TNA Impact Review 3/20/14

Note: Before each TNA show, I try to hope for a show where we see more matches and less backstage stuff. I want to see some changes and some eliminations. TNA use to be a good way to stop WWE for a little while. Now, it is sad to watch TNA unless you want to be bored. Unlike WWE, TNA is getting better but some things will never change. We will see something different but what I want to see is something cool. Her we go with TNA Impact...

Match#1: Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Lashley
Winner: No Contest
(Well it is hard to take this match seriously. I say that because to me, there was more botches than anything else. Bobby Lashley can wrestle but it was EC3 that was messing up the match. I want to thank Willow for ending this match before it was going to be a predictable ending for TNA. Moving on...)

Match#2: Gail Kim vs. Lei'd Tapa - Loser Leaves TNA
Winner: Gail Kim
(This was a good match. I was told before this match that this was really going to be the last match for Lei'd Tapa. So basically this was a good bye for Lei'd Tapa. I love Gail Kim and she did make this a great last match for Lei'd Tapa. I think it was fitting that Gail Kim is alone again because she don't need a body guard. )

Match#3: BroMans vs. The Wolves vs. Tigre Uno and Sanada - TNA Tag Team Title Match
Winners: BroMans
(I was pissed that the titles did not change. Only because seeing the titles on BroMans is a joke because they cannot wrestle. The Wolves, Sanada and Tigre Uno was putting on a clinic of why TNA needs to do something with the X Division again. They stole the show and the match. However, we saw that the heel won. Fuck that shit...)

Main Event: Samoa Joe vs. Magnus - TNA Heavyweight Title Match
Winner: Magnus
(Who is getting tired of Magnus as champion? I am starting to. I loved that he was not going to play the idiot with a title but the heel with heat. So this match could have been better but we all know that in wrestling logic, we play things out for weeks and months. So basically, this was a good match until the ref bump and also MVP and Abyss getting involved. So the paper champion is still the champ. One more thing...)

Between Matches Recap: Eric Young and Abyss fought before the first match. They fought from the back to the front. ODB helped EY but Abyss choked out EY. James Storm and Gunner continued their feud. James Storm chained Gunner to the ring rope and KOed  Gunner's father. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky reformed The Beautiful People without Madison Rayne. Angelina Love beat up Madison Rayne in the back. Finally, Bully Ray got jumped by Bobby Roode in Dixie's office.
(This is why TNA is short on matches but long on storylines. Basically, all these segments and stuff could have been added to another show and could have saw a third hour of TNA. This is going to be a new thing because the matches are getting shorter but these segments are getting longer. Time to end the review. )

Final Thoughts: Well I will admit that this was better than this week's WWE Raw. However, not by much. This was more so the non wrestling segments being the better show than the actual wrestling. I think it is sad that the show is using a lot of backstage segments and less wrestling. I will also admit that it is hard to watch both this and WWE NXT. So time to review WWE NXT and see you all for WWE Smackdown.
