WWE Smackdown Review 8/31/12

Note: Let’s just go straight to the show!

Match#1: Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes
(Boring as hell. Moving on. )

Match#2: Kaitlyn defeated Natalya.
(Boring as hell…..)

Match#3: Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow via count out.
(Really? WTF!!!!)

Match#4: The Prime Time Players defeated Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel.
(Boring……)

Match#5: Alberto Del Rio defeated Kane.
(Really……..)

Main Event: Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler.
(This was the only thing good on the show for the most part.)

Final Thoughts: Most of this show was boring to me. I am sorry for the short review but this was bullshit. I guess I was not into this episode. Next week might be better. I apologize.

TNA Impact Review 8/30/12

Note: Last week was boring and shitty for me. I wanted more and expected more. I want to see something new and exciting for TNA. The Aces and Eights took out Austin Aries but did they take him out for good. Also most of the focus is still on the BFG Series. I don't care because it is rigged for me. With all that said, let's hope TNA gets better. Here's TNA Impact......

Match#1: James Storm vs. Rob Van Dam - BFG Series match
Winner: James Storm
(This was a good way to start the show. I am glad this was a better way to start the show. RVD is a paycheck player. RVD is there for the cash. Storm wants that title shot and to win as well. This was a good way for me to have faith in TNA again.)

Match#2: Madison Rayne vs. ODB
Winner: ODB
(ODB is back! So is EY! I am glad. This was a long time coming. Madison Rayne is not a wrestler. She needs to join WWE because she's perfect there. Thank you ODB for making this short and sweet.)

Match#3: A.J. Styles vs. Samoa Joe - BFG Series match
Winner: Samoa Joe
(Holy shit! This was like watching Hogan and Savage. Classic match for these guys. So happy to see AJ doing something good for TNA. Also Joe is back to form. This was the match that made me want to cry. This was a good match. Thank you TNA.)

Match#4: Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: Jeff Hardy
(Two good matches in a row. This was a flashback to WWE Attitude Era. These men were part of that era and part of the TNA era now. This was a good match to show people how to put on a good match for shows. I was happy to see Hardy get a win. Angle will get a title shot sometime in 2013.)

Main Event: Aces and Eights vs. TNA Superstars - Part Two
Winners: Aces and Eights - Took out Austin Aries
(This was a clusterfuck but a good one. I think I know that Garett Bischoff is part of the Aces and Eights. This was a good way to end the show. Austin Aries was taken out but the group but Bischoff's son is a part of the group. I hope this means we will see him be a heel. Let's hope.)

Final Thoughts: Holy Shit.......This was better than last week. I actually was happy to see some good matches. I am sorry there is no mention of the back stage shit but I care about the matches. Also, I was happy to see less of Bully Ray and more of guys like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and even Austin Aries. This is good for me as a fan but good for all of us as wresting fans. Hope to see that WWE could follow suit. See you all for WWE Smackdown..........

WWE Raw Review 8/27/12

Note: After getting the best gift of seeing last week's WWE Raw on my birthday, I hope this is a better show. No Brock or Paul Heyman! This should be an interesting show. Here's WWE Raw...........

Opening Segment: CM Punk and Jerry Lawler confrontation
(Ok, I like this confrontation only because I am tired of seeing CM Punk being pushed back because of Triple H, Cena, Rock and Brock. Lawler did jump the gun assuming that CM Punk turned against the WWE universe. I wanted to see this because I do think Lawler and Cole tend to fuck up facts. Also glad to see a real match with Lawler.)

Match#1: Ryback vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: Ryback
(This was a decent match to start the show. I love seeing good matches for WWE Raw. I think Swagger is going to change his gimmick. I hope we see Ryback get a title match with Cesaro or The Miz soon.)

Match#2: Layla vs. Natalia
Winner:Layla
(Who cares? The womens division is dead. All it is now is models and wannabes. This was sad to watch and even sadder to see this shit on TV. It is sad that women like Trish and Lita made it a good division but it went to shit now.)

Match#3: John Cena vs. The Miz
Winner: John Cena
(This was a good match like three years ago. The Miz has been stuck in mid card hell and this was a warm up match for Cena. This was a good match regardless but poor Miz and Cena still sucks.)

Match#4: Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater
Winner: Santino Marella
(Ugh......Santino won but now we got an issue with him and the sock. WTF? Also who cares about Slater? Put him in NXT or even the kiddie show so he can be a true jobber.)

Match#5: Sin Cara and Brodus Clay vs. Damien Sandown and Cody Rhodes
Winners: Sin Cara and Brodus Clay
(This was a clusterfuck. I have not see one in a long while. I will summarize this match like this: Ugh! It is bad enough that Sin Cara was in this match but teaming up Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow was like teaming up two prissy cats. This was a shitty match. No botches but a lot of dumb issues. )

Match#6: R-Truth vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner: R-Truth
(The segments with DB and Kane going into anger management is classic. This was a good match. I love seeing R-Truth use Little Jimmy. Also love the DB angle as well. I sense a Charlie Sheen cameo soon. )

Match#7: Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler
Winners:Sheamus and Randy Orton
(This was a match that was wasted on me. I know this was a good match but didn't care because of the fact that RKO is going to be WHC soon. Only after ADR gets his title run which is going to be short. Ziggler will not cash in his MITB contract until Survivor Series. )

Match#8: Zack Ryder vs. David Otunga
Winner: Zack Ryder
(This was a good moment for Ryder. He won on WWE Raw and will have an assist to Kane for taking out Otunga. This was a so so match. We all know that Ryder is going to make a deal of this because he can.)

