TNA Impact Review 1/31/13

Note: This is one of many TNA Impact shows that were taped in England. I love taped TNA shows because reading it ahead of time gives me time to imagine the worse and hope for the best. Also, seeing that tonight is the night that Dixie Carter has an important announcement about TNA, the show, and also the company in general, I want to know what this announcement is. So with all that said, let's watch TNA and have some fun.......

Opening Segment: Christopher Daniels and Kazarian come out dressed in kilts. They talk about beating up Hardy. Magnus chases them off. Magnus then challenges Devon as part of "Open Fight Night."
(Love Daniels and Kaz. This was a good way to piss off the locals and also get that heel heat that people want to give out. Also, loved that Magnus basically was the face of the night. This was a welcome change for him. However, it won't last. Thank you Magnus for calling out the TV champ. )

Match#1: Magnus vs Devon
Winner: Magnus by DQ
(Well good news is that Magnus was the hometown hero. The bad news is that Aces and Eights can flight a plane and make the trip to be the heels. So I guess this was a win win for us as fans to see these guys run rough shot over the jobbers and stars.)

Match#2: Joseph Park vs. Robbie E.
Winner: Joseph Park
(This was fucking boring. Bring back Abyss.)

Match#3: Austin Aries vs. Chavo Guerrero
Winner: Austin Aries
(This was a wasted match. Why? Because I want to see Aries and Roode in the title hunt. I don't want them in the tag team division. This was bullshit. )

Match#4: Velvet Sky & James Storm vs. Tara & Jessie Godderz
Winners: Velvet Sky and James Storm
(The only reason why I watched this match was to see Tara and that ass. I am not a fan of Velvet Sky, Jesse, or the female referee. James Storm is another guy that needs to be in the title hunt and not doing matches with KOs. I saw Tara and her nice ass, then I changed channels. )

Match#5: RVD vs. Zema Ion vs. Kenny King
Winner: RVD
(Paycheck player needs to drop the title and retire. Zema and Kenny should be fighting for the title. This was another wasted match because it was pointless to show that RVD is better than the young guys. That's bullshit.)

Main Event: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson - Steel Cage Match
Winner: Kurt Angle
(Very good match. These men can make a match look good. I am glad this was the main event because at least this is a quality caliber match. Angle is better off in TNA but he will come back to WWE to do a retirement gig. I loved this match and was entertaining.Good job TNA.....)

After the match: : A masked member of Aces and Eights hit the ring and attacked Angle. The member revealed themselves as Garett Bischoff. Wes Brisco, dawning an Aces and Eights jacket, came out and joined in.
(Well I saw this coming because we all know that Aces and Eights are growing. Also I saw Garett Bischoff some months ago on TV that was in a mask for Aces and Eights but he was quickly blocked out. So this will lead to something but nothing good or great.)

Final Thoughts: Well I am going to say that TNA will be doing like WWE and do shows on the road for good. No more tapings in Florida. That means we will see shows from places like Chicago starting in March. Basically, the show was good for the most part. We got to see Bully Ray back in TNA. We will see a match with Bully Ray and Sting vs. Aces and Eights for next week. We will see more people join Aces and Eights. See you all for WWE Smackdown because I want to let this show simmer for the week.
