WWE Raw Review 1/28/13

Note: This is the show after the PPV. Last night I should have gone HAM after seeing what Vince wanted people to see. Why Vince did you screw us and make us have to see another Rock/Cena match? Why did you fuck over the fans? Well this show is going to either explain why or I might have to give up on WWE. Here's WWE Raw and the Raw Roulette.

Opening Segment: Paul Heyman and CM Punk comes out to show their frustration about last night's PPV. Vince comes out and he wants to talk to Paul Heyman about his actions last night at the PPV.
(CM Punk was pissed. This was good to start the show. I am unhappy to see him without the title. I am going to be happy to see him try to get the title back soon. As for Heyman, he might be fired tonight.)

Match#1: Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro with The Miz as Special Referee
Winner: Randy Orton
(This was a good match even with the gimmick. Other than that, it was to setup the feud with Cesaro and The Miz. Like the feud but we all know that The Miz will be U.S. champ soon.)

Match#2: Bo Dallas vs. Wade Barrett
Winner: Bo Dallas
(This was big. I loved this match. Good way to make a star in the process by making him take on a champ. Love the action and also the way this could be good for the IC title picture.)

Match#3: John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes
Winner: John Cena
(Boring...........)

Cena's Speech After The Match: He challenges The Rock. The Shield takes him out and also takes out Ryback and Sheamus.
(This was better than the boring Cena match. The Shield came out and laid waste to all the face. We all know that the Shield is getting better as the new heel faction.)

Match#4: Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show - Body Slam Challenge
Winner: No Contest
(This was not boring because Big Show made this a tense moment. We saw him take out ADR and RR in one shot. He was a beast. It was scary to see him take both men out in less than 10 minutes. This was epic. Thank you Big Show for showing us you are not a fucking joke.)

Match#5: Tamina Snuka vs. Kaitlyn - Lumberjill Match
Winner: No Contest
(This was a total sexfest. We saw the Divas in costume and we saw a huge catfight. There was someone that had a mishap with their outfit. Basically, I saw Kaitlyn. Loved that........)

The Rock's Championship Celebration: The Rock celebrated. CM Punk comes out to challenge The Rock at the next PPV.
(This segment had one point......Punk Ass Bitch! We are no longer in the era of PG but TV 14. Nothing else could be said because we know this is a shield to mask that we will see Cena and Rock go again for Wrestlemania. )

Match#6: Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow - Tables Match
Winner: Sheamus
(Best damn match of the night! No bullshit on this one. This made me so happy to see a Tables match on TV. This was old school and very violent. I know there was no blood but we did see carnage. Sheamus and Sandow were all over the ring and we had tables all over. I was hearing Bodies singing in my head from them throwing each other all over. This was the best thing on TV. Thank you WWE for coming back to TV 14.)

Match#7: Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho - Strange Bedfellows Match
Winner: Team Hell No
(This was a good way to set up the main event. This match was funny because both teams were acting up. The whole match was good to see because it is a sign that we are getting rid of the kid friendly bullshit of the PG era. By the way, Team Hell No is going to break up soon. Damn it........)

Main Event: Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman are in the ring. We see evidence that Paul Heyman is the leader of the Shield. Vince was about to fire him but Brock Lesnar comes out and takes out Vince with an F-5. Show ends.
(Best ending ever. There was nothing wrong with the ending. Thank you Brock for coming back. Thank you Vince for being Vince. Paul Heyman is not going anywhere. So happy to see something good on WWE TV again.)

Matches I Omitted: I did omit the bullshit with Ryback and Prime Time Players because it was stupid and wasted my time. I also omitted Tensai and Brodus Clay in a dance off because it was sad to see Tensai become a jobber in less than five months. I did not mention the karioke segment with Zack Ryder, Great Khali and Hornswoggle because it was garbage.

Final Thoughts: The end of this show makes up for the shitty ending for the Royal Rumble. So we will see Rock/Cena 2. However it is for the title. Which means Cena will be back on top after April. Big Show and ADR is heating up but Ziggler will cash in soon. Also we will see a Y2J/Ziggler match either for the WHC title or the MITB case. Also I cannot wait to see the clusterfuck that will occur for the IC title. Basically, the end helped the show. Thank you Brock and Paul for saving the show. See you all for another taped TNA Impact.

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 PPV - 1/27/13

Note: Tonight's WWE Royal Rumble should either make people happy to be WWE fans or we will see the biggest uproar in the IWC and the WWE universe. This PPV is the setup for Wrestlemania. This PPV is the opening act for things to come. This PPV is a make or break night for everyone. I am hoping for good things or else I will go HAM on the WWE tonight. Here's WWE Royal Rumble........

Pre-Show/Match#1: Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz - WWE U.S. Title Match
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(Ok, well I could use the arguement that this was not the time for Cesaro to lose the title. I could also use the fact that the Miz is not ready to be a mid card title holder. I am going to say that this whole match was bullshit because Cesaro should have dropped the title)

Match#2: Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show - WWE World Heavyweight Title Match
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(This match was basically a no brainer. I say that because this match was destined to end the way it did. Basically, ADR is going to hold on to the title for a while longer. We will see Big Show back in the title hunt this week. Unlike the other title match, this was hyped with little notice and also was basically put in the back burner. So this is not over but then again, this is not beginning either.)

Match#3: Kane and Daniel Bryan (Team Hell No) vs. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes (Team Rhodes Scholars) - WWE Tag Title Match
Winners: Team Hello No
(This would have been a better match if we had a feeling that Hell No was going to win the titles back. This was more so a filler match because of how they were not wrestling like normal. All four men were saving their energy for the battle royal. So basically, this was bullshit and filler. Fuck you WWE for this shit of a match. )

Match#4: WWE Royal Rumble Match - 30 Men To Win A Title Match @ Wrestlemania in NYC/NJ.
Winner: John Cena
Entrants Notes: Chris Jericho returned. Santino Marella returned from injury. Goldust returned. Rey Mysterio is back. Bo Dallas won entry via NXT match at the pre-show. Godfather returned.
(Before I go HAM about Vince's golden boy winning this rigged match, let me go over some good points about this whole event. One more thing before I start: NO Carlito or Shelton Benjamin! WTF!!!!! So that was a letdown. We did see Y2J come back to set Ziggler in his place. We did see a kid from NXT join the main event of a PPV. We also saw some other guys come back. However, that all was fucking pointless because WWE/Vince just gave the fans a huge fuck you. Why? Well after having a bad year so to speak, we will see Cena back in the main event at Wrestlemania. So basically, WWE fucked the fans and also made this fucking match pointless. We got to see lots of action, drama, comedy, and some twists but at the end, we all got fucked by Vince and John Cena. This could have ended different but we as a whole will never get what we want. I will save my HAM comments until the end.)

Main Event: The Rock vs. CM Punk - WWE Title Match
Winner: CM Punk

Match Restart: CM Punk vs. The Rock
Winner: The Rock - New WWE Champ
(If this had ended with CM Punk getting help from the Shield, we would see happier times. Vince almost stripped the title from CM Punk but The Rock wanted the match restarted. Not only that, basically we will get what Vince wanted: Rock/Cena II. The fans did not want to see that match again. So whomever paid to see this shit.......you got fucked. I got fucked seeing this for free. This and the rumble match was bullshit. Vince wanted to see how many people would be pissed to see his dream match. Not only that but we don't want to see this shit for the title, period.)

Final Thoughts: So WWE is back to TV 14. I am happy for that but the kids will be sad to see grown up action. However, they will get to see their champion back in the mix. Cena and Vince fucked all of us over. The Rock winning was not good for business as well. However, it will help his movies during the next few months. I loved that we got to see no Divas title match. The U.S. title match was garbage. The IC champ was in the Rumble match so we got fucked over with that. ADR and the WHC title is going to be safe for Smackdown viewers. Team Hell No's time is running out because we will have to see Kane go for one more run before retiring. So basically, Vince just fucked the fans, the viewers of the PPV, and most of our intelligence. I promised you all that I would go HAM on WWE but so tired from being fucked over and disappointed. Going to bed. See you all for WWE Raw which will continue the disappointment.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/25/13

Note: This is the last show before WWE Royal Rumble. WWE Raw did not help the PPV much. Basically, the whole show did not help people want to rent the PPV. So this should be the show to help. We have been hearing about people from the past coming back to be in the main event of the Royal Rumble. Basically, this show is the sink or swim of people wanting to see this PPV. So I am going to try to watch this show with some form of objectivity. Here's WWE Smackdown.........