Main Event: CM Punk vs. Jerry Lawler
Winner: CM Punk
(This was a so so match. This was only put together to gear up for Cena and Punk in a match. This was not a good night for Lawler. On the other hand, Lawler was looking good until the end. This was not a good way to end the show but then again, I am upset because of the lack of respect Punk is getting and the fact that Cena is going to take the title away from Punk. )

Final Thoughts: This was not the best show. I hated that Triple H did not say he was done but he will be done soon. Most of the show was a joke. I really think this was a shitty excuse of entertainment. I don't know what else to say because I am stunned by this show. Good night and see you all for TNA Impact.

WWE Smackdown Review 8/24/12

Note: After the WWE Raw, I hope WWE Smackdown is better. I also hope to see something different with Smackdown and also see more matches. With that said, here's WWE Smackdown.

Opening Segment: Randy Orton opens SmackDown and talks about what happened on RAW. Orton wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Title and issues a challenge if anyone has a problem with that. Sheamus comes out to a big pop. Sheamus agrees that Orton should get a title shot. This brings Alberto Del Rio out, who also wants a title shot. Booker T appears and books Orton vs. Del Rio with the winner facing Sheamus.
(So this was not the best way to start the show. I guess I had high hopes for this show. Here we go.......)

Match#1: Ryback vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: Ryback
(This was a ok way to start the show. I love how Ryback is gaining ground with wins. This was not a good way though to have Ryback get some competition.)

Match#2: Layla vs. Alicia Fox
Winner: Layla
(Who cares? This was boring....)

Match#3: Sheamus vs.Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Sheamus by DQ
(No comment........)

Match#4: Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Epico and Primo
Winner: Little Jimmy in Paradise
(No comment........)

Main Event: Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton
Winner: ADR
(Typical ending.......moving on.)

Final Thoughts: Well this was a short show to me. I am disappointed with the fact that I could have summarized this show in less than 100 words. I guess I am going to hope for good things next week on WWE Raw. This was bullshit.

TNA Impact Review 8/23/12

Note: This is open fight night. I hope we get to see Aces and Eights. I am hoping for a lot. Here's TNA Impact......

Match Number One: Brooke Tessmacher versus Tara
Winner: Tara
(This was a good women's match. Thank you TNA for giving me good wrestling from women. Not fucking models and divas.)

Match Number Two: Rob Van Dam vs Robbie E vs A.J. Styles - Bound for Glory Series Match
Winner: Robbie E
(What the fuck? This was a dumb match. RVD did get paid but Robbie E.? Really? This was bullshit!)

Match Number Three: Robbie T vs Jeff Hardy
Winner: Jeff Hardy
(Jeff got his pay check tonight. This was a clinic for Jeff Hardy. Nothing more to say.)

AJ Styles/Kaz/Daniels/Claire Segment-The End of The Storyline.
(No fucking comment. It is over.)

Match Number Four: Chris Lewie versus Gunner
Winner: Gunner
(Gut check match that I don't care about.........Moving on......)

Match Number Five: Ken Anderson vs Bully Ray - Bound for Glory Series Match
Winner: Ken Anderson
(This was a bullshit match because Anderson is out of the series. This was just plain wrong and full of shit.)

Main Event:  Aces and Eights vs. TNA Superstars
Winners: TNA Superstars
(No comment...........)

Final Thoughts: This was a weak ass show. Period. Hope next week is better. See you all for WWE Smackdown and also WWE Raw.

WWE Raw Review 8/20/12

Note: Today is my birthday. I am closer to 40 years old. I am a wrestling fan. I watched Summer Slam and hope that tonight is a good show. Not because it is my birthday, but because WWE fans need something good to see. With that said, here's WWE Raw.

Opening Segment: Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman segment.
(This was my favorite part of the show. Why? Because I don't have to see these men again until Survivor Series. This was good because this means Triple H is done. I hope this is done for now. I was tired of seeing Paul Heyman do the talking and Brock bouncing around.)

Match#1: Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and Sin Cara vs. Titus O'Neil, Darren Young and Cody Rhodes
Winners: Sin Cara, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
(This was funny to watch because it was like watching a bunch of men jumping around in the ring. This was close to be a clusterfuck but it saved itself. I love Little Jimmy in Paradise. )

Match#2: Ryback vs. Mike Spinner and Andy
Winner by DQ: Ryback
(Jinder Mahal came out to distract Ryback but I liked the fact that this was basically like watching Ryback kill some jobbers. Jinder is going to be a jobber soon because he is losing the fans. Thank you god for that.)

Match#3: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Randy Orton
(RKO won! Cool. ADR is still a heel. I don't really care. This was not a boring match but there is not a lot to bitch about with this match. )

Match#4: Brodus Clay vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Damien Sandow
(These men in an angle is like watching paint dry then looking at the sun. It is boring and painful. Moving on.)

