes vs. Show and Sheamus is made for later.
(This was a great way to open WWE Smackdown. I would love to see Sheamus vs. Big Show because that could steal the show if it happens on PPV. Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes got alot to go to become main event players in WWE. I would love to see anything good on Smackdown that is not lame or repetitve.)

Match#1: The Great Khali vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: Khali with a chokeslam
(This was a squash match. This basically was a warm up match for Khali. Nothing to say here.)

Backstage segment with Teddy Long and Daniel Bryan.
(This segment was stupid to me. I would have knocked out DB for interrupting me and Aksana. You would have seen my version of WMD. By the way, Aksana is sexy as hell but she can't wrestle. She reminds me of Alicia Fox. Nice to see flop on the mat but scary to watch wrestle.)

Match#2: Beth Phoenix vs. Alicia Fox
Winner: Beth with a glam slam
(Speak of Alicia Fox, seeing her put in her place put a smile on my face. By the way, WTF is Alicia Fox doing wearing fox fur? Tamina is also starting to grow on me but I want to see Kharma. That would be a great way to fix the Divas Title picture. A four way for the title: Tamina, Beth, Natalya and Kharma.)

I said I am getting sick of these bullshit crap about DYK and what the WWE does better than other sports. I don't care if Cenation has more followers than NFL and other sports. I don't care because I am not going to waste my time on twitter talking to wrestlers because everyone knows they don't talk back.

WTF! They filled time on WWE Smackdown hyping the match between The Rock and John Cena. They are showing the Rock's history. Really? WTF!

Backstage with Tyson Kidd and Natalya. He farts and Hornswoggle comes walking in, thinking it was Natalya that farted.
(WTF! Now this farting gag is getting on my fucking nerves. So now Tyson is farting! The funny thing was Hornswoggle passing the fuck out after taking a whiff. I still think Natalya is getting fucked over and stuck in mid card hell.)

Match#4: Big Show and Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett
Winner: Big Show and Sheamus
(This match was a great match to see. I like the ending. This is only a small taste of what is going to happen during the PPV. Sheamus could have some competition before WM28. I am a mark for Big show but beginning to be a mark for Sheamus as well.)

Michael Cole interviews AJ Lee about her injury from Big Show but is interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan.

Bryan tries to get her to leave with him. Teddy Long interrupts and threatens to strip him of the belt.
(This was pointless until Teddy Long became the new pimp of WWE Smackdown. He is basically making DB his bitch by telling him if you leave then you will not be champion anymore.)

Match#5: Ted Dibiase vs.Hunico
Winner: DiBiase
(This is another example of mid card hell in play. I don't care about Hunico, the other Mexican, or DiBiase. Sorry but this match was wasted on me for so many reasons.)

Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton
Winner: DB by DQ
(This was a great match with a shitty ending. I am going on a limb here but DB is going beyond being a DB. Also since when a DQ can be caused by someone being put back in the ring. Smackdown is known for fucked up endings but dumb ass rules. Randy Orton should have run rough shot to tear both Big Show and DB a new one. Randy will be back in the title hunt after WM28. As for Big Show, maybe he does need to retire with Taker. )

Final Thoughts: I used clusterfuckery in my TNA reviews because of the taping. Clusterfuckery can be used in WWE Smackdown. I like Smackdown but it is hard to swallow some of the shit that I have seen. We got people farting on camera. We got DB acting like a mega DB. AJ is cute but she's kinda dim as hell. We got Rhodes walking around with a title that needs to be sees. Where the fuck is Swagger and the US Title? They actually wasted time to promote The Rock vs Cena to fill a gap. Put a match on. Last week on Smackdown, they took a match off because it was going to long. Why? Also, why is Beth on Smackdown? Did she piss someone off to be put in mid card hell? Teddy Long has been the longest running character on Smackdown. He's starting to gain my respect for being a player and not the HNIC of Smackdown. I know that's a bad joke but it is true. Wade Barrett needs to be put back in the title hunt because his title push is coming. So with all that said, there is huge room for improvement. I am off until next week. I hope Raw gets its shit together.