Opening Segment: Kane and Daniel Bryan come out and we see footage from their graduation on RAW. Kane talks about their title match at Royal Rumble and they start arguing. Kane promises he will win the Rumble 30-man match and out comes Big Show. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes end up coming out. Sandow proposes they take out Team Hell No. Alberto Del Rio comes out and we have a six-man elimination match for later tonight, thanks to Booker T.
(I am getting sick of these damn tag team matches on Smackdown. We need to see something new on Smackdown. I am getting tired of the WWE writers being on auto pilot. This really gets on my last fucking nerves.)

Match#1: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a good match. This match was exciting and this match should have had a winner on WWE Raw. I am glad they at least let this match end very clean. I was worried that WWE might fuck up these men. Sheamus is funny at times but he is good in the ring. Barrett is a beast in the ring. I wish he was more of a singles wrestler from the jump but he is a better one now. Thank you for WWE to correct a mistake on WWE Raw.)

Match#2: Natalya vs. Rosa Mendes
Winner: Natalya
(Ok, um where to begin with this match? First, Nattie can wrestle and should be wrestling more often. Rosa is just a model with no talent. This was painful to watch. However, this was only as good as what Nattie did in the ring. This was a quick match because Nattie could not carry this match for so long. No comment with the alliance with Khali and Hornswoggle.)

In Ring Promo: CM Punk comes out and talks about The Rock and Royal Rumble. Paul Heyman has an executive order for the stipulation made by Vince McMahon. Punk called out The Shield. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns come down. They have a staredown and he tells them to get out of his business. They leave and out comes The Rock. He cuts cuts a promo and leaves.
(This was better than the promo on WWE Raw. I guess that was because there was no Shield to interrupt. Speaking of the Shield, we all know that if the Shield will not interfer then we will see Brock Lesnar do something to the Rock. Either way, we will see something different or unique.)

Match#3: Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
Winner: RKO by DQ
(I want to say that this match was boring but it was not boring but 3MB was killing me because of the fact that it is three jobbers acting like jackasses. As for RKO, well I said my peace about RKO. )

Match#4: The Miz vs. Darren Young
Winner: The Miz
(No comment about this match. I will save my comments about The Miz and Antonio Cesaro until the PPV.)

Main Event: Kane, Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow - Six Man Tag Elimination
Winner: ADR is the sole survivor.

After the match: Big Show went nuts on Del Rio and pinned him under the announcers table. Show counted to 10 to end SmackDown.
(Well I can say this was a funny way to end the show. I say that because it is weird to see Big Show outsmart someone. Also it was funny to see ADR fall for the same gimmick that got him the title. I love Big Show but he is starting to act like a craze man.)

Final Thoughts: I am starting to notice that there is no more brand seperation. There is no more Raw vs. Smackdown. Basically, what did not get over on WWE Raw will be cleared on WWE Smackdown. I do want to speak about the PPV but I will just reserve my comments and stuff for Sunday because it is going to be interesting to see who watches and who will admit that it was a good PPV. See you all for WWW Royal Rumble.

TNA Impact Review 1/24/13

Note: This should be an interesting show. No wedding. Brooke and Bully Ray are not married. Hulk still don't trust Bully Ray. Sting is caught up in this mess. I almost forget who was TNA champion but I remember it is someone I don't like. So this will be an interesting show to say the least. Here's TNA Impact.........

Opening Segment: Taz comes out with Aces and Eights. He explains that Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan were collateral damage. He also speaks of the higher power of Aces and Eights.
(This was so boring and cliche. Taz was a good wrestler but he sucks as a commentator. This was weak and played out. I barely watched this because he is not a leader or a good mouthpiece for this group.)

Match#1: Tara vs. Velvet Sky - TNA KO Title Match
Winner: Tara
(My god! This match was like watching strippers at the titty bar. All I say was asses shaking. Tara's was hot as hell. Velvet's ass was showing some meat on them bones. Even the ref, Taryn was bouncing around. My god, I was trying not to fap to this match. Even with all the asses shaking, this was a good match because Tara is a good wrestler. This was a good match. )

Match#2: Zema Ion and Kenny King vs. Christian York and RVD
Winner: Zema Ion and Kenny King
(I usually like X Division match but this was kind of lazy to me. Why? I don't like RVD as X Division champ. He's there for a paycheck. He is not really being the man he was back in the day. The guys were basically not giving it their all this week. I did like that Zema and KK was getting along for the most part.)

Match#3: Bobby Roode vs. Hernandez
Winner: Bobby Roode
(I wanted to see this match but to be honest, my heart was not in the match. I guess because I knew Roode was going to win. Also I think it is because they need actual competition for the tag team champs. What's sad is that Roode and Aries are not tag team material. Both these men should be in the title hunt. This was sad to watch.)

Main Event: Jeff Hardy vs. Christopher Daniels
Winner: Jeff Hardy
(Ok, before I go apeshit over the fact that Hardy is not going anywhere I got something to say about Daniels. He's been in TNA since 2002 and been tag team and X Division champ but never TNA champ. So why is in his time now? Because TNA is like WWE when it comes to their vision of a champ. Daniels is good on the mic and good in the ring. However, TNA is run by old school WCW/WWF/NWA midset. So Daniels in not a big man but he can do shit better than a big man. So saying that, why in the fuck did Hardy win? It is because they want Hardy to stay in TNA. So this was total bullshit. Moving on. )

Final Thoughts: I am going to end this review because this was mostly a lazy ass attempt of a show for TNA. We all know that TNA is in England and will be in England for a while for the tour. There will be no Hardy on the shows because he has a felony and cannot travel. So these shows might be interesting because he won't be there to kill the mood of the show. Next week's show is Open Fight Night or I like to call it Clusterfuck Night. I hope WWE Smackdown is going to make Royal Rumble interesting this week. One can only hope.

WWE Raw Review 1/21/13

Note: This is going to an interesting show because it falls on the MLK holiday plus the president inaguation day. I know WWE tends to ignore things like that but I hope they acknowledge it. We all know that this PPV is the start of the Wrestlemania season. This show is the catalyst for things to come. So let's watch this show and hope for the best. Here's WWE Monday Night Raw.

Opening Segment: Before the show started, WWE acknowledge the fact that it is MLK Day. So they showed part of the famous speech of Dr. Martin Luther King. We go to the ring and see Vickie Guerrero and Paul Heyman. They talk about what happened last week with The Rock and CM Punk. They also speak of how The Rock dissed both Heyman and Vickie. Vickie bans The Rock from getting inside the arena.
(Where to begin with this shit? Really? The Rock is a movie star! He will get in. Aside from that, blocking people to enter the area is so attitude era. This was not good to start the show. By the way, since when does Vickie and Heyman get along? WTF!)

Match#1: Antonio Cesaro vs. Randy Orton - Beat The Clock Challenge Match For Entry In The Royal Rumble
Winner: Randy Orton @ 11:36
(I like RKO. I don't like him to talk or do a promo but he is good in the ring. I hate Cesaro because he is basically boring. This match was like watching kids fight sleep. Plus if Cesaro won then we will not get a U.S. title match at the PPV. Basically, WWE hates the U.S. title and feels like this title is bullshit. I never understood why they put it on Cesaro. The pace of this match is going from slow to boring. Thank you, RKO for ending this shit before I changed channels.)