We see Shawn Michaels at home being prepped for the satellite interview. Shawn has his arm in a cast. Cole is live via satellite with Shawn Michaels from his home in Texas. Cole asks his feelings on what happened at SummerSlam. Shawn says he thinks he knows what's going through Triple H's head right now. Shawn talks about preparing for your career to end but says there's really nothing that prepares you for that day. Shawn says Triple H is a warrior and always has been, a man of honor and integrity - something Heyman and Lesnar would know nothing about, he says. Shawn says Triple H gave everything he had every night and SummerSlam was no exception. Shawn wonders if things would have been different if he was in Triple H's corner. Shawn says he should have told Triple H the truth - that he didn't think Triple H could beat Lesnar. Shawn starts to get emotional and says Triple H has nothing to be ashamed of. Shawn calls him one of the greatest Superstars to ever live. Shawn says he has always respected him and will always be proud of him, and always love him. Shawn thanks Triple H for a job well done on behalf of the WWE Universe.
(This was a touching segment. I am glad to see that HBK can act. This was suppose to make Triple H look good for his match with Brock. I didn't buy it because it was acting. HBK has been tweeting and stuff. So he broke kayfabe. Moving on.....)

Match#5: David Otunga vs. Big Show
Winner: Big Show
(This was funny to see because basically David Otunga is a jobber again. Big Show made this a short match. I still rooted for Big Show because he is not a heel. He's just being a bad ass. Funny to watch......)

Match#6: Zack Ryder and Kane vs. The Miz and Daniel Bryan
Winner: No Contest
(This was close to being a clusterfuck but thank you Kane for making the match funny and bearable. Kane and DB are going to be in anger management. This will be a good way to kill time with DB and Kane. Zack Ryder was on Raw. He needs a title or something soon.)

Match#7: #1 Contenders Battle Royal: Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn, Aksana, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Tamina, Rosa Mendes
Winner and New #1 Contender: Kaitlyn
(Who cares? Not me........)

Match#8: Contract vs. Contract Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(Y2J is off to do a tour with Fozzy. So this was a way to get him off TV. Dolph got a pass on this match. Still this was a good match to see. Dolph is the new Y2J. )

Main Event: CM Punk confronts John Cena. CM Punk also confronts Jerry Lawler. CM Punk kicks Lawler.
(I am a true CM Punk fan. He is not getting the respect he should have. This is not a heel move but a real move. CM Punk is the WWE champ but is pushed back because of Triple H and Cena. So let him be ballsy. Lawler did jump the gun assuming that Punk turned heel after taking out the Rock.)

Final Thoughts: This was a good birthday gift. To see CM Punk show his frustration. No more Brock! And Y2J is off TV. This was a good show but still had some shitty matches. I guess this is going to be the week, I will not say alot about this show. I am going to hope that TNA will be better. See you all for TNA Impact..........

WWE Summer Slam Review 8/19/12

Note: This is my 25th Summer Slam that I have seen. I am hoping to see good things on this PPV. I also hope to say this is a good show. If not, I will be pissed. Here's WWE Summer Slam........

Match#1: WWE United States Title Match: Antonio Cesaro vs. Santino Marella
Winner and New WWE United States Champion: Antonio Cesaro
(Who cares? Another foreign guy wins a title that has the words United States in it. This was a good match because Santino lost finally. Really?)

Match#2: Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Chris Jericho
(This was a boost for Dolph because he needed the boost. This was a good match only because Y2J can still go at his age. This was a good thing to being the PPV.)

Match#3: Kane vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner: Daniel Bryan
(This feud will continue. I love seeing Kane and DB in matches. This was like watching a good comedy movie. Kane is not really a heel but he is still the devil's favorite demon. )

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
Winner: The Miz
(This was boring because Rey is getting old and stale like Cena. Also The Miz needs a real challenge or something to make him a better heel. )

World Heavyweight Title Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sheamus
Winner: Sheamus
(No comment......)

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
Winners: Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
(No comment......)

WWE Title Match: Big Show vs. John Cena vs. Big Show
Winner: CM Punk
(CM Punk is the best in the world but his match was not the last match. This is why I think CM Punk is going to do something crazy on Raw tomorrow. This was a good match though. )

Main Event: Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
Winner: Brock Lesnar
(This was the crown jewel of the night. This was a shitty match because this was more like a shitty fight. We all knew that Brock was going win. This was not a match I wanted to see but I wanted to see the end. This was a bad way to end the match and the show.)

Final Thoughts: This was a so so PPV. It was predicable. I guess WWE Monday Night Raw will be better. I hope WWE can deliver for Raw on my birthday. See you all for that.............

8/18/12

WWE Smackdown Review 8/17/12

Note: This is the show before the PPV. I hope for good things tonight. I am not looking forward to the WWE doing more not doing less. Here's WWE Smackdown..........

Opening Segment: Alberto Del Rio wants to see General Manager Booker T and wants his World Heavyweight Title match back on for SummerSlam. He's interrupted by Booker T and then Chris Jericho. Jericho wants the title shot at SummerSlam and it's Del Rio vs. Jericho in tonight's main event.
(I will save this until the end of the show. I feel a huge rant coming on. )

Match#1: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. The Miz and Cody Rhodes
Winner: Rey and Sin Cara
(This was a good match to see but I feel this was a wasted match. The Miz needs to be in the main event again. Cody is ready for main event status. Sin Cara is officially a jobber. Same with Rey. This was not the best match to start the show.)