TNA Review for 2/2/12 and 2/9/12

Note: Please note that I did forget to post the TNA Impact Review for 2/2/12 so I am going to blog about both shows that were taped in London, England. I really think I need to watch them again because there were some matches and stuff I missed but I will write about what I saw. With that in mind, let's review the last two weeks of TNA Impact.

The following is a mash up of the last two weeks of TNA Impact in England. I was going to do this separately but due to the confusion I had with following the last two weeks plus the reports online, I decided to merge the blogs and give my blunt comments or commentary on the matches. I will not focus on the backstage mess because unlike WWE, TNA's backstage stuff is scary to follow and look like they are spying on people. So here's Impact from England....

We start the trip on February 2nd:

Opening Segment: Robert Roode kicks off saying that Jeff Hardy will not be seen again after last week. James Storm and Sting

comes out and announces Robert Roode vs. Bully Ray vs. James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy at Against All Odds next month. Also for

tonight, Storm will face both Roode and Bully Ray in singles matches tonight.
(I was laughing with the crowd because they were pissing Bully Ray off by calling for Devon and get the tables. Also, getting sick of Sting doing his joker stick without the makeup. Also tired of Roode's generation stuff. I guess this opening was ok but just tired of the same stick. See, TNA already upsetting me.)

Samoa Joe and Magnus vs. Matt Morgan and Crimson in a Buckingham Brawl
Winners: Joe and Magnus
(This was a good match. I really want to see Magnus and Joe win the tag titles so Crimson and Morgan can break up. Those guys are boring and very dull to watch. I guess I am a mark for Samoa Joe because he's being wasted in TNA. What's funny is that TNA does not have a mid card hell because unless you don't hold a belt, you are nothing.)

Austin Aries vs. Mark Haskins
Winner: Austin Aries
(This was a boring match because I hate Aries. He is not cool and he's boring. I felt sorry for the local talent because he was a jobber. OMG a jobber! Cool.)

Robert Roode vs.James Storm
Winner: Bobby Roode
(See this match before and will have to see this match again over and over again.)

(Non-title) Tara vs. Gail Kim.
Winner: Tara
(This was a good match. Too bad WWE can't do a good womens wrestling match unless the girl looks like a model. I am starting to like Tara and even Gail Kim. WWE can't keep a real woman if their lives depend on it.)

James Storm vs. Bully Ray
Winner: James Storm
(Bully Ray is a joke. I cannot believe he's a singles wrestler. James Storm is growing on me. I am not into the redneck character but love the country bad ass character. Storm basically carried Bully Ray in my opinion.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's TNA Impact Results from England Part Two........

February 9th:

Bully Ray hits the ring and calls out Robert Roode. Bully and Roode argue about having each others backs. Sting hits the ring with his cricket bat and announces himself to be the special guest enforcer for the PPV match! Sting also reveals a main event tag match: Bully and Roode vs. James Storm and Sting! Then we see a video footage of Kaz, AJ and Chris Daniels.
(So Sting is carrying a cricket bat? Why? Is Sting legacy going to be carring a bat and trying to be the bad ass. The insane icon.....he's not an icon to me. I guess I am still bitter that Sting could have been in WWE but pussied out. As for this situation, someone explain to me why Hardy was not on this trip? Court? Probation? One more issue, Bully Ray is a main eventer? Why?)

Christopher Daniels w/Kaz vs. AJ Styles
Winner: Christopher Daniels via Brass Knuckles
(This was a funny match because Kaz was confused to who to help. Also why is CD using brass knuckles? Poor AJ Styles, he's stuck carrying this storyline because he is honestly confused and don't know what's going on. I know how he feels because I am just as confused.)

Samoa Joe and Magnus cut a promo about how they will win the Tag Team Championship at Against All Odds. Crimson and Matt Morgan hit the ring and give them a quick beat down. Joe and Magnus manage to escape without too much damage.
(I cannot wait for Joe and Magnus to win the belts. I cannot wait for Joe and Magnus to win the belts. I cannot wait for Joe and Magnus to win the belts. I cannot wait for Joe and Magnus to win the belts. I repeat this because I want it to happened.)

Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries vs. Doug Williams
Winner: Alex Shelly
(This was a good match. Doug Williams was the odd man out. There was action in and out the ring. I was marking out for Shelley because he's repping the 313 (Detroit). He's going to get that X Division Title soon.)

