WWE Smackdown Review 2/1/13

Note: This show has to do better than WWE Raw. We saw the return of Brock Lesnar. We saw The Rock as champ. We saw Cena brag about meeting the champ. So what can WWE Smackdown do? We are about to find out. Here's WWE Smackdown and let's hope for the best in this.........

Opening Segment: Booker T and Teddy Long are in the ring for their World Title announcement. Sheamus, Randy Orton, The Great Khali, Daniel Bryan, Kane and Dolph Ziggler are also out as Elimination Chamber participants. Ziggler interrupts and isn't interested in all this because he already has a guaranteed shot. Booker makes Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio for later tonight. Also, Team Hell No vs. Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio. Jack Swagger returned and wanted in the Chamber but Booker says he has to earn it, as does everyone else tonight.
(So happy to see Swagger back. As for everyone else, why is Khali in the title picture? Also I know Ziggler has an iron clad contract for the WHC title but why include him in the match? I hate that the WHC title is going to have an elimination chamber match but not the fucking WWE title. Also, I really think I want to see someone different manage Smackdown because Teddy Long is pissing me off with the tag team bullshit.)

Match#1: Sin Cara and Rey vs. Team Hell No
Winners: Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio
(The only reason why I watched this match is to see Team Hell No argue. Other than that, this was a boring match because Rey is old and played. Sin Cara is a joke. )

Match#2: The Great Khali vs. Jinder Mahal
Winner: The Great Khali
(Boring.........Yawning during this match. Why? 3MB is a joke and Khali and Hornswoggle is a mix of a clusterfuck.)

Match#3: Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow
Winner: Sheamus by DQ
(The match they had on WWE Raw was good. However, this was fucked up because of the Shield. I hated the fact that they had to ruin a good second take of this match. Also so fucking pissed this ended the way they did. Fucking WWE Creative......)

Match#4: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
Winner: Randy Orton
(I want to thank Bo Dallas for both killing and making Wade Barrett better. I wanted these men to fight like they did in the past but we get nothing like it now. I think the rookie is making Barrett better. As for Orton, he will be heel soon. Can't wait for him to be evil. )

Match#5: Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston
Winner: Jack Swagger
(I cannot praise Swagger for coming back. This was the best match of the night. We saw the hits and misses of Swagger. He does need to get a new finisher. Love the look. As for Kofi, time to mark your spot in the mid card again. Good job Swagger.)

Main Event:Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(I am glad to see this happen but laughing at the fact that it ended cleanly and also we got to see Big Show KO Ricardo again. The match was good because Del Rio is good and Ziggler is selling every move. Good job ending this match clean. Also good job with the ending.)


Final Thoughts: Well why the fuck they broke up Team Rhodes Scholars? Why are they fucking over the tag team division again? I mean unless they are going to use the NXT guys to build up the tag teams, why break up a good heel team? Also, why is Rey and Sin Cara back together? Geez, what the fuck? So there was some good in this show. I loved the drama with Big Show and Del Rio. Poor Ricardo is just the punching bag in the middle. By the way, welcome back Jack Swagger. Someone that can be the U.S. title holder is back to regain it. This was not bad but we need to do something about the matches setup for the PPV this month. See you all for WWE Raw.