Match#2: Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins vs. Two Jobbers
Winners: Reks and Hawkins
(WTF! Reks and Hawkins have just made me believe that mid card hell is real. WTF! I think I saw people crying during this match. Not tears of joy but tears of sadness. )

Match#3: Eve vs. Kaitlyn
Winner: Eve
(Ugh, why was this match on WWE TV? I know WWE hates womens wrestling. I know WWE was hiring models but this was sad to watch. Kaitlyn can wrestle but Eve is a fucking model. This was fucking sad. )

Match#4: Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner: RKO
(RKO is getting back to normal. He needs a title push soon. RKO is going to help Smackdown gain some viewers. DB is getting old with this no shit. I also think DB needs to be in a title hunt without the anger management bullshit. Why is Kane in this shit?)

Match#5: Antonio Cesaro vs. Zack Ryder
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(I want Zack Ryder to be popular again. I don't like Cesaro. This was sad to watch. )

Main Event: Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: ADR
After the match: Ziggler and Del Rio double team Jericho until Sheamus makes the save. Booker T comes out and addresses the situation, and say's Sheamus shouldn't be out there. Booker T re-instates the Alberto Del Rio vs. Sheamus match for SummerSlam.
(Where do I begin with this shit? I think ADR and Sheamus needs to happen. I know Sheamus will drop the title soon. ADR is going to win the title soon. Ziggler is going to cash in the contract and win the title. What that all equal.........Clusterfuck. This is going to be a colossal clusterfuck. Y2J is going to leave soon, so he needs to get out before he gets sucked into the cycle of clusterfuck. Wow!)

Final Thoughts: So this show is suppose to lead to the PPV. This is not the show for that. I think I said what I needed to say but I think Smackdown could be the show for rookies and also guys who need work. This was sad. The main event was a clusterfuck. Zack Ryder is jobbing pissed me off. The Miz is fucked. RKO is going to be champ but only if WWE says so. I'm off. See you all for the PPV.

WWE Raw Review 8/13/12

Note: After seeing a good PPV from TNA, it is back to the drama that is WWE. I wish they would go back to two hours because the first hour is used for bullshit and hype. I guess I am stuck between good TNA and shitty WWE. Here's WWE RAW.........

Opening Segment: No Opening Segment.......Match#1.

Match#1: Big Show vs. CM Punk
Winner: Big Show by DQ
(DB comes to ruin the match. AJ makes a tag team match between DB and Big Show versus CM Punk and Cena. Cena came down after DB came in to ruin the match. Let the fucking drama begin. At least AJ can take cues real well because we know the GM spot is mainly a non wrestling gig.)

Match#2: Ryback vs. JTG
Winner: Ryback
(Ryback is getting more named jobbers. JTG needs to find Shad and reform Cryme Time in TNA. Run JTG as fast as you can. Ryback is a jobber killer.)

Match#3: R-Truth vs. Heath Slater
Winner: R-Truth
(This was a quick match. Heath Slater is the legend doormat. R-Truth is ok for now. No Kofi. However, there was little Jimmy. The NXT Boys comes down to attack R-Truth.)

Match#4: Sin Cara vs. Tensai
Winner: Sin Cara
(Sin Cara basically stole a win because this was a joke. Tensai is a joke. This match was a joke. Tensai is getting stale. Sin Cara is another Rey Mysterio. WWE needs to stop using masked wrestlers. TNA needs them.)

Match#5: The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
(OMG! Dolph won a huge match. This match saw these men use all their finishers. This was a good match in a shitty show. I am laughing because this is a match of old school vs. new school.)

Match#6: Kaitlin and Layla vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres
Winner: Kaitlin and Layla
(Wow, a divas match. This should be interesting. However, it was not. Beth is the dominate diva in WWE but is surrounded by models and wannabes. Kaitlin is still learning. This match basically was boring. Time for WWE to finally give us Natalya vs. Beth and make it a real womens wrestling match. No gimmicks.)

Match#7: Big Show and Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk and John Cena
Winners: John Cena and CM Punk
(This is not the main event. I'm shocked. I see why CM Punk is pissed about not getting respect. The old men are getting the spot. This was a typical match. This was ok to see but I was watching other things. The endi ng was kind of silly. CM Punk saves Cena but he did not want to shake Punk's hand. So is Cena going to be a heel finally or is Punk being really straight edge? I am mad this was not the main event.)

Match#8: Damien Sandow vs. Christian
Winner:  Damien Sandow
(This match was throw together for no reason. Both are mid carders. This should have been on Smackdown. It was but done again to kill time. Brodus Clay tried to distract Sandow but it did not work. This was bullshit!)

Main Event: Brock Lesnar/Triple H SummerSlam contract signing with HBK and Paul Heyman
(We all know that contract signings are a way for wrestlers to have one good brawl before the PPV. This was good until the ending. HBK was held hostage by Brock and Paul was acting innocent. Triple H comes to save his friend but HBK ended up getting hurt. This was a homage to all the dumb storylines during the Attitude Era. Why?)

Final Thoughts: One good match and a shit load of hype for matches for the PPV this Sunday. Summer Slam is not going to be good unless things change. I am also convinced that Triple H vs. Brock is going to be just as bad as Brock vs. Cena. Both title matches are a joke. They will have a WHC title match this weekend regardless of the hype. Also They need to use the first hour to showcase the younger talent. Since NXT is not shown in the USA then highlight guys like Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, and those guys that would be on Superstars. See you all for TNA Impact..........