Velvet Sky vs. Mickie James
Winner: Velvet Sky
(This was another good match for women's wrestling. I might not like Velvet Sky like I hate Angelina Love but at least she can wrestle. I think Angelina Love would make a great WWE Diva and Champ. Mickie James is a goddess in the ring. I hate her gimmick but I love her as a wrestler.)

Main Event: Sting and James Storm vs. Robert Roode and Bully Ray
Winners: Sting and James Storm
(Any team with Sting in it will win 90% of the time. This was an okay match. It would have been better if there was more action or if Hardy was there. I guess I will have to settle for this mess. It was okay.)

Final Thoughts: Jesus, doing these reviews for TNA is like being the chicken in robot chicken. I feel like I saw some good things in the last two weeks but God I also some snippets of clusterfuckery. I did not care for Garrett Bischoff being trained by Hogan. Why is he back on camera? Why is Bischoff's kid trying to wrestle? Also why did Tara and Gail Kim fight outside London? I bet the Brits were like WTF! I am learning that TNA is hard to watch even if you know what's going to happen. I stop drinking during TNA because I was getting smashed by 10pm. Also, you have to either be a real fan of TNA to watch this. I am not a true fan but trying to be. I feel like if I continue doing this, I need to find something to keep my attention during watching.

WWE Raw Review 2/6/12

WWE Raw Review 2/6/12

Note: This should be an interesting Raw show. Did Johnny Ace get fired? Will Triple H face Taker one more time? Is Punk going to face Jericho at WM28? Will Kharma finally take out Beth Phoenix? There are more questions than answers for this episode of Raw. I just hope for the most part that some issues will be hashed out before the Elimination Chamber PPV. I also hope this WM is going to be memorable because so far, I can't remember the main event.

Opening Segment of Raw: Matches for tonight. Big Show versus Daniel Bryan. Six pack challege with all the Raw Elimination Chamber for the right to be the last man in the match. Triple H comes out to begin Raw. He was going to fire Johnny Ace. He's been future endeavored. He basically disses Johnny Ace. Johnny Ace might keep his job as Raw GM. He then talks about Taker not being seen since last year's WM. Taker wants to have a rematch from last year. Triple H basically copping out to Taker's challenge. They show a Taker best of video package. Then show what happened last year at WM. Triple H says no to Taker's challenge. The lights go out and here comes the dead man. He's on the Tron. Taker offers the challenge again on the Tron and says this is not over.
(Well as a true wrestling fan, I know there will be one more match. This will be an epic conclusion to either Triple H's or Taker's career. This will be more popular than Cena vs. Rock because there is more history to it. Taker will go 20-0 but this I hope is Taker's retirement match. Just like Ric Flair and HBK, this is one for the ages. I will be glad to see this WM.)

I hate the dumb ass didn't you know in between segments. Everyone knows this shit is padded and I don't care if it is true. I don't care about ratings. I don't care if WWE beat NCAA, NFL or NBA. The truth is that I want to see wrestling not bullshit. Sorry but had to say this.

Match#1: Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show (Non Title Match)
Winner: Big Show by Count Out
(So not only does DB is an ass but he brings out AJ for the match. WTF DB! So I guess Big Show almost hit AJ again. DB is slowly becoming a heel. This is good because he needs to be a heel. Even while giving his after match comments sounds like a heel. Poor Big show! He has to deal with this ass.)

Only 55 Days until Wrestlmania 28 from Miami Fl.

I have decided to ignore the crap with John Cena and NASCAR. I only do this because there is nothing important that stems from this. Also I will not help promote NASCAR or where in the fuck John Cena will be making appearances. Sorry but getting antsy for some more wrestling not talking.

In Ring: David Otunga is out in the ring and basically kisses Johnny Ace's ass. He wants Johnny Ace to be rehired back on to

Raw. Triple H orders David Otunga in a match. His opponent is Sheamus.
(Thank god for Triple H and thank god David Otunga is not speaking. This is not going to be a good match but this will shut up Otunga.)