Match#2: Big Show vs. Zack Ryder
Winner: Big Show
(This was like watching a man get the shit beat out of by a giant. This was quick and painless. I am shocked Zack had a chance in hell to win. I like Show but this was so unfair. By the way, Brad Maddox came to interrupt the announcing team but it was quick as well. )

Match#3: Heath Slater vs. Ryback
Winner: Ryback
(He came, he saw, he ate a boy band. This was quicker to see than Big Show's. This would have been longer but I guess shorter in better. By the way, this match did last long enough for a bathroom break. )

Match#4: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz - Beat The Clock Challenge Match For Entry In The Royal Rumble
Winner: Dolph Ziggler @ 10:56
(This is a good match. Both men are in their prime and both should be in the main event. This match did not disappoint or even insult my intelligence. I love how The Miz as a face is gaining more momentum. As for Ziggler, well I am actually a fan of the pink wearing show off. Not because he has AJ in his corner but because he is a real deal. He finally broke the shadow of all the mid card shit he went through. One question: What if Ziggler not only wins the Rumble but cashes in the MITB?  )

Match#5: Kaitlyn vs. Alicia Fox - Non Title Match
Winner: Kaitlyn
(This was a very short match. I got the chance to see my crush - Kaitlyn. She is better for the division than Eve. This was a quick match because Alicia Fox is not good and we all know we will see AJ vs Kaitlyn soon. We might see also Kaitlyn vs. Tamina soon.)

Match#: Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett - Beat The Clock Challenge Match For Entry In The Royal Rumble
Winner: Sheamus but he did not beat the clock.
(Good match. Action all through out the match. Both men are main eventers. This should have been the best match of the night but was ruined by Ziggler and his posse. I am mad because I wanted Sheamus to win but Ziggler was the true heel. By the way, this did piss me off because watching this match made me believe WWE was going somewhere with this match. )

Match#: Alberto Del Rio vs. Tensai
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(This was suppose to be a good match. I guess this was good on paper. What the fuck am I watching? This is not a good match. This is like Hogan wrestling The Brooklyn Brawler. This was total bullshit. We all know that Tensai is going to be dominate but he will bend like a twig. This was more of a waste for the fans.)

Main Event: John Cena addresses the fans about his Royal Rumble chances. Sheamus comes out to interrupts to say he will win. The Primetime Players comes out to interrupts. Then we see RKO comes out. Then we see The Miz comes out. Then Team Hell No comes out. Next comes Cesaro comes out. 3MB comes out to claim they will win the Rumble. Then the locker room clears out. So basically everyone in the main roster is in the ring.
(At first, I was about to change channels when Cena was being funny. However, after his speech with all the guys coming out it made me want to see all the guys beat up each other. Unlike last year, this year's Rumble match should be interesting.)

Final Thoughts: Well yet again, the last part of the show made the show interesting. This is weird because we saw three sqaush matches and some really interesting storylines that might hold up to seeing life at Wrestlemania. I hope this show is better than advertise. That means no bullshit. Vince made it clear that if the Shield fucks up the WWE title match then CM Punk would lose the title. So until Sunday, see you all for TNA Impact and WWE Smackdown. By the way, no more reviews of Main Event because basically it is pointless to me.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/18/13

Note: After last night's crazy wedding on TNA, I think WWE should give us something to look forward to. ADR is champ now and we should see some matches that weren't on WWE Raw. Also I hope that even though WWE Raw sucked this week, Smackdown should get the people back they lost. So with that said, here's WWE smackdown.....

Opening Segment: ADR and RR are in the ring celebrating the title. Dolph Ziggler and crew comes in to make a threat for the WHC. Big Show comes out to stare down ADR. Sheamus comes down and does like Miz and Cena. Booker T. comes down and does a Teddy Long and make a main event with the four men in the ring.
(This was a good way to start Smackdown. I really don't have must more to say because there is nothing bad to discuss. However, I loved how Sheamus and his attempts to be funny and happy go lucky. So we got a main event.)

Match#1: Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro - Non Title
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(I am sorry but I did not watch this match. Cesaro is boring and Kofi is about to be burried in mid card hell. I think I saw like five minutes and changed channels. I don't like Cesaro. I did see the end and also how Miz was watching the match in the back. Why? The Miz is a main eventer not a mid carder.)

Match#2: Tensai vs. Great Khali
Winner: Great Khali
(The first match was bad. This was unbearable. Not only am I confused with Khali and Natalya but why is Tensai still in WWE. This was almost like watching a train crash with commentating. JBL was running out of things to say during this match. This is a true mid card hell match. )

Match#3: Team Hell No and Randy Orton vs. Team Rhodes Scholars and Wade Barrett
Winner: Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Randy Orton
(This was a good match. Finally, a good match. We all know that Team Hell No and Team Rhodes Scholars will face each other for the title at the PPV. However, it feels weird to see Barrett and Orton face each other again because it lost the luster of their epic and awesome falls count anywhere match. We all know that RKO is going to be heel soon, and I cannot wait. He needs to be out of mid card hell and back in the spotlight.)

Match#4: The Miz vs. Primo
Winner: The Miz
(This match was set up after The Miz was watching Kofi and Cesaro. This was basically a one sided match. So we don't get to see Miz use the skull crushing finale but the figure four. Why? I love the scf. )

Match#5: Kaitlyn vs. Aksana - Non Title Match
Winner: Kaitlyn
(This is weird. A divas match at the end of the show. That's good I hope. So I am a big fan of Kaitlyn and happy she won the title on WWE Raw. This will be interesting because Kaitlyn and AJ will face each other soon. Before I get into this match, let me say that I don't like Aksana. She cannot wrestle. She's a valet or a sexy face in the background. As for my sexy Kaitlyn, I am happy she made it to the top of the division. She is both a wrestler and can be sexy as well. She reminds me of the women of the past like Jacqueline or Victoria (Tara). This match was good because Kaitlyn made it good. Seeing a woman using the spear is sexy and cool.)

Main Event: Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show and Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Sheamus and Del Rio by DQ
(This was not a clusterfuck. This was good TV. I really don't have much to say because this was a good ending for the show. I guess my only issue is the comedy that caused the DQ. Thank you WWE for ending the week right.)

Final Thoughts: This was not the best show but this did make up for the shit we saw on TNA. Also, we are into the road to Wrestlemania season. Hopefully we will see more matches built for the Royal Rumble PPV. Also I cannot wait to see WWE Raw this week to see if we will get more heat and attention with Rock and CM Punk. Good night and see you all for WWE Raw.

TNA Impact Review 1/17/13 - Wedding Edition

Note: This is the first time in a while that I have seen a wedding on TNA. I hope this is going to be a good thing but is not going to take the whole show. Also I know I am asking a lot for this show but then again I expect more from TNA because they are not doing us wrong like WWE. So here's TNA Impact: Wedding Edition.

Match#1: Kaz and Daniels vs. James Storm and Jeff Hardy
Winner: Jeff Hardy and James Storm
(This was possibly the best opening match ever on TNA. I know it is weird to see your champion in the opening match but given the circumstances of tonight, this was the best possible way to start the show. I love how Kaz and Daniels are basically getting over by telling it how it is. James Storm is a guy I want to hacve as my champion and also the face of the company. I still think Jeff Hardy needs to drop the title and finally retire. The match was good. I am shocked that this ended clean. I am glad this did end with no issues.)

Gut Check: Jay Bradley or Brian Cage
Winner: Jay Bradley
(This was unbearable to watch because it was going so slow. I like Gut Check but then again, we figure these kids got a job or not. Why make this more bearable and just put a contract in a case and put it above the ring. Their match last week was like watching kids in the backyard outdoing each other. So good luck to Jay Bradley.)

Match#2: Christian York vs. Kenny King
Winner: Kenny King
(At first, seeing this match at the PPV was kind of boring but Kenny King made it watchable. Their match at the PPV shows that the X Division is the best division of TNA. Their match at the PPV was good enough to be a main event type match. I am not a big fan of York. I think he's too big for the X Division but he can go toe to toe with RVD. This match was basically a rematch because King KO York before facing RVD. King is more dominate and should be facing RVD for the title. Thank god this match was shorter than the PPV match.)