TNA Hardcore Justice Review 8/12/12

Note: This is going to be a good TNA PPV or a shitty one. Let's go to the action and hope there is not a lot of talk.

Opening Segment: No Opening Segment.........

Match#1 - Gunner and Kid Kash vs. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez
Winners: Chavo Guerrero and Henandez
(This was a good match to start the PPV. Nice clean match. Good to see Chavo in a place where he is used more and also being able to have some meaning in the roster. Hernandez is a good fit for Chavito. Gunner is floundering and Kid Kash is a joke. )

Match#2 - Falls Count Anywhere Bound For Glory Series Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Magnus
Winner: Rob Van Dam
(This was a good match. RVD just got his pay. I know I am hard on RVD but it is because he's been a joke since leaving WWE. Mr. Anderson is better in TNA because in WWE he was a joke and claimed to be injury ridden. Magnus lost his appeal since dropping the tag team titles. This is a good match though.)

Match#3 - TNA Television Title Match: Kazarian vs. Devon
Winner: Devon
(Well Devon is not going anywhere yet. This was the only match where I hated the competitors and also hated the fact they had this match on PPV. Devon is the TV champ so defend the fucking title on TV. Really TNA?)

Match#4 - TNA Knockouts Title Match: Madison Rayne vs. Miss Tessmacher
Winner and New TNA Knockouts Champion: Madison Rayne
(I smell shades of Montreal 1996 all over again. What's funny is that I don't like neither one of these women but I am happy to see the title off Brooke T. and also happy to see what's to come which is either my TNA dream (Gail Kim) or someone else get the title soon.)

Match#5 - Bound For Glory Series Tables Match: Robbie E. vs. Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy vs. James Storm
Winner: Bully Ray
(I call bullshit on this match. Just like Devon keeping the title, Bully Ray is going to leave soon. This was a good match but since it is a tables match, Bully had to win. Bullshit! Fucking bullshit!)

Match#6 - TNA X Division Title Match: Kenny King vs. Zema Ion
Winner: Zema Ion
(Here's another match that I liked watching but I will call bullshit on. I like Zema Ion and love that he's the champ. I hope to see more matches between these men. Kenny King is going to be a star in TNA because WWE will turn him into a jobber for Ryback or Clay asap. Good title match but bullshit.)

Match#7 - 20-Point Bound For Glory Series Ladder Match: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
Winner: AJ Styles
(I have said that AJ is TNA. I am right with that. I think this was a match for AJ because this was the best match of recent history where AJ shined. Angle is another mainstay in TNA. He will never leave TNA. Samoa Joe keeps showing me that he is not a joke. This was a good ladder match for TNA standards.)

Main Event - TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries
Winner:Austin Aries
(I am in love with Austin Aries. He has made me believe in TNA. Bobby Roode is the best heel in TNA. This match is just like a fine wine and gettin better with age. This was a good match to watch on PPV. I am glad this ended clean. Thank you TNA!)

Final Thoughts: Well I think this was a good PPV. I just think we as fans need to let TNA know that more PPVs need to happen outside the south. I know they are not as big as WWE but if they get out of the south and work to the north and west, I would be happy. This was a good PPV to see in August because WWE SummerSlam is going to suck a little. See you all for another 3 hour WWE Raw.

WWE Smackdown Review 8/10/12

Note: Booker T. is in charge. No more seeing him on the broadcast booth. No more crazy ass commentary. Also we might see something good tonight. I am asking a lot from WWE because we both know that we don't get good wrestling but shitty mess. Here's the WWE B show: Smackdown..............

Opening Segment: General Manager Booker T kicks off the show to a big hometown pop. He talks about Sheamus taking Alberto Del Rio's Ferrari on RAW. Booker thinks Sheamus should apologize. Sheamus comes out and apologizes. Del Rio comes out and threatens trouble with the police for Sheamus taking his car. Del Rio is upset with Booker for not punishing Sheamus. Booker grants Del Rio a World Heavyweight Title shot for tonight's main event.
(Well this is a good way to start the show. Last week seeing Vince on TV and also having Booker T. being the new GM was good. This was better. ADR is going to be the heel to beat. I hope Sheamus is not next.)

Match#1: Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes
Winner: Cody Rhodes
(This was a good match to start the show. No Sheamus! Sin Cara is getting old. Time to do something with this guy. Also why is Cody back in mid card hell? WWE is at it again for burying good wrestlers.)

Match#2: Christian vs. Antonio Cesaro
Winner: Christian
(Another good mid card match. Christian is falling out of the main event but this is getting worse. Also who the fuck is this Cesaro guy? First he get Aksana then he has been beating Santino. This guy needs a better gimmick. I guess he is a big thing. I don't see it.)

Match#3: Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger
Winner: RKO
(This is another warm up match for the returning RKO. This is better than being stuck in mid card hell. Swagger needs a new gimmick. Or just release him and let TNA do something to him. Also, this is the second match that was under five minutes. Really WWE?)

