WWE Raw Review 8/19/13

Note: Well this should be an interesting show tonight. We will see something that should help setup the next PPV which is going to be in Detroit next month. Night of Champions will be the shit. As for this show, well we all know that WWE tends to setup the show after the PPV. They are still in California but we all know the west coast crowd will be a good thing for WWE. So let's get into this show and hope for the best. Here's WWE Raw after Summer Slam 2013.........

Opening Segment: John Cena comes out to say he is out of action for 4 to 6 months. The crowd goes wild. He calls out Daniel Bryan who is gettting mad cheers from the crowd. As he was about to speak, Stephanie McMahon comes out to talk to DBry. Stephanie kicks DBry out after he errupts and gets pissed. Security escorts him out of the arena.
(This is why I love seeing the show after the PPV. We all know that Daniel Bryan was screwed out of the title last night. Stephanie coming out was ok but got better when she was showing signs of being heel herself. Basically the seeds are set to the rebirth of The Corporation 2.0 which is a good thing for WWE and the older fans.)

Match#1: Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Cody Rhodes
(We saw the setup for this match for this match. We saw this match during the PPV. SSDD in action. We all know that Sandow will try to cash in the MITB and Cody will stop him. So this feud will continue. I am not excited to see this but it is better than nothing at all.)

Match#2: Cameron and Naomi vs. AJ Lee and Layla
Winners: Cameron and Naomi
(This was a quick match. We all know that the black girls cannot wrestle. They are learning to but cannot wrestle. AJ and Layla can wrestle. We all know that WWE will not let a divas match last longer than five minutes. Before the match, the bullshit drama with Bella twins and the black girls were seen on TV. This is a part of the shit with the divas reality show. The only good thing with this match was the FAP scale was through the roof. Thanks WWE for this slice of heaven.)

Match#3: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Shield
Winners: The Shield
(Dolph say some things about Triple H and he was punished. This was a huge ass beatdown. We all know that Dolph can show off but this was not the match for that. He was basically a guy who pissed off the boss. What was funny was this was a good match. Dolph basically could have won this match. However, Roman Reigns damn near killed Dolph with a spear. Best ass whooping in months.)

Match#4: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
Winner: Alberto Del Rio by Default
(Sin Cara needs to join TNA asap. This character is basically a joke in WWE. Even last night, we got the best meme ever on the internet: Arrive. Botch. Leave. How do you break your wrist? Sin Cara did it while doing a stunt through the ropes. What was funny was ADR trying to keep the match going. Unlike Rock/Cena, we have seen this match over 70 times in a lifetime. So we should be done but now Ricardo Rodriguez is with Rob Van Dam. What the fuck! Well we hope to see RVD go after the title. )

Match#5: Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger (The Real Americans)  vs. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young (Prime Time Playas)
Winner: Prime Time Playas
(I don't have a lot to say. This was boring to me. What's sad is that I was about to go to sleep. Not good WWE. )

Match#6: Big Show vs. The Shield
Winner: Big Show
(Big Show was doing an interview. He was interrupted by Brad Maddox. Big Show said some things about Triple H. So he was put into a match with The Shield. This was the best showing of Big Show in months. This was like watching three kids take out the giant kid. Again, Roman Reigns shows us he can take out small and large men in the ring. This was like watching the best wrestling match ever on TV. Even Andre The Giant would be proud of Big Show's abilities.)

Match#7: CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel - Street Fight
Winner: CM Punk
(This was not technically a match. This was basically two men fighting. CM Punk damn near killed Axel. Paul Heyman basically had his guy thrown to the wolves. My god, I was in love with the fact that CM Punk is going to kill this guy. Paul Heyman, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar will be the focal point of Survivor Series PPV in November. That will be when CM Punk wins against Brock. Until then, Axel is the appetizer. )

Match#8: R-Truth vs. Bray Wyatt
Winner: Bray Wyatt
(This was a creepy ass jobber match. Moving on.)

Match#9: Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater (3MB) vs. The Usos
Winners: The Usos
(Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! Boring!!!!!! )

Match#10: Wade Barrett vs. The Miz
Winner: Wade Barrett
(This was close to being boring. Thank god it was not. However, not a fan of Fandango. So moving on.)

Main Event: In the ring, the entire McMahon family is in the ring. Triple H, Steph and Vince were all in the ring boosting up the whole big picture and setting up the introduction of the new WWE champion - Randy Orton. After a few minutes of crap from RKO, all of them in the ring wants Daniel Bryan to come to the ring. He comes out and is damn near killed by The Shield. So after Triple H calls off the hounds. Daniel Bryan comes into the ring and into a vicious RKO.
(I was happy to see a heel RKO. I was happy to see the family come out to being heels. This was basically the end of the PG era. I know it is not but it is to me. Especially since we wish for the end of the PG era. )

Final Thoughts: My birthday is tomorrow. We all know that Smackdown tapes their show on Tuesdays. So one of my birthday wishes is that we get to see a good Smackdown. As for this show, we got what we wanted to see. Something to end the Summer Slam hype and start the next PPV hype. Like I said, Night of Champions PPV will be in Detroit, my home. So I pray that we get something good because if we get the same shit from Summer Slam, I will not buy tickets. See you all for TNA Impact because I want to see if Hardcore Justice was a success.