Match#2: David Otunga vs. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus via Brogue Kick
(Sheamus needs warm up matches before Elimination Chamber and also Wrestlemania. So I want to see Sheamus kick ass all the way to WM28. Shemus is growning on me because he was looking to be an ass to me at first. He needs to tan. He's a scary ginger.)

In Ring: Chris Jericho comes out to talk about his actions. He basically says that each of his opponents of the Elimination

Chamber stole something from him. CM Punk comes down to confront Y2J. He does not say anything and holds the title up for the crowd. He turns his back waiting for Jericho to attack him but he doesn't. CM Punk leaves.
(This was a great segment because I do think all the other wrestlers use parts of what Jericho is as a competitor. CM Punk not only complements Jericho as a wrestler but also with the mic as well.)

Match#3:The Great Khali & Randy Orton vs. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes & Wade Barrett
Winner: The Great Khali & Randy Orton
(This was a odd match. So Khali is a face? Really? I can believe Rhodes and Barrett could be a good tag team. However, Khali is kinda the odd man out of this match. WTF! So I have to see Khali be a face until after EC PPV or even WM28? This is as bad as watching Brodus Clay act like an ass.)

So I guess next is a divas match? Thank God because this show so far has been going up and down all night. It will be nice to see something great for the divas. I hope because the divas are put to the side like the tag team title.

Match#4: Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox and Tamina vs. Beth Phoenix, Natalya and The Bella Twins
Winner: Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox and Tamina
(So Alicia Fox is still wrestling? She's more dangerous as a wrestler than she is speaking. I kinda feel sorry for Beth Phoenix, Tamina and Natalya because these women can wrestle but have to make women like Alicia Fox, the Bellas and Kelly Kelly look good.)

Backstage: Triple H is on the phone. Then John Laurinaitis comes in to announced John Cena vs. Kane in an Ambulance Match at WWE Elimination Chamber. He also announced that Shawn Michaels will be on Raw SuperShow next week. He does this while begging for his job(s) back.
(So HBK will stop hunting and fishing to come on Raw. Maybe he will convince Triple H to face Taker. Also why is John Cena facing Kane again. I wished Kane would find someone else to face for the EC PPV. This match is not going to be a good one but then again, I know Cena is not going to lose because he will be facing The Rock. As for HBK, I hope he is special ref for Taker/Triple H at WM28. I smell screwjob ending.)

Main Event: Six Pack Challenge: Chris Jericho, WWE Champion CM Punk, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Miz & Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Y2J
(This match to me was a big clusterfuck. A good clusterfuck but still a clusterfuck. There was so much action that I barely could keep up. I was trying not to fall asleep or get up. I like a main event that is clustered like that. I also like that these matches can keep people watching at the end.)

I wish the show ended after this match but no....this is the official ending of Raw for this week: So Eve is backstage getting ready to leave the arena but she's confronted by Kane. Kane says that John Cena is close to embracing the hate and that he's scared of himself.
(My point earlier is that Kane and Cena will face each other until WM28. So why is that? Also with Ryder off TV, why is Eve being a part of this clusterfuck of a storyline? I mean she was in a match that did not end in like three seconds. Poor Eve

is stuck in this shit because she wanted to be in the spotlight. Sorry Eve, you are in a crappy storyline with Kane.)

Final Thoughts: There is so much shit that happened in this episode of Raw that I am so fucking confused. I mean we know Triple H and Taker will happened at WM28. We know that HBK will be in the match or at WM28. We also know that CM Punk will face Y2J either at WM28 or later. We also know why Y2J has been a dick. It's because he feels like the other guys rip off his gimmick. Johnny Ace is not going anywhere. Also I am tired of Kane/Cena/Ryder/Eve. I hope next week is better because this was not a good episode as a whole. Until next week, let's pray that Smackdown is better or I might have to start watching Superstars or even NXT.

WWE Smackdown Review 2/3/12

WWE Smackdown Review 2/3/12

(Note: This should be an interesting show because of many reasons. On Raw, they annouced the Raw Elimination Chamber participants and they will have a good match. So I hope SD Elimination Chamber match and participants should be just as great as Raw's match. Also this is the first SD after the Royal Rumble, so they are on the road to WM28.)