Ryback/Jinder Mahal segment
(I don't think this was considered a match. I think this was something to kill time. This was semi boring to me. I guess guys are trying to kill the Ryback train. This was dumb seeing them beat up some young guys. )

Chris Jericho hosts The Highlight Reel with Vickie Guerrero. For some reason Dolph Ziggler isn't with her. Jericho shows footage of Ziggler losing to Alex Riley and Vickie challenges him to a SummerSlam match. Jericho says he's bringing back Y2J and accepts the match. Ziggler ran through the crowd, rushed the ring and laid Jericho out with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler stood over Jericho before leaving.
(Good way to show that Dolph is better than Y2J. We all know that Y2J is leaving after SummerSlam. At least he will put over Dolph before he leave. This was a good way to boost Dolph as the heel.)

Match#4: Darren Young and Titus O'Neil vs.Primo and Epico - #1 contenders match
Winners: Primo and Epico
(Here's an ideal for this shitty tag team division: Triple Threat Ladder Match for the titles at SummerSlam or do something to bring more prominance to these titles. This was dumb and lost on me. For some reason, seeing these guys wrestle makes me change channels. I guess that's the point.)

Rey Mysterio vs.The Miz
Winner: The Miz
(I feel like this was an insult to see these guys wrestle. The Miz should be facing mid carders. Not guys like Rey. Rey should be like Taker and only wrestle occasionally. This was a good match but it insulted me to see this.)

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and calls AJ Lee out but Kane comes instead. AJ eventually comes out and it ended with Kane knocking Bryan out. They brawled until Kane chased Bryan through the crowd.
(Really? This was saved for Smackdown? What the fuck? Booker T. is going to be a good GM but AJ won't last much longer. Especially if they make her look saner than DB. Daniel Bryan should be chasing titles not being made into a fool.

Police come to the ring but Alberto Del Rio stops them because he wants his title shot. Sheamus tries to fight the cops away but they get the best of him. Del Rio join in and beat Sheamus down, working on his arm and applying the cross armbreaker. Trainers came out to help Sheamus to the back as SmackDown ended.
(This is getting old with these two. I am tired of ADR using a weak armbreaker to hurt someone. Sheamus is not that weak to submit to a simple submission. This made me mad to watch this shit as an ending. Really WWE? I am tired of these weak ass ending. End with a match not some bullshit.)

Final Thoughts: This weekend is TNA Hardcore Justice. I think that might be better to watch than seeing this mess this week. I could book a better show on WWE '12. This was garbage for the most part. I am going to watch a TNA PPV then off to watch another episode of WWE Raw. See you all for Hardcore Justice and WWE Raw.

TNA Impact Review 8/9/12

Note: More BFG matches. More bullshit with Aces and Eights. More bullshit with AJ and his baby momma drama. Well at least there will be some good ass matches. I guess this is better than WWE TV. Here's TNA Impact before Harcore Justice.

Match#1 - Bound For Glory Series: Rob Van Dam vs Brutus Magnus
Winner: Rob Van Dam
(RVD got his pay check for this week. Magnus was a dominate guy but is now slowly being a jobber again. Well at least he gets on TV. This was a good way to start the match.)

Match#2 - World Tag Team Title Match: Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian vs TV Champion Devon & Garett Bischoff
Winners: Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian
(This was a good tag team match. Garrett and Devon work together. Devon and Garett looked good together. The champs looked good and even though they started the AJ baby daddy drama, they can wrestle.)

Match#3 - Bound For Glory Series: Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles
Winner: Kurt Angle
(Angle is getting better in TNA. AJ is TNA. This was a good match even though AJ is in a shitty storyline. This was a good BFG match to see. I guess real wrestling exist in TNA.)

Match#4 - Gail Kim vs Knockouts Champion Brooke Tessmacher
Winner: Brooke Tessmacher
(I miss Gail Kim as champ. This was a good match regardless. I wanted Gail to win. I don't like Brooke T. as champ. I guess after this we will see Madison Rayne go for the title. I just threw up after thinking about her and Earl Hebner making out. Ewww.)

Main Event - Bound For Glory Series: Bully Ray vs James Storm
Winner: Bully Ray
(Here we go with Bully Ray being in the main event. Why? He's not a main eventer. James Storm should have won this match. This was a good match only because Storm made it a good match. The ending was shit though.)

After The Main Event: Bully Ray grabbed his chain to fight off Aces & Eights if they were to make an appearance tonight. No sign of the group, so Ray shouted at Storm where the Aces & Eights are. Ray told Storm to send for the group so they can do this. Suddenly, the modulated voice man appeared on the screen again. The prospect told Bully he will be seeing a lot more of them on Sunday. Back live, Ray asked Storm to clarify if they're coming for him on Sunday. Storm rolled out of the ring as Ray kept asking him to explain himself as Impact faded out.
(I wish they would hurry up and explain who is the Aces and Eights. I also want to know who is the leader of this group. I hope it is not Storm. I don't think I want to see James Storm as a heel. I want it to be Bully Ray or someone else.)

Final Thoughts: I got to see some good wrestling this week. It was on TNA. This was a good show before the PPV this sunday. I guess I wanted to see more good wrestling but I will have to settle for shitty wrestling on WWE Smackdown. See you all for WWE Smackdown.

WWE Raw Review 8/6/12

Note: After watching last week's WWE Smackdown, I guess WWE Raw will have more action since it is three hours. Three hours of WWE Raw is going to get use to. I hope we get to see more matches and less drama. Here's WWE Raw........