Match#3: Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky - #1 Contenders Rematch
Winner: Velvet Sky
(Before I drool over Gail Kim, let me make something clear to TNA fans and TNA: Velvet Sky cannot wrestle. This match was like watching a difference in styles and tactics. Velvet never used a move that was tailored to an experienced wrestler. All she did was look good to the crowd. I wish TNA would get that she should be doing anything else but wrestle. As for Gail Kim; she can wrestle and is getting sexier by the day. I have said that she looks better in TNA. WWE basically wanted to use her like a model. TNA made her a wrestler. She's the only Asian woman I find sexy as hell. So this match was only good because Gail Kim made it bearable. I did see a lot of botches, so I know Botchamania will be all over this. Thank you Gail Kim for this match.)

Main Event: The Wedding of Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray. The groomsmen were Tazz, Tommy Dreammer, and Spike Dudley. The bridesmaids were Mickie James, Christy Hemme, and Miss Tessmacher. Hulk Hogan did come down to walk his daughter down the ring. The ceremony was almost over when Tazz interrupts. Tazz questions Bully Ray about marrying Brooke. He takes off his jacket and reveals a vest with the Aces and Eights logo. Aces and Eights comes down and tears up the ring and beats up the men. Sting comes to make the save but was laid out as well. Aces and Eights show Brooke the damamge and let her go to tend to Bully Ray and Hulk. The end of the show.
(Where to begin with this gigantic clusterfuck? So Tazz is a part of Aces and Eights? Why? Brooke and Bully aren't married? Why? Hulk did come to walk his daughter down the aisle. Basically like everyone thinks that this angle is like the orignal NWO angle in WCW. People join Aces and Eights out of the blue. So this was a big waste of time.)

Final Thoughts: What I am about to say is going to be in caps because it will convey the anger and frustration of what I felt for this show. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, TNA? YOU BASICALLY FUCKED OVER THE FANS BY GIVING US THREE MATCHES AND WASTED THE END OF THE SHOW WITH THIS BULLSHIT!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING HIGH OR CRAZY!!!!!!!! PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE!!!! Now that I said that, basicallly this was like watching two different shows. One had good wrestling and the other was wasting time. Going to hope that WWE Smackdown will make things better.

WWE Raw 20th Anniversary Review 1/14/13

Note: I cannot believe that this is the 20th anniversary show. I have to be honest and say that I been watching WWE Raw on cable for the last 16 years. I did not see the shows prior to 1993. I started to really watch WWE back in 1996 during the peak of the attitude era. WWE Raw is the main show of the WWE. I laugh because WWE Smackdown is almost 15 years old. So that means WWE Raw lasted longer than shows like 24, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and even Thunder in Paradise. So I guess as I try to watch this show, I hope it is better than the Raw 1000th episode show. So let's watch and hope we don't see something stupid.

Opening Segment: Mr. McMahon is in the ring to boast about the views and then gives us a rundown of the matches set for tonight's show. Big Show comes out before Mr. McMahon leaves the ring. They talk about what happened last week on Smackdown. Alberto Del Rio comes out to address Big Show. They fight and Big Show leaves the ring.
(Well I can say this was an interesting way to start the show. At least this is not Sheamus and Del Rio. Big Show can be more easier to hate and Del Rio is getting more and more easier to like. Besides, at least they did not do something stupid like waste a match on Raw or Smackdown just to gain momentum. So far, so good people.)

Match#1: Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton - Non Title Match
Winner: Wade Barrett
(I don't know what's worse to see in this match: RKO starting the show or Barrett starting the show. Both these men are title contenders. Barrett should be in the title picture and same goes for RKO. This is basically a wasted match. These men brawled most of 2011 and 2012. These men are not jobbers or mid carders. I am so pissed that these men are wrestling first. I don't need to comment on the match quality because these men can make a good match. However, the fact that they started the show upsets me.)

Backstage Segment: Kane and Daniel Bryan go through their segment with with their anger management therapist. They lie to their doctor but their doctor brings in Team Rhodes Scholars in trigger their anger issues. Damien and Cody insult Dr. Shelby but Dr. Shelby gets angry and tells Team Hell No to beat them up.
(At first, this was looking bad and basically a waste of time. I figured this was going to be a joke and be a comedic segment to fill the show with laughs. However, the lies were funny as hell. The whole thing was funny. Dr. Shelby did throw a swerve with bring in Team Rhodes Scholars. At the end, Team Hell No looked good. Give the assist to Dr. Shelby. Never compare Dr. Shelby to Dr. Phil.)

Match#2: Kane vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Kane
(This match basically a sqaush. Kane is a bad ass. Damien was a joke. The segment before this match set this up. By the way, Kane is handy for BBQs, Campfires, and the occasional substitute for a lighter.)

In Ring Segment: First person to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 is Mick Foley. However The Shield comes down to the ring to take out Foley but Ryback comes to take on the Shield. RKO comes out to save Ryback. Sheamus comes out to save RKO and Ryback.
(What the fuck! I cannot believe that this good moment was ruined by The Shield vs. Ryback, RKO and Sheamus. So Foley is going to the HOF but we got a side show? What the fuck? Since when do we get a HOF announcement interrupted by bullshit? So fucking pissed.)

Match#3: Eve Torres vs. Kaitlyn - Divas Title Match
Winner: Kaitlyn - New Champion
(Ok so Eve should lose regardless? I think this is bullshit because Kaitlyn should have won the title months ago. I am in love with Kaitlyn and I don't like Eve. I know that Eve is about to leave WWE because she is married and is moving on from WWE. I cannot wait for her to leave. As for Kaitlyn, my god she's hot. I know I should be objective but Kaitlyn can wrestle. Once Eve leaves, all the models are gone. That means women can wrestle again. Thank you Kaitlyn for winning the title.)

Match#4: Brodus Clay vs. CM Punk - Non Title Match
Winner: CM Punk
(Why is CM Punk facing anyone in the middle of the show? How did Brodus Clay get out of mid card hell? I don't want people to think I am bitching but this is weird. CM Punk and Brodus Clay should not be facing each other but since CM Punk brought up Brodus during his tirade last week, it was bound to happen. This match wa basically a tune up for CM Punk. Sorry for Brodus. )

Match#5: Sheamus vs. 3MB - Over The Rope Challenge
Winner: Heath Slater
(This was a joke of a match. However, Sheamus taking out 3MB was priceless and fucking funny. I wish I could talk about this match more but it was short and sweet. )

MizTV: The Miz comes out to plug the guest for the next MizTV show. It will be Ric Flair. Ric Flair talks about the past and present of the WWE. Then we are presented with all the catchphrases of the WWE for the last 20 years. Then Antonio Cesaro comes out with the U.S. flag. He insults The Miz and Flair. Flair and The Miz takes out Cesaro. Finally, we see Flair go for the figure four leg lock but the Miz does it instead.
(The ending made up for this segment's reason to be on TV. I like the Miz regardless of what. Thank you WWE for using Flair in a non wrestling role. Cesaro is going to lose that title soon. This was good at the end but the flashbacks were a bit much.)

Match#6: Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes
Winner: Daniel Bryan
(Unlike Kane and Sandow match earlier, this might be a longer match. Actually, it was shorter match. I guess I won't have a chance to say anything else because this match is over. This was a good quick match. )

Breaking News: Eve just quit the WWE!
(She took the route of people like Jericho and Batista. However, most people knew about this move for about a week or so. She is married. She is done wrestling. She wants to be a reality star plus she used WWE like other models did. Good bye.....)

Match#7: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena - Steel Cage Match
Winner: john Cena
(I said that WWE need to do more matches like this on TV because it makes fans want to see more gimmick matches. I love being right. Steel cage matches are good for business because it makes fans want to see more action. However, the guys in this match are guys I really don't want to see in a gimmick match. Cena is basically Hogan of the 21st century. Ziggler is just about to come into his own. I hated that he went from Vickie to AJ. Plus Big E is going to turn on Ziggler like guys like Diesel turned on HBK. I am not a fan of Cena. I use to be but he's played out. Ziggler is trying to shed the stink of The Spirit Squad. This is not going to be a great match but maybe good enough. By the way, Cena might go for his sixth move of doom tonight. So basically this match was a setup to make sure Cena loses and Ziggler wins. Big E is doing everything from smashing Cena with a chair to using the cage door as a weapon. Cena won because Ziggler, Big E and AJ basically could not beat him.)