Opening Segment: Theodore Long begins the show by announcing the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The participants are Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and Big Show. Mark Henry came out and isn't happy about getting his shot in the Chamber and wants his World Title shot tonight. Theodore Long removes Henry from the Chamber match and ends up suspending him indefinitely. Then Henry gets pissed off but Sheamus lays him out with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus says he's not sure which title he will go for at WrestleMania 28 and is interrupted by Cody Rhodes.
(Everyone knows that Mark Henry has been wrestling hurt. So this was expected to give him some rest and also some more heat to be in the WHC hunt either before or after WM28. I find it funny that Sheamus came out to be an enforcer. Seeing Shemus come out to kick Henry was both funny and sad. My next question is that why did they make a match with Sheamus and Cody Rhodes.)

Match#1: Sheamus vs IC Champ Cody Rhodes
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a good match but what's funny is that Sheamus had to use a backup finisher. What was also funny is that this match started the whole theme for tonight's show: Outside Wrestling...)

Match#2: Hunico vs. Justin Gabriel
Winner: No One
(Cody Rhodes jumps Gabriel on his way to the ring. Camacho and Hunico join in on the beatdown until The Great Khali makes the save. This match had my vote for What The Fuck moment of tonight. Why did Khali come to save Gabriel? Why did Khali point at Rhodes? Why is Hunico still wrestling in the WWE? I wish I could have changed channels at this match.)

Backstage: Drew McIntyre begging Teddy Long to keep him on SmackDown. Santino Marella comes in and has a new tag team partner Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Their name is "Santinooooooo."
(Poor Drew, he's wallowing in mid card hell. Here's another What The Fuck moment of tonight. Why is Santino trying out partners for? Why is Duggan still wrestling? How does Theodore Long keep a straight face with Santino's skits? What is Aksana's purpose with Long?)

Match#3: Primo and Epico vs. Santino Marella and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a non-title match
Winners: The Colons with an assist to Rosa Mendes
(This was a filler match. I did not get any entertainment value from this match. Sad to say that Rosa Mendes was the only thing good about this match. I love eye candy! Dayum!)

In The Ring Interview: Michael Cole interviews Daniel Bryan. He came to the ring to cut a heel promo about being a role model and a vegan. Big Show comes out and says he just got finished eating a steak. They talk and Show chokeslams him. Show tried to continue the assault but AJ Lee came out and stopped him.
(DB is moving towards the darkside. He should be called Darth Douche. This is why I think winning a title is like Lord of the Rings. The title changes people most of the time. I like the line Big Show said about eating a steak. DB is going to be a good heel once he fully converts to it.)

Backstage: Beth Phoenix and Natalya are getting ready for their match. Farting ensues. Santino walks into it.
(I did not want to speak of this but this is the third WTF moment of tonight. This was last week skit with Theodore Long, Aksana, and Santino. I laughed at this skit but this did come out of nowhere. What's funnier is that this is only when Natalya is around. She needs to change her diet.)

Match#4: Beth Phoenix and Natalya vs.Aksana and Tamina
Winners: Beth Phoenix and Natalya in like a minute and a half.
(This match was quick for a women's match. What I noticed is that Beth kinda changed the match after she was tagged in. Why can't I see a good women's match like with Natalya and Tamina? What's funny is that Tamina came in only after Natayla tried to put Aksana in the sharpshooter. Tamina delivers another superfly splash on Natayla. )

Ringside: Michael Cole announces that The Great Khali is Mark Henry's replacement in the Elimination Chamber.
(Why? Just Why?)

Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
Winner: RKO with two brutal RKOs
(They wrestled in and outside. They brought a table and chairs but no ladders into play. Orton won with two brutal RKOs with one on a chair. This was a quality match. The riviary is going to continue well into WM28. This was a good match.)

The end was good and the beginning was good. The middle sucked. I guess I expect more from SD but I should be happy with what I get. Unlike Raw, SD is getting a good PPV match but why Khali? Also, if DB is going to be a heel then wouldn't you use someone like Sheamus or Orton to counter him? Nothing against Big Show but his time is running out. Same goes with Henry. So I hope next week's SD is better because I can't afford to stop watching. What's funny is that as we get closer to WM28, nothing is going to be stale but it will get idiotic.