Opening Segment: Recaps of Last Week's WWE Raw.
(That just wasted like five minutes of my life. Why do I need a recap? Also with it being three hours, just get to some action. Less talking about the past.)

Match#1: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: CM Punk
(This would have been a good match but I have seen this match before. I don't forget matches like the WWE thinks I am suppose to. This is still a good match. I like how CM Punk is now starting the show. Why is WWE champs starting the show? Really? This is why CM Punk is about to be heel. He is not getting respected.)

Match#2: Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(This was a total sqaush. Christian is going back to mid card hell. ADR is getting more heat. I just want to know why is ADR is wrestling in the first hour. Just like CM Punk and Sheamus, what the fuck? WWE is pissing me off with their big stars beginning the show. This was a squash.)

Match#3: Randy Orton vs. Big Show
Winner: No Contest/Double Count Out
(OMG! No matter what, RKO can make a good match better. Big Show made this match good as well. This should have ended cleanly. RKO and Big Show have wrestled before but this is the best match they had in years. I cannot wait to see RKO as champion again. Same goes for Big Show before he retires.)

Match#4: Ryback vs. Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins
Winner: Ryback
(I am trying to like Ryback. I can't. This is like Goldberg. I feel sorry for Hawkins and Reks because they are jobbing to a bigger jobber. This is sad.)

Match#5: Primo and Epico vs. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young
Winners: Primo and Epico
(I am confused. Which team is suppose to face the champs and which is suppose to be the jobbers? This is confusing. Also why did AW say the dumb shit he says. This is why WWE has a shitty tag team division. Just go back to putting guys together and win the titles. Also just change the titles like they do theme songs.)

Match#6: Brodus Clay vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: No One/Did not start.
(This is worse than Ryback. I was liking Clay but now he got kids in the ring with him. What the fuck? Sandow is the Genius but more douchy. This match did not start because Sandow took him out before the match. I did not see the end because I changed the channel.)

Match#7: Kelly Kelly vs. Eve Torres
Winner: Kelly Kelly
(I love wrestling. I love women wrestling. This was bullshit! KK cannot wrestle! Eve cannot wrestle! So this was just two women flailing around in the ring. This was a bad match to watch. TNA can put on a better womens match.)

Special Note/In Ring: WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels to a big pop from the hometown crowd. Shawn thanks the fans for allowing him to be part of history once again - RAW 1000. He talks about the DX reunion, calling it priceless. Shawn says he's just fine on his ranch but when he heard RAW was coming to San Antonio, there was no way he could miss it. Shawn says the more things change, the more they stay the same. He talks about new faces backstage but the one thing that's the same is the talk. Shawn says everyone is talking about the confrontation at SummerSlam between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. Lesnar's music interrupts and out he comes with Paul Heyman. Heyman takes the mic and says everyone wants to know Shawn's opinion of the match. Heyman calls Shawn the greatest in-ring entertainer in WWE history. Heyman says Lesnar isn't going to SummerSlam as an entertainer. He's not going to entertain with Triple H. Brock doesn't care about entertaining. Lesnar is going to SummerSlam to fight Triple H and to prove once again that he's the baddest dude on the planet today, Heyman says. The crowd chants for HBK. Heyman moves to the apron as Lesnar gets ready to fight. Triple H stands beside Shawn and also gets ready. Lesnar laughs and takes the mic. He points at Triple H and tells him he will see him at SummerSlam. Lesnar points at Shawn next and says he will see him before then. Lesnar leaves the ring with Heyman as Triple H and HBK look on. The crowd chants "you suck" as Lesnar smiles back at the ring.
(First HBK/HHH are united against Taker for WM28 now we got them united against Brock. This match for SummerSlam is going to be shit. I wish this would end soon. I do love seeing HBK back in the ring. I love seeing the old school WWE people. However, I hate how WWE writers make this shit so fucking dumb.)

Match#8: Dolph Ziggler vs. Alex Riley
Winner: Alex Riley
(Holy shit! A-Ry won a match. Y2J saw this match up close and helped A-Ry win. This was a match suited for Superstars not for Raw. Dolph is going to be a champion but I hope it is a major title not for a fucking mid card title. )

Match#9: Kane vs. The Miz
Winner: Kane
(This was a good match for the mid carders. Both these guys had titles and glory. Both these guys can do magic in the ring. So why are these guys being punished? Another reason why WWE loves to kill people's character. Kane is now a face in a mask. The Miz is a title holder. However, this made them look bad.)

Main Event: Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena
Winner: John Cena
(Same Cena match, different person. This was boring. Also why is Cena the main event but CM Punk is the the title holder? What the fuck?)

After the main event: CM Punk's music hits and out comes the WWE Champion. Punk hits the ring where Cena waits. Punk holds up the WWE Title. Cena points at it and here comes Big Show. Cena sees him first and pushes Punk out of the way. Cena goes at it with Show and blocks a chokeslam. Cena scoops Show for an AA but Punk gets up and knocks them both over. Cena grabs a headset on commentary and says maybe it's his fault that people have disrespected him because he let them. Punk says he's been smiling, kissing babies and making people happy but from here on out, he does what he does best. RAW ends the same way the last two did, the WWE Champion standing tall and proving that he's the best wrestler in the world, Punk declares. Punk goes back in the ring and tries to kick Big Show but Show lays him out with a knockout punch. Cena gets up and Show knocks him out also. Show gets hype and raises the WWE Title. Show's music hits as he puts the belt over his shoulder and we go to replays. RAW goes off the air with Show holding the WWE Title up high.
(At least the ending was better than the match itself. Big Show is getting better with age. CM Punk is becoming a joke because of Cena. This is better for an ending but I am still pissed.)