Main Event: The Rock comes out. He reminisces about his first time on Raw. They show the pic of The Rock back in 1994. Then The Rock sits down and sings to CM Punk. He then ask Vickie Guerrero to come out so he can sing to her. The song he sings to her basically dogs her. He stops singing and calls out CM Punk. Punk comes out with Heyman. No music just them. After some talk, we see Punk and Rock brawling. Refs come out to hold them back. Show ends.
(First, we get cookie puss now we get twinkie tits. Then we get a good brawl. This basically saved the show. However, this is just a beginning of a bigger war between these men. The comedy helped set up the action. This was basically the best for both men. CM Punk looked dominate. The Rock was in rare form. Thank you for this, WWE. )

Final Thoughts: This show has been on for 20 years. I will be honest with you all but this was very weak. There was not a lot of former WWE stars that actually showed up. This was mostly clips and other things. I wish I could say that this was a good way to cap off 20 years but this was WWE writing at it's worse. I like some of the current things but in the long run, this was the crappy writing. Also unlike the 1000th episode of WWE Raw, this was so bias to the current people. Happy anniversary but we move on. See you all for the aftermath of TNA Genesis on TNA Impact.

TNA Genesis PPV 1/13/13

Note: This is the first PPV from TNA in 2013. I hope this is better than what we say last year. This marks the first full year of PPV that started Gene The Grappler. So I hope to see something good. We will see. So with that said, here's TNA Genesis.

Match#1: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan - TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
Winners: Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero
(I wish I could say that I wanted to see this match. I didn't want to see this match. I don't think Chavo and Hernandez are really being challenged. This is really sad because I think TNA is lacking in the tag team division like WWE was. As for Joey Ryan, he's being wasted in this mess. He should be in the X Division. As for Morgan, why in the fuck they rehire him? He can't wrestle. I guess this was a match that I was bored to see but question everything in this match. Time for TNA do make some real tag teams.)

Match#2: Samoa Joe vs. Mr. Anderson
Winner:  Mr. Anderson
(I will admit this was a better match than the first one. This one at least had some meaning to it. Plus it is nice to see both men do something aside from talk. I love Samoa Joe because he can do work in the ring. Anderson is better off in TNA because he is injury prone. Good match and this does help with the Aces and Eights storyline.)

Match#3: Christian York vs. Kenny King - #1 Contender’s Match for the X Division Championship
Winner:  Christian York
(This was a fucking good match. Thank you TNA for making this PPV better. It is sad to say that the X Division is better than the heavyweight division. Both guys made this match worth a second look. I love the ending and also love the fact that York was laid out before RVD came in the ring.)

Match#4: Rob Van Dam vs. Christian York - X Division Championship Match
Winner:  Rob Van Dam
(Well I think the title should have changed hands but I also think that York was set up to fail at this PPV. Nothing new with this match because RVD is there to collect a paycheck. So the president of the paycheck players club did make his money. So sad because it is time to let the kids run wild.)

Match#5: Devon vs. Joseph Park
Winner:  Devon
(This was boring. I wanted to see Abyss come back but we got a jobber and a mid carder fight it out. This did help the Aces and Eights storyline but this match was seriously boring. I hope Abyss comes back soon.)

Match#6: Knockouts Gauntlet Match with Gail Kim, Velvet Sky, Mickie James, Miss Tessmacher, ODB, and Madison Rayne
Winner: Velvet Sky
(Well this was more like watching a man's wet dream come true. All these women in the ring. It was hard to concentrate. I wished ODB or Mickie James would have won. Velvet Sky is not a wrestler. She's a model that can pretend to wrestle. I did love seeing my TNA treat - Gail Kim. )

Match#7: #1 Contender’s Match - Christopher Daniels vs. James Storm
Winner: Christopher Daniels
(No comment on this match. I just am speechless.)

Match#8: DOC vs. Sting
Winner: Sting
(This was like watching Sting on WCW Saturday Night face a jobber. This did help the storyline with Aces and Eights but then again, this was a fucking joke. I really think it is time for him to retire. I mean seriously. Moving on from this....)

Main Event: Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode - TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Winner: Jeff Hardy
(Bobby Roode and Austin Aries are acting like Team Hell No in WWE. Both these men are acting like kids fighting over a toy. I will say that I wanted to see a title change because Hardy should leave. I wanted to see Aries run with the title and do something inventive. Roode is not going anywhere and will have his time to have the title. Hardy is on his way out.)

Final Thoughts: Well as a whole, they did help the Aces and Eights storyline but this is worse than the NWO in WWE. By the way, why did Daniels get a title shot? Basically, this was a genesis of same shit going into the new year. I wish I could say more but most of this PPV was garbage. See you all for WWE Monday Night Raw's 20th Anniversary.

WWE Smackdown Review 1/11/13

Note: I am coming into this show hoping to see something better than TNA Impact last night. I want to see something different from WWE because right now, the Royal Rumble PPV is not something I want to watch regardless of what. So with that said, here's WWE Smackdown.

Opening Segments: CM Punk and Paul Heyman comes out to bash the Rock. The Rock comes out to cheers. Team Rhodes Scholars come out to harass the Rock. Both are humiliated by the Rock.
(The Rock is on Smackdown? Really? What the fuck? Actually, this is good because we all know that Cena rarely comes on Smackdown. So this was good to see him on a show he basically created. Thank you Rock and welcome back. As for Team Rhodes Scholars, well I hope they learned to never mess with the Rock.)

Match#1: Randy Orton vs. Antonio Cesaro
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(RKO is jobbing? Why? This is not something I want to see first. I don't think RKO is a jobber. Cesaro is a joke. Moving on.)

Match#2: AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler vs. Natalya and The Great Khali
Winners: AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler
(I will let this match slide because too many fucking questions to ask and no answers to come up with. Really?)

Match#3: Sheamus vs. 3MB - Handicap Match
Winner: Sheamus
(Why? Really? Why? So confused with this match as well. Moving on. )

Match#4: Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
Winners: Team Hell No
(Wow, what is this? Three shitty matches in a row. Moving on to the end.)

Main Event: Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio - World Heavyweight Title Match
Winner: Alberto Del Rio - New Champion
(HOLY SHIT!!!!!! ADR is the new champ. This was so fucking unexpected. I mean I did not think this would happen on Smackdown. Even though I knew about this in advance this still is shocking. So what is wrong with Big Show? Why did ADR win? He did not make this match slow and boring. I am stunned.)

Final Thoughts: The beginning and the end was the best ever. I want to know what the fuck was going on in the middle. It was like watching two different shows. The Rock comes back to Smackdown is a big event. ADR being the WHC is a big event. The middle was total bullshit. Ok well I will see you all for the TNA PPV Genesis

TNA Impact Review 1/10/13

Note: This is the last show before the Genesis PPV. I hope they can make a good case to watch the PPV. I also want to know where the Aces and Eights storyline is going. I hope this don't drag along. I also hope to see something different. Here's TNA Impact.

Match#1: Zema Ion vs. Kenny King
Winner: Kenny King
(I love the X Division because it does make the younger talent do more to entertain. This was actually a good way to start the show. I hope to see some action like this at the PPV this sunday.)

Match#2: Jesse and Tara vs. Robbie T and Ms. Tessmacher
Winner: Robbie T and Ms. Tessmacher
(I wish I could say this was boring. The only good thing from this match is Tara. This woman is still a pro. I would comment on her body but we all know that she is fucking hot. I love that she can be a heel or a face and still do good work. Everything else was pointless.)

Match#3: Brian Cage vs. Jay Bradley - Gutcheck Challenge
Winner: Jay Bradley
(This was interesting to watch. Both men were basically trying to get a job in TNA. This was just interesting. I am speechless with this match. )

Match#4: Bobby Roode and Austin Aries vs. James Storm and Jeff Hardy
Winners: No Contest
(I was so confused with this match. I am going to move on because I am getting upset with how this ended. Also we all know how this match was going to end. I hope the title match does not end like this.)

Main Event: Sting vs. Mike Knox
Winner: Sting
(Wow this was so boring and one sided. Basically wasted a PPV match. Going to move on to the end.)