Final Thoughts: This was a shitty show. Everything was predicatble. I hated that the champ is being used in the beginning not at the end. If this was back in the day, Hogan would have had a fit. I guess I will just blow this off and move on to TNA. So until Thursday, see you all for TNA Impact.

WWE Smackdown Review 8/3/12

Note: This is going to be an interesting show because we get a new GM on Smackdown. We also will see ADR and Sheamus in action. I guess I am excited to see this be a good show. So here's WWE Smackdown..........

Opening Segment: Vince McMahon kicks off this week's show to a big pop and talks about the new General Manager. He introduces Booker T to a decent reaction. Alberto Del Rio interrupts things which brings out Sheamus. Booker has Sheamus and Del Rio booked in separate matches tonight. Del Rio protests and says he's not wrestling until SummerSlam. Booker announces Del Rio vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus vs. Tensai, which is up first.
(I love this. Booker T as GM is a good fit. Also it gets him off the commentating table because he tries his best to call a match but he is a mess. Seeing Vince on Smackdown was weird since he hates being on there. Not like the old days.)

Match#1: Sheamus vs.Tensai
Winner: Sheamus
(This was a squash for Sheamus. Sheamus is the champ but he's starting the show. That's not right! Also, Tensai is being a joke as well because he is now jobbing again. What the hell!)

Match#2: Antonio Cesaro vs. United States Champion Santino Marella
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
(Finally, a guy to take on Santino. Just one thing, this is the U.S. title. So the U.S. title is code for put it on the guys from outside the U.S. This is a joke.)

Match#3: The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan vs. Christian, Kane and Chris Jericho
Winners: The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan
(This was a clusterfuck. A good clusterfuck. I guess I love seeing wrestling. The Miz is stuck in mid card hell. For the exception on DB, all these guys are residence in mid card hell. This has to be the best match of the night but that's not saying a lot. I am glad to see The Miz and Dolph actually in a match where it is good.)

Match#4: Ryback vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: Ryback by DQ
(Jinder is boring. Ryback is getting stale. Moving on. )

Match#5: Darren Young vs. R-Truth
Winner: Darren Young
(Who cares? Not me.)

Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio
Winner: RKO by DQ
(RKO is back but ADR is being a pussy. This was a good match until the end. Nothing else can be said.)

Final Thoughts: Aside from Booker T. being the GM, this shit sucked. This was like the run off from WWE Raw. This upsets me because they do put more emphasis on WWE Raw that WWE Smackdown is shit. That's not right. I guess I will try to sit through another WWE Raw. See you all soon.

TNA Impact Review 8/2/12

Note: I hope they reveal who is the leader of Aces and Eights soon. I am getting bored of this angle right now. I also hope this is a good show. I am hoping for a lot. Here’s TNA Impact……………

No Opening Segment! Straight to the first match…………

Match#1: Kenny King and Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode and Zema Ion
Winners: Kenny King and Austin Aries
(This should have ended the show! The action was non stop. OMG!!! Kenny King is my new TNA favorite. He was in ROH but made a better decision. Austin Aries is the man in TNA. Bobby Roode and Zema Ion looked good as well. This was a good ass match. Good way to start the show but should have ended the show. )

Match#2: BFG Series Match - Robbie E. vs. Bully Ray
Winner: Bully Ray
(This was the dumbest thing I ever saw on TV. I did not care who won but I do wish they would put on more matches with good wrestlers not has beens and wannabes.)

Match#3: #1 Contender for the KO title – Mickie James vs. Tara vs. Madison Rayne vs. Gail Kim
Winner: Madison Rayne
(I smell shades of Montreal 1996. Earl Hebner screwed someone out of something again. So Madison Rayne is facing Miss Tessmacher for the KO title. Ok well I guess this is going to be another screwjob ending for this title.)

Match#4: Chavo Guerrero vs. Kid Kash
Winner: Chavo
(This was a solid match. I love that Chavo is the face. He needs a good push since WWE fucked him over. Kid Kash can still wrestle. At least he’s in a good place not like a lot of ECW guys that fall off the face of the earth. Good match. )

Main Event: BFG Match – James Storm vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: James Storm
(OMG!!! This was a good match at the end. A clean finish to the show is something I am not use to. WWE needs to watch this match for notes. No Aces and Eights! )

Final Thoughts: I hate to admit this but I like TNA this week. This was a good show. I know I did not talk about the backstage stuff but I am not into the baby momma drama with AJ and Claire. I don’t care if Brooke is being targeted by Aces and Eights. I definitely don’t care if we got guest there and also we got to see Wes Brisco. I want to see wrestling. This was good wrestling as a whole. BFG series still is a dumb concept but I like the matches they put together. With all that said, TNA was good. Oh god, that means WWE Smackdown is going to be shit or I might see two good shows this week. We will see…….