After The Match: Sting grabs the ball peen hammer and smashes the hand of Mike. He goes to do it again, but Aces and 8s come out with Devon on the mic. Devon tells him to stop. They have Brooke. Devon tells him to stop and stay there. If they come any further, Brooke will not look the same once she comes back to the show. Brooke wants to leave but Devon tells her to shut up. 2012 was Aces and 8s year but 2013 is even bigger for them. Bully Ray quickly runs out and meets the group. He has his chain and pounds the members. They flee the scene. Ray has Brooke but Hulk Hogan appears on the stage. Hulk is in the ring with Sting, Bully Ray and Brooke. Hogan has a mic and guesses he suppose to thank Ray for saving Brooke and bow down to him. Hogan says he is not real and is not a good guy for his daughter. Ray tries to get support from Sting, but Hogan tells him off. Ray says Hogan is not thinking straight. He is even talking trash to his friend. Ray has been in this business for 20 years. He loves this business. He hopes to be as good and great as Sting or Hogan. He thought he couldn't love anything more than pro wrestling….then Brooke came into his life. She came into his life to apologize for Hulk being such a hardass on him. Ray even had Sting’s back and Hogan went against it. Ray can’t even think right now. Hogan suddenly throws down his mic. Bully says he can throw his mic down too. Hogan tells him to do it. Ray pulls Brooke in front of him. He is not good with feelings. He doesn’t give his emotions up but Brooke makes him laugh and….Ray stops and gets down to one knee. Hogan moves to looks. He is dumbfounded. His mouth is wide open. He is starting to get furious. Ray takes a ring out and puts it on the hand of Brooke. He loves her. Their relationship has been all over television but he wants her to marry him. Brooke says yes and he stands up. They kiss. Ray says he wants to marry her and have the wedding in front of everyone next week. Hogan is furious. He gets out of the ring. His face tells the story. Brooke and Ray celebrate as Ray’s music hits. They kiss and say, “I love you.” Ray shows off the ring as the show fades.
(So this falls under what the fuck. So we are going to see a wedding with Bully Ray and Brooke? I am sorry but I call bullshit. Time to end this........)

Final Thoughts: I was excited to see this show but I am more so disguisted because of the end. Unlike WWE Raw, the end of Impact makes the show worse than it was. I hope the PPV is better because these matches did not help the PPV. I guess I will watch WWE Smackdown to see something new and exciting.

WWE Raw Review 1/7/13

Note: This is the official first WWE Raw of 2013. This is the much hyped return of The Rock. This is the episode that sets up the events of the Royal Rumble PPV. It should be said that this is WM time. We got three months until the much hyped WM29 in the NY/NJ. So hold on and let's watch the first WWE Raw of 2013. Here we go...........

Opening Segment: John Cena vs. AJ Lee, Big E Langston, and Dolph Ziggler
(Well let's start with the fact that AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler is the new power couple so to speak. As for Big E Langston, well I hope he stays in the main roster because he is going to be a star. I just hope he does not end up in mid card hell. As for Cena, well it is said to see him feud with someone that is not on his level yet. Basically this is how WWE got Cena out of the title picture for a while. Also he is not able to face The Rock again.)

Match#1: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena
Winner: John Cena
(This was not a fair match. I think Cena is trying to kill the heat of Ziggler. He should be WHC by now. He's not because of Cena. This was a bullshit match because Cena is basically a trying to kill heat from popular people. He tried to do that with CM Punk. He is doing that with Ziggler. Hell, he killed Zack Ryder. So this was not a good way to start the show but I barely watched this match.)

Match#2 - WWE Divas Title Match: Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres
Winner by Count Out: Kaitlyn
(OMG!!!!!! Why is Kaitlyn being cheated out of the Divas title? Why is WWE trying to keep this bullshit title on Eve? I just watched this match to see sexy Kaitlyn. I want to see her win the title and be a true womans champ. I think WWE is trying to kill popular people to make their people look good. Basically, this was a bullshit match. So fucking pissed.)

Match#3: Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan
Winners: Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes
(Good news is that we will see a title change soon. Better news is that Team Rhodes Scholars should be tag champs right now. Bad news is that Team Hell No is still around and we will see Dr. Shelby come back next week. This match was boring because we have seen this match over and over. Also, I find it funny that they brought back Dr. Shelby.)

Match#4: Heath Slater vs. Randy Orton
Winner: Randy Orton
(Where to begin with this sad excuse of a match? So RKO is about to join the ranks of mid card hell. 3MB is the rock band of mid card hell. This was a showcase of mid card hell. So why did I watch this shitty match? I didn't. I did see the end. This is why I think RKO needs to be heel and made a WHC title contender. I know it is going to happen this year.)

Match#5: Wade Barrett vs. Santino Marella
Winner: Wade Barrett
(This was a wasted match. Why? Because it was sad to see Barrett do shit like this. This was bullshit. Moving on.)

Match#6: The Great Khali vs. Antonio Cesaro
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(This is another wasted match. I saw this shit on Smackdown. Moving on.)

Match#7: Sheamus vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: Sheamus
(Not only is RKO about to be a mid carder but Sheamus is about to join him. This was bullshit. Moving on. )

Match#8 - TLC Match for the WWE Title: Ryback vs. CM Punk
Winner: CM Punk
(So I guess CM Punk will face The Rock for the title at Royal Rumble. Well I guess Ryback is back to be a jobber killer. This match was good for a TV match. There was usage of all three items. The Shield did come to save CM Punk. So does this make me happy? No! I think it was a great match but cheapen by the Shield. Also, it was bullshit that the Shield killed Ryback as a main eventer. So the match was ok but could have been better.)

Match#9: Kofi Kingston vs. Big Show
Winner: Big Show
(Big Show is a big bad ass motherfucker. So legitimately, he is not going to be beaten. This match basically made two points: Big Show needs competition and Kofi is back in mid card hell. That's it for this match. )

Main Event: Confrontation with The Rock and CM Punk.
(Let me summarize this whole segment in one word: Overhyped. This was like watching what kids do while playing on WWE 12 or WWE 13. This was basically a joke of a main event/closing segment. The Rock basically was in cruise control and CM Punk was overselling everything. This is so unlike either of these men. Basically, WWE is about to fuck up already in 2013. CM Punk is about to be a joke as a champ. The Rock is basically about to job to CM Punk. This is so fucking sad. )

Final Thoughts: Was I disappointed with this episode of WWE Raw? Fuck yeah, I am. This was hyped to be the show of all shows for 2013. This was bullshit for the most part. What the fuck? So we got the Rock back to WWE? Ok cool but he is going to be hyping his movies. CM Punk is still champ but for how much longer. Cena is killing Ziggler. Sheamus and RKO are basically dying in the madness. So basically, I am going to move on and hope for better in 2013. I guess I hope TNA will be better in 2013 but we will see.

12 Changes For TNA in 2013

Dear Fans of Gene The Grappler:

Unlike my WWE top twelve changes for 2013, the TNA changes I want to suggest will be more focused. I want to say that I am becomming a fan of TNA. I am not because it is just guys from WWE doing the stuff that is not cool in WWE now. I hope this won't be as controversal as the WWE list. Here's my top twelve changes for TNA in 2013...............Time to do work, son.

1.) X Division needs to change for the better.
This is simple. No more RVD, Kid Kash, or anyone that was good back in the day. Time to give Kenny King, Christian York, and guys younger than RVD a chance to do what the X Division is good at: fast paced action and crazy ass stunts. Seeing Austin Aries vs. Zema Ion was madness. Seeing Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorenson was crazy until Sorenson got injured. More action and less old men.

2.) Retire the Divas Tag Team Titles.....NOW!!!!!!
Ok, this was something that made me scratch my head all of 2012. Why is ODB and EY holding these titles? They might be married but we need to do something with these titles ASAP. Unlike the TV title, it is time to retire these titles soon. No point in forcing the women to tag together. Also, it is pointless because the KO division is about the main title.

3.) TV Title: Use it more on TV and less on PPV.
Devon is holding this title again. Why? Please use this title for the jobbers in TNA. I know once the whole Aces and Eights storyline is over, and then we need to do something good with this title. This should be defended on TV only. This should be defended first on TNA Impact. Time to make this a real working man's title. Like in WWE with the IC title, this should be the workhorse title of TNA.

4.) Jobbers in TNA......Build them up or let them go.
I am not a fan of Robbie E and Robbie T. I think it is time to make stars or let them go back to the indys. No more jobber matches with Robbie E or T. No more jobber matches with anyone that is not really a main eventer. Just tired of the bullshit.

5.) Eric Young.........Do something with him!
So you marry him off to ODB? Ok then, it is nice to have a valet or someone cool to be with. EY needs to come back to the X Division and challenge for the title. Time to make him more popular and less like a glorified jobber. My god, he was  gone for the most of the end of 2012. Time to make him a star in 2013.

6.) Brooke and Hulk Hogan............Time to go!!!!!
In 2013, it is time to let the Hogans go. I think we need to see Dixie Carter be more active in the storylines. Like Vince of the past, it is time to see Dixie be a bitch and go HAM in TNA. I guess it is also time to let Hogan retire. Also it is time to let Brooke fend for herself.

7.) Sting.............Go away for good!!!!!!
Just like Hogan, it is time for Sting to retire. Why? TNA is trying to use old WWE and WCW guys of the past. So Sting didn't jump to WWE in 2002 but instead he go to TNA. I think it is time for the old men to go to rest and let the young men have fun in the spotlight.

8.) Revamp the KO division.
I know this a stretch but this is something that needs to be done. Why? Well like in WWE with their divas division, it is time to get more females in the ring in TNA. Mickie James, Gail Kim, ODB, and Tara are basically carrying the division. Time to make Velvet Sky, Miss Tessmacher, and others become valets. No point to have these women in TNA because these women cannot wrestle. I know this might be something people might disagree on but I think it is time to get some women that can wrestle in TNA.

9.) Jeff Hardy........Let him go into the sunset!!!!!!
The only reason why Jeff Hardy is champion is to keep him there. Let him go! I think Jeff Hardy needs to go back to the indys or one more run in WWE then him and his brother goes into the HOF. I like Hardy but then again, I think his time was up years ago. One more run in WWE then retire or indys. Please make this happen.

10.) Aces and Eights...........Needs more members!!!!!!!
I am changing my mind about the group known as Aces and Eights. I think Aces and Eights needs to go the route of NWO. Get more members will be the way to make them more of a creditable threat not a joke. I mean get some names not WWE rejects like Luke Gallows or Mike Knox.

11.) Abyss/Joseph Parks does not equal the Faces of Foley
So we have not seen Abyss in months but we get Joseph Parks. I wish I like this but I don't. I want to see Abyss back to take out Aces and Eights. I want to see Abyss go for titles. I don't want to see Joseph Parks. Time to go back to normal!

12.) Gut Check needs to do more for young talent.
I want to see more talent. I want to see fresh talent. So let's make Gut Check more prevalent. I know this is the TNA version of NXT or Tough Enough. I want more talent in TNA that is not recycled from WWE. More women, more high flyers, and more young talent.

I know most of my suggestions are a bit of a stretch. I think most of my ideals sound like a fanboy but I love wrestling. I want to like TNA but if they keep going back to the WCW playbook, I might not want to watch it anymore in 2013. I want to be clear that I don't deal with facts or reports but I do see what I would do different or would do to make it better. I just want to see good wrestling.

Gene The Grappler

12 Changes For WWE in 2013

Dear Fans of Gene The Grappler:

What I am about to discuss is something I have been tinkering with for the new year in wrestling. I know this is a long shot to suggest something this drastic and blantant but I think some of these might work in the long run. This is the WWE version of my top tweleve changes for WWE in 2013. Here we go...........

1.) Shorten WWE Raw back to Two Hours: Either from 8pm to 10pm or 9pm to 11pm.
Why go back to two hours? Simple, it is because no one watches the 8pm to 9pm hour. That is total             bullshit. It is like watching any WWE film without seeing a WWE star. Pointless. So go back to two hours for at least during the     boring times which will be soon. Shorten the fucking show.

2.) Live Smackdowns on Tuesdays or Thurdays: Preferably Thursdays to face off with TNA Impact.
This is a no brainer. Since TNA flopped on Mondays last year, this time around let WWE Smackdown be live on Thursday. Plus this could lead to making Smackdown a better show. No more B level status. This could also help TNA have something to actually challenge. Time for change, people.

3.) No more squash matches: No more Ryback quickies.
This is short and sweet. Ryback is not Goldberg. No more short matches with him. He can go longer than 5 minutes. Please allow him to grow into someone that is just out to kill jobbers. Nothing else needs to be said.

4.) Improve the Divas Division: Means more wrestling and less bitching.
Another short point to discuss. No more models!!!!!! I know there are women in the indys that can wrestle. We need to see     more longer matches with women. No more excuses because I know Natalya and Kaitlyn can go for at least 10 minutes. Basically, it is time to give the women their due.

5.) WWE Alumnis as GMs of Raw and Smackdown: No more of the same people.
Ric Flair is back in WWE. Don't make him a GM of WWE Raw. Booker T. and Teddy Long needs to go. Same with Vickie. So I  think it is time to see someone that has never had power in the WWE. Anyone but the same few people. Repetition in the     WWE needs to end.

6.) NXT needs to be on TV: No more internet shows or bullshit.
Why is NXT shown in Canada, England, and Russia but not in the USA? Why is NXT more for internet people then actual fans?  No one would not know about Big E Langston without the fact that he was the NXT champion. Same with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, or Dean Ambrose. So why should we be denied of seeing the rookies on NXT?

7.) Less Gimmick Matches on PPV and More on TV: Gimmick Matches = Ratings.
I will guess that WWE is slowly moving away from PG. So that means it is time to put more gimmick matches on TV. There will be a TLC match on WWE Raw. That's a start. I would love to see a cage match once in a while. Please give me a  gimmick match.

8.) The Return of Managers: Use lesser wrestlers to be managers or valets.
Rosa Mendes cannot wrestle but she is a good valet. Paul Heyman is a good mouthpiece but is not a good wrestler. My point     is that use the guys that are not being used to be managers or backstage help. Josh Matthews is an example of this. Also     Matt Stryker.

9.) Build Young Talent: Give the young guys a chance for titles and PPV matches on the PPV.
This is a big pet peeve of mines. I am tired of the same fuckers getting title shots, matches and the spotlight. I want to see Zack Ryder in a major title match. I want to see Daniel Bryan go for the WWE title again. I want to see anyone from NXT get a title shot. I am tired of seeing the same guys get title shots.

10.) Randy Orton = Heel Turn for 2013: Good for rantings and fans.
I know this will get me heat but fuck it. RKO is a cool heel. He needs to be a cool heel. Take out Sheamus or ADR. RKO needs to be back to what he was in 2011 and part of 2012. RKO as a heel would help in the long run.

11.) Less PPVs or more PPVs quality on TV: No more boring PPVs.
There are five shows on TV and 12 PPVs from the WWE. Two of the shows are the keys to what people see. The other three are more for kids and families that don't want to see blood or real violence. My point is that it is time to either fix the PPVs on WWE or time to go old school and go back to the original four PPVs and maybe a show on NBC three times a year. Something is better than nothing.

12.) Bring back the brand extension: Seperate but equal for both shows.
It is time to make WWE fun by seperate shows. Time for a change. WWE Raw is the A show. WWE Smackdown should be the A show and WWE Smackdown should be also. No more guys on WWE Raw from Smackdown. No more equal shows. Time to go back to what show would outdo each other. I want to see the old competition of WWE Raw vs. WWE Smackdown.

I know this is hard to process because it is not going to be done but then again, someone might suggest something. I don't want to see the same shit in a different package. I want a change. This is something to start a change and hopefully an end to something boring and stale. The TNA list might be shorter than this but then again, it is not going to be as bad as this WWE list. Good night to you all.............

WWE Smackdown Review 1/4/13

Note: This is not the official WWE Smackdown of 2013. This was taped in 2012. This is a sham of a show. According to one of my close people via facebook, this was a shitty show. Well I guess Gene The Grappler is going to be like the Nostalgia Critic of shitty wrestling shows between TNA and WWE. So I am going to watch this and hope I don't go HAM on this show. Here's WWE Smackdown.........

Opening Segment: Showdown with Sheamus, Randy Orton, Antonio Cesaro, and Big Show. All four men are in a match at the end of the show.
(Well this is ok to a point. Even though we will be seeing Big Show and Sheamus in a match. However, I hope with RKO and Cesaro involved this might be different. I hope.)

Match#1: Heath Slater vs. The Miz
Winner: The Miz
(Where to begin with this match? Why am I seeing The Miz in a jobber match? Why is 3MB still together? This match have more questions than answers. I am not a fan of this boy band jobber team. I also think it is time to see The Miz headline WM. The match was a clinic because The Miz needed the boost.)

Match#2: Natalya, Hornswoggle and The Great Khali vs. Primo, Epico and Rosa Mendes
Winners: Natalya, Hornswoggle and The Great Khali
(I want my five minutes back. What the fuck did I just see? This was bad. I am fucking speechless.)

Match#3: Wade Barrett vs. Kofi Kingston - IC Title Match
Winner:  Wade Barrett
(The match on WWE Raw was good. This was not. This could have been saved for Royal Rumble. I know we will see this at Royal Rumble. This was not as good as Monday night. I only say that because of the pace. It was not as fast as it was on Monday. This was more paced out. So I guess this feud will not be over for a while.)

Match#4: Tamina Snuka vs. Layla El
Winner:  Tamina Snuka
(I wanted to watch this match as is. I did watch this match as is. However, since there was no Kaitlyn, my attention was on Layla. I think she is ok as a wrestler but she is more of a model. She's hot. Tamina is hot as well but for a different reason. This was not a good match. However, it was good eye candy.)

Main Event: Randy Orton & Sheamus vs. The Big Show & Antonio Cesaro
Winners: RKO and Sheamus
(I think Teddy and Booker needs to stop doing tag matches as main events. This was more of a setup. I did liked that RKO is showing signs of a heel turn. Sheamus and Big Show still are feuding but RKO in the mix is helping me watch this more. Cesaro was just wasted. Good. Time to show that he is not a main eventer. Good match though for the setup for Royal Rumble.)

Final Thoughts: My friend was right - this show sucked. Five fucking matches? What the fuck? RKO and Sheamus basically was the show. This was taped before the new year. So this shit needs to be filed with 2012. I guess I will hope that the actual first WWE RAW of 2013 will be great. See you all for the return of The Rock.

TNA Impact Review 1/3/13

Note: This was a live show for TNA in 2013. Wow, this might be interesting. I hope to see some changes in TNA for the new year. I know that's a stretch but then again, I am hopeful at best. So here's TNA Impact of 2013. Time for changes........

Match#1: James Storm vs. Kazarian
Winner: James Storm
(Good match to start the show. I think Kaz is underrated. Time for him to go after a title aside from the tag titles. James Storm is the TNA's version of Stone Cold Steve Austin. This was a good way to make TNA fans happy. By the way, Daniels was in this match as well. Love seeing Daniels actually wrestle not talk.)

Match#2: Kid Kash vs. Christian York – X-Division Tournament Match
Winner:  Christian York
(Thank you God for this match. This match just proved my point about letting the young guys have a chance. This was actually a good fucking match. Kid Kash is not a jobber. Christian York is very agile for a big man. This was a match of moves. Thank you TNA for this match.)

Match#3: Hernandez vs. Joey Ryan
Winner: Hernadez by DQ
(This was total bullshit. Moving on.)

In Ring Segment: Hulk Hogan is in the ring and grabs a mic. He says he is going to get right to it. First of all, sorry for not being there last week. There was a lot going on and two weeks ago he caught Brooke and Ray making out. He is back and wants to get this over with. Ray, if you are back there, and I know you are, come out and you too Brooke. He wants both of them and gets both of them. Ray’s music hits and he comes out with Brooke at his side. Ray then leads her. They get in the ring. Hogan says Ray wants respect from Hogan for months now. Hogan couldn’t really understand it. He then starts talking about a code. There is a code to tell each other things but he didn’t and wants to know why. Ray paces around and then looks at Brooke. Ray turns to face Hulk. He has a mic and says Hulk is right and should have came clean about him and Brooke. The heat is on him. Hulk has been trying to tell everyone how bad Ray is and that he shouldn’t be trusted. Ray shouldn’t be in this business. Brooke tries to interfere but Hulk says it is between them. If this was 20 years ago, Ray would have been gone by now. With this time period with lawyers and lawsuits and general managers, Bully Ray is suspended without pay. Get out of my ring! Ray can’t believe it. Hulk turns to Brooke and says she made the decision too so get the hell out of my ring. Brooke is shocked. Ray turns and asks if he is serious. He then grabs Brooke and leads her out of the ring. Ray grabs her hand and walks up the ramp. They turn and Hogan’s music plays. Bully asks Brooke what is wrong with her father.
(WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!! What is this shit? Moving on.)

Match#4: Gail Kim and Tara vs. Mickie James and Ms. Tessmacher
Winner: Mickie James and Ms. Tessmacher
(Thank you TNA for good women wrestling. This might not be the best match but this was the shit. Not only did I see Gail Kim but Tara and that ASS!!!!! I was happy as hell. This was a good match. Thank you......)

Main Event: Devon and Masked Man vs. Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle in a Steel Cage Match
Winners: Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe

After The Match: Kurt Angle gets up and goes right for the mask, but Doc enters the ring and attacks him and Joe. Aces and 8s run out and they enter the ring. They attack both Kurt and Joe. Mr. Anderson watches from the outside. They choke Joe and Kurt with their boots. Just then, Sting comes out with his black baseball bat. He enters the ring and takes out one member guy one. They are all going down. The members are slowly exiting the area. They leave through the door while one climbs the cage. One member is left in the ring. Joe pushes him to Sting and Sting hits him with the baseball bat. Kurt grabs the mask and RIPS it off! It’s Mike Knox! The End
(The match was good. Loved to see good matches. The odds were against Samoa Joe until Angle comes in for the save. This was a brutal match. Something WWE needs to do is be more edgy and less kid friendly. The match was the appetizer. The save by Sting was the main course and unmasking Mike Know was the shitty dessert. I said the match was good. Too bad the ending messed it up. By the way, Anderson is a part of Aces and Eights. I guess this is a shock to people. I was not shocked.)

Final Thoughts: Ugh, well the ending fucked up a decent show. I want to say that I might have wanted more but then again, this was not good. I missed some things because I channel surfed. Also, didn't care about 2012 Wrestler of the Year. I guess I hope for better from WWE Smackdown but it was taped before the new year. Ugh, here we go.

Happy New Year and Happy 1 Year Anniversary From Gene The Grappler

Dear Fans and Friends of Gene The Grappler,

It is 1/1/13. We are in a new year. I started this blog series just to vent my frustrations about the bullshit of TNA and WWE. Am I popular? No I am not but I am working on that. As we celebrate 2012 into 2013, I am happy with the success of Gene The Grappler. Unlike places like The Wrestling Roundtable or NO DQ, I don’t report news. News can be manipulated but opinions are the core of what Gene The Grappler stand for.

So as we are into 2013, there will be changes but not big changes. I will try to do more for the people that like what I have to say. I am a wrestling fan. I am not a universe or anything like that. I left my childish dreams of wrestling in the 1980s. No more yearning to get the Attitude era back. It is time to focus on what my opinion is of whatever the fuck WWE and TNA does to appease us. In the New Year, I will try to incorporate ROH and other indy wrestling promotions. Also it is time to get NXT back into mix. One more thing I want to focus on is Mid Card Hell and Paycheck Players.

There will be more letters to wrestlers, managers, and leaders of wrestling promotions. Also, I will definitely try to travel to see more shows and actually report on it. Basically, Gene The Grappler is going to expand but gradually. Gene The Grappler is all about opinions because news can be faked. It is time for a real voice of the voiceless. Gene The Grappler is going to get dirty. So Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
